Angel's tender grip on her fingers made Daniel wake up that afternoon. Slowly Daniel opened his eyes, trying to gather his consciousness, and when he finally opened his eyes made Daniel jerk. He saw Angel's worried face immediately greet his eyes.
Only this time he felt he did not like to meet Angel, although he missed half to death with his wife and hoped that his wife was by his side but Daniel did not like Angel at all to see his weak side. Daniel does not like to be seen as someone who can not be relied upon by his loved ones, especially with Angel someone who ranks top in his heart shifts the position of mama Helena.
" How are you doing ? do you still feel pain ?" ask Angel with her finger gesture.
Instead of answering his wife's question, Daniel's eyes looked instead for the figure of his assistant, as soon as he found the figure of Bram standing upright at the end of his nursery bed Daniel immediately stared intently at Bram.
" You I fired !" furious Daniel hoarse.
Angel snorted and rolled her eyes lazily hearing Daniel's words. She had thought her husband's assistant was too big when she told him about Daniel, but when she saw Daniel's sudden cold attitude towards her as before, Angel realized that what Bram said was not exaggerated.
" Nonsense, don't you listen to Bram, you won't be fired I'll make sure of that. If you don't mind can you and Sarah's assistant tell the doctor that my husband is conscious ?" cue Angel with a smile.
Bram felt awry, forced to nod and step away leaving his young master and his wife both in the nursery.
Daniel's eyes closed again as Angel looked back at her husband. Angel exhaled, on the one hand she was annoyed to see the childish nature of her husband but on the other hand she felt sorry for Daniel. Angel looked at Daniel, the man had everything money, power, a beautiful face,perfect physicality but who would have thought he would prefer to hide all his pain and just want to share it with his versatile assistant.
Recalling Daniel's past makes Angel's annoyance subside. Gently Angel reached out her hand touching Daniel's forehead slowly, Daniel re-opened his eyes as Angel's hand touched his forehead. He glanced at Angel before closing his eyes.
" You stole me home when I just got here to see your condition ? you just woke up after an appendectomy and you said you were okay ? It's true that you're the one, even your face is still pale."

Daniel was silent at the signal of his wife's fingers that were already looking at him with annoyance. Actually, he felt anxious to see Angel who had glared at him but again his prestige held him back from kissing his wife. The fact that he had undergone an appendectomy and his wife saw his weakest side hurt his ego, in Daniel's heart was self-deprecating. It felt like he had never felt this weak before and he really hated this feeling of helplessness. Daniel could only remain silent while Angel still gently stroked his head.
" Go home" said Daniel without opening his eyes.
Angel's hand stopped stroking Daniel's head. Now Angel's hands touched Daniel's cheeks and forced Daniel to open his eyes to look at his face.
" Once again you throw me out, I assume you're driving me out of your life, not just out of this nursery !" threaten Angel with force.
