Chapter 50: Student Dormitory

After I got out of the lobby carrying my stuff. I saw Charles, Chloe and Noa waiting for me at the fountain.

"That's Rid," said Chloe.

"Have you brought all your things?" asked Charles.

"Yes, sorry to keep you waiting so long,* I said.

"Look down, not too long either. Let's head for the dorm. If not the wrong dormitory to the right, yes?" said Noa.

"Yes right, for the dormitory the students are on the right after coming out of the lobby. And for those staying at the guest dormitory, they headed left after exiting the lobby. That's what the supervisor told me before," said Charles.

We immediately walked to the dormitory. Along the way, many other prospective students were walking towards the dormitory as well after dinner from the canteen. After a while of walking, we could see a row of buildings that were in front of us. It was the dormitory for the students of San Fulgen Akademiya.

"Well, there are a lot of buildings, too" said Chloe.

I saw the dorm building in front of me. The dormitory has 5 floors and each floor has 8 doors which means that on each floor there are 8 rooms for students. So in each building there are 40 rooms for students. But in the back of the dorm I saw. There are 4 buildings of the same size. If calculated total means there are 5 buildings with a total of 200 rooms. Looks like those 5 dorms were meant for us.

In addition to the back, beside it there are also 3 more buildings that are model lined with the same as our dormitory. Looks like that dorm has another school year.

There is a fence surrounding 5 dormitories for our school year, another school year dormitory is also surrounded by a fence. Looks like it's to separate the dormitory for the school year from one school year to the other.

"It's like a bunk house" I said.

We soon entered our dormitory fence. There is a supervisor who seems to be in charge of telling prospective students where their room is. I approached the supervisor.

"Excuse me superintendent, is it true that this building is a dormitory for new students?" I said to confirm.

Though I already know that this building is for new students, but it never hurts to confirm it.

"Yes it's true this dormitory is for new students. If it's not wrong you're Rid Archie yes?" said the supervisor.

Again, the supervisor knew my name was the same as the supervisor in the lobby.

"Yes that's right" the supervisor said.

"In addition there is a princess Chloe and Prince Charles as well, it's an honor to meet you both" the supervisor said.

"E-eh," said the surprised Chloe.

"Already, it's the supervisor. We are princes and princesses, but now we are students in this academy. So there's no need to behave like that" Charles said.

"About that, we want to know where our buildings and rooms are located" I said.

"Markets and shops in the academy ? why can there be a market in this academy, I don't bring money to this academy" Noa said.

"Of course there is a market because it is to buy your basic necessities such as food. Do you think you're just gonna eat for free in the cafeteria ? Indeed you will still get free food in the cafeteria but that's when you study and it's just for lunch. So the rest of you prepare your own food or buy it. For the money, this Academy will give you an allowance every month as an appreciation because you managed to enter this academy. The money will continue to be given every month until you graduate or are expelled for a problem. The money can be used to buy groceries, finished food, casual clothing or other necessities. Because as long as you study here you can't get out of this academy complex, so the money is to support you all along here.
