The Not A Dream Marriage

The Not A Dream Marriage
Section 35 (HEMPAS)

“Quite Mr. Gio.” Reza, who did not accept Gio's treatment, pulled Salsa's other arm.

Salsa was confused as to how she should cope with these two men. Salsa wants to take Reza's grip off and go with Gio but that's impossible, she's afraid her choice will hurt Reza.

However, if he let go of Gio Salsa's hand knows how his boss will be angry, especially it seems Gio already knows the point of their problems both.

Adam, help me. Salsa's eyes signaled help to Adam, but Adam was silent and could do little for him.

Slowly Salsa let go of Reza's grasp and chose to go with Gio.

“I'm sorry Ja.” In her heart, Salsa feels her own pain with her choice, but if she chooses to remain with Reza her wounds will never heal.

“Ca,” Reza's voice calls out the name of a lover who slowly takes off his hand. As if not believing in his lover's decision. How can Salsa choose to go with others and ignore her who has been struggling for three years.

Gio pulls Salsa's arm and forces her to leave an event that no longer matters. Gio did not let Salsa turn to Reza who was still staring at their departure with pushy eyes.

Outside the building Salsa tried to let go of Gio's grasp violently. Letting go of Reza doesn't mean he's choosing to go with Gio, who's been branded the most annoying guy.

“Release!” Salsa tries to ask Gio to let go. But Gio did not mengubris Salsa words he actually hardened the grip of his hand.

Salsa grimaced in pain, what exactly did Gio want? His behavior really makes Salsa more furious.

“What like this thank you to me for freeing you from a ba*ingan guy like Reza?”

Apparently Gio needs a thank you from Salsa because he feels like a hero who has saved Salsa's life.

Whahuh? B*job? Salsa is like not accepting the word b*ingan in the words of Gio. Salsa knew Rezanya, however, even though these words are appropriate right now in Reza's arms.

“Thank you Mr. Gio for his help I hope you can let go of my hand.” Salsa tried to put on a face as sweet as possible. It was unexpected that it managed to make Gio melt and release his hand. After being felt safe Salsa again expressed her frustration towards the crazy boss who had dared to come without him to invite and mess up the show.

Salsa wanted to go where she wanted to go without anyone present. Let him just spill his own frustration, disappointment and anger without sharing it with those around him. He did not contact Anna because he did not want to ruin the happy day before his departure to the Netherlands.

Reza was still glued in the room, with all the anxiety he wanted to reveal. Reza still owes an explanation to both Salsa's parents. Why would Salsa be able to easily cancel her wedding? Of course, there are all good reasons, considering that Reza's marriage was the marriage she had dreamed of.

Reza ruffled her hair in frustration, why did the trouble come when the happy day was about to come? What do people say about their failed marriage? Reza could not figure out why someone else was so cruel to hurt his girl. Ruining her girl's dream is akin to killing Reza's hope of coexisting with Salsa.

Reza believes Salsa will definitely forgive him and give him a second chance. Marriage is only a matter of weeks. Let her be this selfish, the marriage will still take place even though a thousand times Salsa asked her to cancel.

The tears that he never shed as a man have now flowed profusely, tears that describe a thousand wounds about the future he will have.

Salsa walked down the beach with bare feet, the pain of the piercing pebbles not as sad as the wounds Rezanya had made. Still wearing peach-colored kebaya does not make his body cold from the sea breeze blowing on land. Salsa still looked at the expanse of the sea, although to be honest she was still afraid to step her foot on the sand because it was only alone but the fear was less and less with the pain of the night getting raining.

The future, the wedding of dreams and the days he had spent with Reza were instantaneous.

The sea water shook his feet, Salsa's body shook again. The fear and trauma are back.

He couldn't move his legs that felt like they were sinking. His throbbing head ached giving rise to shadows from the past that he did not want to remember at all. Salsa held his head, his body was already limp and would stagger to fall on the sand. His eyes were closed even though he was still half conscious. He felt something different, no pain from falling. He felt something was holding his body. After feeling calm slowly Salsa ventured to open her eyes, vaguely seen one sketch of the face that increasingly made her hurt.

*********

Gio and Adam put their sense of hearing wide. They were eavesdropping on a conversation that looked tense.

Gio was unable to stem his emotions when he saw the woman he knew was trying to endure his pain. He knew that today Salsa would be heartbroken. For him to see the woman angry at him is better than to see her crying because she was hurt by a man.

Adam tried his hardest to keep his superiors from meeting and listened to their conversation. In vain for Adam's efforts, Gio keeps going with a flash of hatred that is becoming more and more so.

“Afsheena, stop trying to look tough. I beg!”
