Still imagining the past
Daniel recalled the conversation with his father in his study.
" You know for yourself that if you can figure out everything, it means that you can guess the reason behind all this senseless action" Andrew said seriously. Daniel looks at the face of his father who suddenly becomes serious and he knows for sure his father does know the motive behind his actions on Angel. But Daniel does not want to admit that he is still imagining the same past and has not been able to move forward, he still hates someone who has incised a wound in his heart.
"What does papa mean? I don't understand"
"No need to pretend." Andrew let out a long sigh and rubbed his face, Andrew knew his son more than anyone he had witnessed Daniel born to this kind of manhood. So he knew that Daniel was still imagined by the past more precisely affected by the wounds he received as a child, where Andrew also took over for the suffering experienced by his son.
"Papa can't force you to forget the painful past, papa also felt sorry that he could not prevent you from getting the wound but trust me, he always prayed that you could continue to move towards the future. Papa doesn't want you to regret having vented your anger over the past on an innocent girl who has nothing wrong with you, quickly find Angel or you will have trouble looking for her" Andrew said, rising to his feet.
Before Andrew left the room he said "Let not the past grudges blind you to the future."
Daniel tightened his jaw and sighed violently and relaxed his body leaning against the sofa. He closed his eyes trying to calm down but what happened was Daniel remembered yesterday.
Daniel sits on a single sofa in one of the rooms, Thomas and Bram, Daniel's all-round assistant, behind him. Daniel looked at some of the people around at the boarding house and the mother of the hostel who yesterday acted rudely to Angel who was now kneeling before him. Their bodies trembled violently as if they were going to feel intimidation from Daniel that they had never felt at all.
"I asked you once again, what have you done to Angel ?" daniel asked in a low voice but the aura inside the room was gripping, even Thomas and Bram who had no fault whatsoever felt fear especially with the person who knelt before them who clearly made a mistake.
This afternoon arrived Daniel's entourage broke into a 4-story house that was used as a special boarding business for the princess who had been running Bu Hani *and hold him along with some people around his boarding place.
Especially now that Daniel himself began to interrogate them, Daniel's patience evaporated when he did not get an answer to the question he gave. "Is Angel's whisper contagious to all of you ? Is it possible that you normal people want to have the same condition as Angel ? maybe you guys don't know that I'm more than capable of making you guys no longer talk."
Daniel examines the state of the room where Angel once lived, he saw a photo of Angel hanging on the wall beside his bed and what attracted his attention was a beautiful photo of Angel while wearing a high school uniform and also a daily photo of Angel while on campus and also some magazine cutouts that contain news about a Daniel Wiratama framed in the frame
