The atmosphere in that place was suffocating. The air around Jesslyn seemed to disappear due to the series of questions Jesslyn's parents.

Because Jesslyn did not want to tell him who the man who impregnated her, both of Jesslyn's parents agreed to contact Andri and have the child come to Jesslyn's boarding house at that time.

"I'm sure the culprit must be Andri" Mother whispered to the Husband.

"Yes, I thought it was like that too, Mom!" Their minds are both compact.

So, Andri's been dating Jesslyn for a long time. Although reportedly they have broken up, the man remains the main target because Jesslyn's gestational age is exactly the same as the time she broke up with Andri.

A moment later ....

"Dad, Mother?" Jesslyn's eyeballs were wide-eyed as Andri's head slowly emerged from behind the door. "Did you tell Andri to come here?" growled the boy.

Jesslyn was obviously upset. Not accept the rash actions of both parents. They even immediately told Andri to come without coordinating first with Jesslyn.

The annoyed Jesslyn immediately barked. "Mother, it wasn't Andri! Didn't I say it five times? I don't have ears!"

"Let's talk to you, Jesslyn!" Dad jerking wrathfully.

"Who told you not to listen to my explanation at all! I have to tell you how many times it wasn't Andri?"

"But he's your ex-boyfriend! Who else is impregnating you if not this miserable man!" Mom's antisense is now turning to Andri. The man was still silent. Trying to adapt himself to the hot debate between Jesslyn and her family.

"It's quiet first! We better ask the guy directly mumpung is here." Jesslyn's father took the middle ground. The old man looked at Andri. His face was deliberately made serious. Intentionally so that Andri was afraid and finally dared to tell the truth.

"Rumi said my daughter Jesslyn was three months pregnant. So we panicked and needed clarity on who the father of the child was. Frankly, we told you to come here not because we wanted to accuse you, but we just wanted to make sure you were the man who impregnated my daughter Jesslyn?" ask Dad.

Andri took a moment to look at Jesslyn before replying. Then he looked at Mom and Dad Jesslyn again.

"Yes, I impregnated him" Andri said without breathing at all.

"Andriy!" Jesslyn reflexively yells. He did not expect that Andri would say such a crazy thing.

One slap floated on Andri's cheek. The man knew what was going to happen after he said yes, so he was not surprised when his cheek was slapped by Jesslyn's father.

"How dare you impregnate my daughter! Where's your promise to keep Jesslyn away from us, Andri? Where's?" Dad's gaze grew sharper. Filled with hatred and aura was extremely gripping.

"Andri! You don't nag! You are not the father of the baby I bear!" jesslyn.

This left both of his parents confused. Andri said yes, while Jesslyn said no.

"Don't defend the wrong Jesslyn!" timpal. The middle-aged woman thought that Jesslyn had deliberately not confessed so that Andri would be protected from trouble.

"Your baby needs Dad, and you need to get married!" mother said again.

This is what Andri was waiting for. In order to get Jesslyn back, the man is willing to make up stories and confess things he never did at all.

"Dad and Mom just relax! I'll take responsibility. I'm going to tell my mom and dad that they're going to propose to Jesslyn right away" the man said.

"Andri!" For the second time Jesslyn shouted. I don't know what's on Andri's mind right now, which Jesslyn obviously doesn't like the kid's actions.

"Because Andri has admitted, now we better go home, Mom! You can't stay in this place for long. Maybe soon I will kill people if I stay longer" said Dad while glancing at Andri. The man was tickled. Andri turned her gaze wherever she did not see Jesslyn's father.

"Yes already! Tomorrow night we wait for your presence and your parents" Mom said.

"Mom!" Jesslyn pulled a pinch of her mother's clothes. The girl's eyes were already teary because she could not face this problem.

"It wasn't Andri, Mom! Please just trust me this time," said the girl. This time he was really begging.

"You've let us down Jesslyn. How can we trust you?" said Mother.

"That's Jesslyn. You better reflect on all your actions. Andri has acknowledged and is willing to take responsibility!" Dad chimed in with sarcastic language.

That made Jesslyn worse. It felt like it was going berserk, but its eyes were a little sleepy.

Jesslyn was only able to cry as her parents slowly moved away from the one-bedroom. Now in the room there is only her and Andri left.
