THE NANNY

THE NANNY
181. Who Dares to Inflict on the Syahputra Family

Andina carried Athaya into her arms. Stabbed his back that was shaken because the firstborn was sobbing. There was a heart-scratching pain of hearing a sobbing for the first time in the lifetime he took care of the son. Implied look disappointed, hurt, sad, when he looked in both beads brown eyes.

"Sister is Mama's child-until whenever remains Mama's child." Andina began to say as she stroked her hair after Athaya could no longer be heard sobbing.

Athaya withdrew from the arms of her mother. His arms were used to wipe the wet corners of the eyes. "Mama hasn't answered. Am I not my mother's child?" he said in a hoarse voice while turning his face in the opposite direction.

Andina closed her eyes. Heavy decisions must be made. Though he knew all this time Athaya always prides her as the best mama on her school friends. He and Arya had agreed to prepare the right time to tell Athaya who her real mama was. But not now. Not at a child's age.

"Sister, look at Mama-here-" Andina turned the elder's shoulder to face him. "Mama wants a story, but while eating yes!"

Athaya. "No laper."

"The mother who bribed ya. Like I used to be a little brother at the age of Al, right mom likes bribe brother in shophouse. Sometimes you come to the shophouse with either papi, or Oma, or onty Marisa. Remember you?!" While taking the dinner plate at the table, Andina invites Athaya to remember her childhood.

"No crap, Ma."

"Hm, it's only natural not to remember. Brother was not 2 years old."

Andina had Athaya recite the prayer before she began to bribe him. One mouthful began to enter the mouth of the child who was sulking again.

"Mama was not the one who gave birth to Athaya's sister. But it's not important. Mother's sister is still Mama's son."

"Mama is very affectionate with her brother from childhood until now and until later."

Athaya stopped her chewing, turned to look straight at Andin's mother's face without a word.

"Sister's biological mother died. Maybe you don't remember either?!"

I don't remember because I was never close.

Athaya shook weakly.

"Now what makes you sad, hmm?" andina said without stopping to feed.

"That auntie said, stepmom likes evil like in soap operas. Mama's only good while she's gonna turn evil." Adu Athaya with a gloomy face again.

"Astagfirullah--" Andina shook her head in disbelief that someone would be inciting in such a way.

"If anyone who talks likes to vilify others, you don't be easy to believe. That person could be jealous."

"Now try to remember, all this time have you been angry sister?"

"No." Athaya answered confidently. "Mama always loved and was patient with me."

Andina gives a drink as a cover meal that has been exhausted without rest.

"Keep brother believes that mama will turn into a bad mama?"

"No, Ma. But I had a nightmare, Mama same Lala same Al go far not invite me. I screamed sobbing but Mama was indifferent." Athaya wiped again the corner of the eye that suddenly stagnated.

Andina clasped Athaya's shoulders, rubbing her black hair to give her a calm, warm mother's love. He continued to give positive suggestions with encouraging words, to eliminate negative suggestions that had entered Athaya's mind so that it was carried into the dream. Athaya sleeps with Lala and Al in her room. But Athaya refused.

Andina decides to accompany Athaya to sleep while telling her about her childhood. How Athaya always tacked on him is not only a small time but until now still depend on him. That made Athaya laugh and hide her face behind a pillow.

Andina slowly got out of bed after making sure Athaya was sound. Once out of the room, he passed Lala who followed him with a sleepy face.

"How long is it in my sister's room." Lala sulked along with a mouth that evaporated.

"Nemenin was bobo's sister. Come on now Lala's the bobo. Brush your teeth first!"

"You're bobo with Mama, Ma!"

Andina nodded. He told Lala to come to his room when she finished brushing her teeth. Below, Al appears to have fallen asleep on the sofa accompanied by Ceu Edoh.

"Ceu, please carry her to the room!"

"Mango, Neng."

Arya had made a video call but she reject and reply to send a message.

"I'll call back, wait for the kids to sleep."

Now that all her children were sound, Andina chose to go to Arya's work room to contact her husband. Just called, video call directly connected. With a bright face, Arya appeared full of smiles filled the screen.

"Darling, what's wrong?" Arya suddenly loosened the pull of her lips for the sake of looking at the listless Andina. Not as usual.

"There's trouble at home, Pih." Andina complained without letting go of the gaze filled with longing ripples. He really needs Arya's presence right now.

"Darling, what's wrong? Hurry up and say." Arya looked impatient.

"Yesterday there was news from the school that Athaya withdrew from the race. I haven't told Papi because I tried to seduce him again, but I didn't budge with his decision. Also didn't tell me why."

"So morning I went to school to apologize to the principal and his homeroom teacher for deciding unilaterally when it was another week."

Arya listened carefully to all Andina's stories about people who intimidate up to the current state of Athaya's psychology.

"I'll be home tomorrow. This problem cannot be allowed to."

If Arya had said firmly with serious mimicry, she did not dare to refute. It has become an indisputable order.

Andina lay to the very side blocking Al who was sleeping irregularly. She could not immediately sleep after talking at length with her husband. His mind is still filled with question marks about who has made Athaya turned moody and quiet.Tak think the tranquility of his home life disturbed by outsiders.

****

Andina suddenly woke up from her sleep. There was restlessness surrounding his heart and the thought of Athaya. The clock shows at 3 am. He rushed out of the room and up the stairs to Athaya's room.

"Mama--"

"Mama--"

He immediately felt Athaya's forehead as he watched her sleep agitated and muttered. His lips are getting red. "Oh my God, Brother." He was surprised to feel the heat.

By trying to stay calm, Andina headed for the P3K box to pull out the thermometer and paracetamol that were always available.

"What else?" Bi Idah appeared in the kitchen to surprise Andina who was preparing a container to compress.

"Athaya's hot, Bi."

"Please compressin first brother ya bi. I'm gonna make some oat porridge first." Andina handed a container filled with water to bi Idah.

"The little towel is in the bed."

Bi Idah nodded. Soon he left the kitchen.

Andina did not close her eyes until the morning. He continued to check Athaya's body temperature which was originally 39.5°C now dropped to 38°C, making him a little relieved.

"Lala, go to school by herself. Sister can't go to school, get a fever."

"Well, no exclamation there's no sister." LaA looked disappointed. "Lala holiday yes Ma, want to nemenin brother in the room. Want to bacain a funny fairy tale let brother recover quickly." Her request was full of hope that the mother would grant.

Andina shakes. "Lala can't skip. Let Mama take care of sister. Going home to school." He also drove Lala up to the terrace and warned Mr. Asep to keep an eye on him to make sure Lala entered his class.

From the direction of the gate that was open after the car driven by Mr. Asep came out, it appeared Mama Rita and Papa Roby entered by pedaling a bicycle. Looks like just finished gowes.

"Mama saw only Lala in the car. Athaya's not in school?" Mama wanted to make sure she saw him because she only saw Lala when she opened the window to wave her hand.

"Yes Ma. Athaya fever. I've called the homeroom teacher, let's get sick." Andina took Mama and Papa to the dinner table for breakfast.

"The impression there's panda eyes, lack of sleep apparently." Mama observed the pale face of her daughter-in-law with a black circumference under her eyes. Andina just smiled thinly.

"Ma, Pa, there's a problem with Athaya." Andina opened the conversation seriously after seeing her in-laws finish eating.

"What's up, baby?" Mama seemed enthusiastic about responding to her favorite daughter-in-law.

The focus of the three was distracted looking at Safa who came with a panicked face.

"A Iky and Arya took off. What's the matter, beb?!" Safa was curious because Rikcy suddenly told her she was coming home today from what should be tomorrow afternoon. Said there was an Aryan family problem.

Andina told in front of all the events that happened to Athaya, chronologically from the beginning until the impact now. Mama looked furious, Papa remained calm, Safa rubbed Andina's back, after hearing the whole story.

"Who dares to harass the family of Shahputra. I have to face Mama!" Mama's chest seemed to rise and fall quickly because it held in anger. Didn't accept his granddaughter being cheated especially in a way that he thought had no conscience.

"Pa, we know almost all Bandung figures and entrepreneurs. If it's one of their families, Mama won't be disinclined. You have to teach people a lesson."

"Quiet, Ma." Papa clasped Mama's shoulder. "Do not act when the heart is hot. Let's wait for Arya to come home."

"Athaya has no idea what her name is?!" Papa looked straight at Andina who was sitting opposite him.

Andina shakes. "Athaya only knows its features, Pa. Said the aunt was tall and fat, her hair was short, it was red and purple."

Mama and Papa went up to Athaya's room followed by Andina and Safa behind her with porridge. Athaya opened her eyes when the four entered the room.

"Uluuuhh oma's granddaughter why this---" Mama put on a normal attitude as if she did not know what had happened to her grandson. He felt Athaya's sweaty forehead and felt her warm temperature.

Athaya just smiled shyly, then swept a glance at everyone who was in her room. He looked surprised to see a wall clock that showed 7:30.

"Mama, I'm bad luck." Athaya wakes up and coughes in panic, feeling too late for school.

"Today, no school. Sister is hot. Mama called Bu Puspa earlier." Andina sat down by Athaya's side to feed the porridge.

"Let's go baby, eat a lot to get well." Oma encouraged her half-reliant granddaughter to eat. Bitter said. "Later off school, Oma took all the grandchildren to the Safari Park. Want ya?!"

Athaya nodded.

"Ajakin is also Lala's friend. Who the hell is the name---" Oma Rita seemed to think by tapping her fingers at the temple. "The name is like a brand of brownies that deh," he continued with a wrinkled forehead.

"Name Amanda." Athaya answered quickly. "Oma mah, beautiful as an Arab is called brownies" he continued, giggling to feel funny with his oma term.

There were smiles of relief emanating from Andina's face, Safa and Papa saw Athaya laughing as Mama Rita continued to be funny as she continued to discuss the relationship of brownies and Manda are both sweet.
