The Mother of Monsters
19. Queen

Roland woke up from his sleep and found the door was in one of the hotel's janars. The old man was very panicked to fear that the monsters of the text had locked him up.

“I intend to leave when the monsters are exhausted, but I just overslept.” Roland was angry at himself for being too careless.

Realizing that there was no point in regretting what had happened, the old man immediately got out of bed and checked the door to see if it was locked or not.

Ccr! The door opens easily which indicates that from the beginning the door is not locked. Roland tried to look outside, but all he found was an empty room. Moments later another door opened and a survivor she knew was seen coming out of it.

“Mr Roland, you're in the next room turns out.” the survivor looks so relieved, it looks like he's also scared if he's imprisoned by the monsters inside the hotel.

“What happened, why am I suddenly in a hotel room?.” asked Roland.

“If ask me, I myself do not know what really happened.”

“Cih.” Roland was annoyed that there was no information he could get from his partner.

Moments later each door opened and people came out. Now the total is 10 humans. Roland realized that seven of them were comrades fighting alongside him on the roof of the hotel, while the other three people introduced themselves as guards from the refugee area.

The ten people immediately prepared to leave the hotel, including Roland who eventually chose to evacuate rather than stay in the monster hotel. Another reason is the limited food supply.

“Maybe soon they will come with some other humans. They must be interested in the city that we have cleaned.” this time the voice of a young man who spoke.

“Therefore you must protect this city when mother goes.” said a Red-haired woman.

“Ah right, before mom leaves town. Maybe you need a new name, my old Nana, Shintia knows too much. It is a relic of the dark past.”

The two looked at each other. They had never known the name of the woman who had given birth to them.
