"Dok, can we see it?" ask Rafika curious.
"Please, but not for too long. Let him rest first" the doctor said.
"Okay, Doc!" sahut Rafika's.
"Have you contacted his family?"
"I didn't find a wallet in his pants pocket, Doc!"
"Oh, so! Then what are you guys gonna do? Maybe in two or three days, he's been allowed to go home."
"Let her come with me later, Doc. Until his family comes to pick him up" replied Rafika.
"That's it! You guys are good kids. Let it be later for the medical expenses, I propose to cut 50%."
"Thank you, Doc! Then excuse me for seeing it" said Rafika.
"Do you know the treatment room" again the young doctor asked.
"Not yet, Doc! We just want to ask ahead" replied Kiranti who had been silent.
"He's in jasmine room number three."
"Good, Doc. Excuse us!" Rafika immediately pulled Kiranti's hand. He was very curious about what happened to the man he helped.
The two friends walked down the hospital hallway, looking for a treatment room said by the doctor earlier. When it reached the intended place, the two of them just went in. They immediately grinned as all the eyes of the occupants of the room stared at him.
"Hehehe ... Sorry we are looking for victims drifting in the river" said Rafika clumsy.
"Oh, that's the very edge of the curtain." One of the patient's waiters pointed at a curtain that was still tightly closed.
"Thank you, Mom!" Again Rafika pulled Kiranti's hand to follow her immediately.
When the curtain was revealed, a handsome young man was sitting leaning on the head board of the bed. The young man just remained silent, listening to the sound of movement that Melati had caused. Until finally, he spoke.
"What is a doctor?" tanyakanya.
"No! I'm Rafika with my best friend Kiranti. How's he doing?"
"Better, did you help me? Please tell me who I am?"
Rafika and Kiranti looked at each other. They are also confused as to what to answer. Neither knew the man he had helped.
"Is it true, Om doesn't remember who Om really is?" asked Kiranti who continued to investigate the appearance of the man
"I don't remember it."
"No, don't be sad! I give you a name, Kang Asep. How can you not?" proposing Rafika to melt the atmosphere.
"I like it, thanks for the name."
"He's Om-om why is he called akang?" whispered Kiranti disagreed.
"But still a case. Doesn't look om-om." Rafika whispered back.
"You don't like him! We don't know his origin. You better accept Zaenal's love" Kiranti whispered.
"What are you talking about?" ask Asep.
"Nothing, Kang. Kang Asep has eaten yet?" Rafika immediately switched the conversation.
"Had been helped by the nurse."
"We'll go home first, Kang. Come here again" said Rafika.
"Yes, thank you for helping me."
Two days later, when the class hour was over, all the students of the state High School scattered out. They were so excited to set their feet out of school. The same with the two girls who ran small towards the gate.
Rafika and Kiranti are in such a hurry. They were impatient when the doctor called that Erlangga Bramantyo, the man they called Kang Asep, could be brought home. Until they decided to skip the extra tutoring and go straight to the hospital.
"Fika, have you brought the money?" ask Kiranti.
"I brought my savings to college. Grandfather said, we can't take responsibility for helping people" Rafika replied.
"Then, how's your lecture?" ask Kiranti again. He was astonished at his best friend's path of thought. Why would Rafika use her savings to pay for the hospital? They both did not know the man.
"That's how it will be. If there's a windfall, I'll go on."
During the trip they kept talking. Until it does not feel it has arrived at the stop of the city transportation. The two girls disembarked immediately after paying the fare and changed city transport to the hospital.
It didn't take long, the city transport they were riding on had already arrived in front of the hospital. The two friends immediately went down after previously paying the fare. With hasty steps, Rafika and Kiranti walked down the hospital hallway.
"Fika, are you sure he's human? Not the mermaid prince or the snake demon that incarnates humans? I wonder why he is so handsome as the princes of the land," asked Kiranti when she arrived at the man's room.
"I'm sure he's human" said Rafika who stared fixedly at the man who was being closed.
Slowly the man opened his eyes. However, it was still the dark light that he saw. The man tried to get up and sit on the bed. Soon Rafika helps men to sit comfortably.
"Thank you" said Erlangga.
"Either. Kang Asep, today the doctor said he can go home. Akang get ready first, I will take care of administration first. There's food, but I'm hungry."
Rafika took out a plastic bag of food that she had brought from the house. Her mother accidentally prepares food when Rafika says after school she will go to the hospital. He opened a rice box with cake.
"When you eat first, I'll go ahead again. This is the cake and this is the drink" Rafika said, keeping the rice box she carried in Erlangga's lap and keeping a bottle of drink next to the handsome young man.
"Fika, I'll take care of his administration. Here's money!" pinta Kiranti's.
"Are you really going forward again?" ask Rafika to make sure.
"Yes, it's okay!"
Rather than me being here to look after him, I better be the one to leave. I'm not sure he's human. It is possible that he is softened in the form of a human being, the inner Kiranti.
Rafika takes the money she keeps in her bag and gives it to Kiranti. For a moment he closed his eyes, to convince his heart that what he was doing was because of God. Moreover, Rafika always remembered her grandfather's message, to be sincere when helping people and do not expect rewards from that person.
Shortly after Kiranti's departure to take care of the administration, Rafika was sitting on a bedside chair. He kept watching the way the man ate. Which according to Rafika how to eat Erlangga looks very Elegant.
"Kang, really Akang doesn't remember anything? Or maybe, Akang prince under the river in disguise." Rafika started to make a sound
"Why do you think Akang is a prince?" the eagle stopped eating for a moment.
"Soalya Akang very handsome. Artists here pass by when they meet Akang," praises Rafika.
Erlangga smiled at what Rafika was saying, and then she said, "Is Akang that handsome? But if the handsome can't see it feels useless, can't see his own face in the mirror."
"Let me be the mirror. I just asked, my hair is neat yet? Belek I still have what not? Or can I ask if my acne is ripe yet?"
"Can pimples be cooked?"
"Haha ... Akang is leaking! When is acne cooked?"
Both of them were also caught in a crisp chat. What had felt stiff, now the atmosphere had begun to melt. Rafika had already begun to show her true nature in front of the stranger. Until finally Kiranti came after finishing taking care of administration.
"Fika, everything's been sorted out. Just go home. Crazy Fika! The hospital cost is expensive. Though taking third grade, what if VIP like in the movies. Must make a teak! Noh, abis contents of your savings," said Kiranti while returning the ATM to her best friend.
"The cheap ones go to the puskesmas, Kiran!" Rafika instantly rolled her eyes lazily. He was worried that Erlangga was offended by talking about her medical expenses in front of him.
"Sorry, it's been a hassle for you."
