JMH CHAPTER 26 - The Sign of Farewell
Flo looked at her body in front of the mirror before putting on a shirt. Almost his entire body was full of red marks when Flo wanted to talk about Kenzo's problem.
"Sure Axe will be even more angry," murmured Flo who would undo his intentions. He wants to free Gerald in his own way.
Flo quickly puts on her shirt and packs up because Flo decides to stay at the chicken shop. The apartment was already unsafe for him because of Kenzo who was stalking him.
"Are you ready?" axe asked after his wife packed up.
"A little while!" Flo brought all her stuff because it wasn't much either.
When finished, Axe carries Flo's suitcase while Flo herself carries her small bag. Lucky they came out of the apartment when Kenzo wasn't lurking.
"Robin will help you take care of the store" Axe said breaking the silence while on the way.
"I'll probably spend a lot of money to renovate, I assume that's your debt!" sahut Flo who does not want to lose.
"We can share the proceeds from the chicken shop, darling," said Axe did not want to lose.
"Your brains are mafia brains!" Flo laughed which made the atmosphere between them warm up.
Their previous quarrels like never happened, when they arrived at the tavern they joined hands when they entered.
"I want to spend some time with my wife!" said Axe with his men.
For some reason when he heard that, Flo became embarrassed himself. Surely Axe's men think of something intimate when they were both in the room even Flo was busy helping Axe pack.
"I didn't bring a lot of stuff because I was going to move around" said Axe, who saw Flo pull a lot of stuff out of the closet.
"What are you gonna do?" ask Flo later.
"Conquering a small mafia clan, I will kill its leader, loot their treasure then make his men side with me!" it was obviously Axe who made Flo regret to ask.
Just imagine making Flo's head dizzy. The girl did not want to help Axe anymore.
"Why? Are you feeling sick again, darling?" axe asked worriedly as he saw Flo's face change.
"It's okay, I'm just a little dizzy. You're saying murder as if there's no weight at all" Flo said.
Axe who had never socialized with ordinary people like Flo so forget that what was thrown from his mouth would look terrible.
"I told you my world is dark" said Axe, who sat next to his wife.
Axe then grabbed Flo's right hand and pinned a ring on his wife's ring finger which he had previously hidden in a pants pocket.
"The price is cheap but I bought it from the chicken shop so far," said Axe by wiping the ring that has been embedded.
Flo looked at the ring on her ring finger, a plain ring without diamonds. Seeing the ring, he remembered Mattew's ring. Mattew always gives his best, diamond ring with his own design, the only one in the world. In contrast to Axe, a cheap ring from the sale of chicken.
"Thank you" said Flo, who still appreciates Axe's giving. "I'll keep wearing it!"
For whatever sake, Axe wants to kiss Flo right now as a sign of their separation. But considering Larry was about to show up, he undoes his intentions.
Axe could only kiss his wife's forehead and say. "If I manage to exorcise Larry's demons, the first thing I'll do is kiss you all out!"
