KUG CHAPTER 13

(Summa POV)

I gulped down my saliva and looked at the expression of Arya and the white cat who were now on the table. They did not respond to my jokes and remained flat-faced.

I was really surprised when I heard what Arya mentioned, but now everything feels more reasonable. 

It was only fitting that when Arya entered, the Jinns were not too noisy and showed her respect. They seemed not to want to interrupt our conversation, even the women who were usually coquettish were sitting sweet like school students.

It seemed like they all knew Arya and the white cat. 

I began to feel nervous and achy at having to endure the stiff smile that I started to maintain again. But the corner of my lips twitched in twitch as the Jinns around began to set all their sights on me.

'Come on. I'm not a woman who needs this kind of attention..'

The smile that Arya gave me woke up and felt ashamed for acting like this. Isn't he much younger than me?

He must be just like me who can see them and he seems to have a special position because the Jinns respect him.

"Do you interact with them every day?" I tried asking Arya to get rid of this nervousness of mine.

I should be able to calm down and listen to the explanation he gave first.

I've never told my skills to my friends, but maybe it's time I could share a story with someone who has the same abilities.

"Hm.. Yeah, I've been used to it since I was a kid and I don't think they're that much different from humans. Just look at them, they chat, gossip, and have their own activities."

Arya frowned and her words made the Jinns laugh in embarrassment and continued what they did before.

It seems that this is real and not my hallucination. 

I let out a long sigh and began to think whether I should accept this job or not.

"Just calm. Our office is not a shaman's office and your job will only take care of a few documents. We do not have a special position and are actually very different from office activities in general."

"We are more like an organization and very free in regulation. You can think before you make your decision."

"Picking a job is important, so I'm not going to force you. Not everyone wants anything to do with the supernatural, so I will respect your decision."

"Can I find out more about work in your office? Or if you don't mind, can you see how it works?"

I relaxed and talked closer to him. His eyes were dangerous, as if he could know and understand who I really was.

Although I always try to ignore the existence of Jin around me, but seeing the situation of the Jinns around here does not make me too disturbed.

Maybe this job can give me a new experience and eliminate my monotonous daily life.

Why did Arya take me into this lonely house?.

After Arya says that I can visit her office, I follow Arya and Maja who are actually Jin in the form of a white tiger.

As I felt Arya's slight touch lift up my chin, I began to slowly advance my lips but nothing happened. No touching my lips, what happened? Is Arya hesitating?

I opened my eyes slowly and looked at Arya who was smiling stiffly, but now I feel that the atmosphere around me feels different from before.

The sound of whispers coming from the Jin who arrived around us made me surprised. Why is this place so crowded? Wasn't the atmosphere earlier so much different?

Arya apologized while smiling stiffly, but the laughter and jokes of the Jin people around me still sounded in my ears.
