Chapter 53: Getting Around the Academy

"You two are here" said the man.

We looked back and it turned out it was Noa and there was Chloe too. They both wear casual clothes.

"Why didn't you say you wanted to go for a morning walk?" said Noa.

"I initially wanted to walk alone in the morning and then I met Charles when I came out of my room, so I took him along. I thought you and Chloe were still sleeping, so I didn't feel good knocking on your door" I said.

"So I ran away with Charles. And now I feel hungry because I haven't had breakfast. So I wanted to go to the cafeteria first to ask if I was still providing free food or not" I said.

We went into the lobby to go to the cafeteria. In the lobby, we met with one of the supervisors there. I asked the supervisor if the cafeteria still provided free meals for new students. Then the supervisor said that free food is still provided for new students until later tonight because tomorrow the new students have officially started studying at the academy and free food in the cafeteria is only provided when just have lunch. After asking the supervisor, we headed to the cafeteria for breakfast.

After breakfast, we decided to take the morning walk back. We plan to tour the back area of the academy. We immediately left the cafeteria and headed to the lobby to get out. After exiting the lobby, we chose to turn right and pass through the students' dormitory to go to the shops and markets that are at the end of the road from the dormitory. We continued walking through the dormitory buildings. Every now and then we looked towards the dormitory building of the previous year. Logically, those occupying the building are our seniors. We also walked back to the shops and markets at the end of the street to the left of the dormitory. After a while of walking, we also saw many buildings lined up in front which was likely an academy shop. Many people were there who were likely to be students who were shopping. We went into the shopping complex and looked at what goods were being traded. There are clothes, utensils, foodstuffs such as meat and vegetables and others. There are also those who sell finished food. We stopped at the bakery.

"Do you want to buy that bread Rid ? I'll buy it if you want" said Charles.

"Noa how ? do you want?" asked Charles.

"Yes, if offered anyway, I might refuse" said Noa.

Noa and Charles bought the bread. When I looked towards Chloe. I saw him holding 2 loaves of bread in his hand while eating 1 loaf of bread.

"Since when did you buy that bread Chloe?" I asked.

"Just now" replied Chloe.

I didn't even see him buy that bread. He had breakfast and now he had two more loaves. I wanted to say that but it doesn't seem good to talk about it.

"Do you want to, Rid?," asked Chloe while thrusting another 1 loaf in her hand.

"No need" I said.

At that moment, I suddenly felt like I was being watched. This feeling was the same as I felt in the third exam before. But I prefer to remain calm and not act excessively in response to that.

After Charles and Noa had bought bread, we left the shopping complex and intended to go to the park behind the academy. When it came to the back of the academy, as the previous supervisor had said, there was a truly vast garden. In the park there are many flowers and plants, there is also a fountain and pond in the middle of the park.

"What a beauty," said Chloe.

Chloe looked fascinated by the park.

"It looks like this is going to be my favorite place during my time at this academy" Chloe said.

After a while in the park, we continued walking around and the next destination went to the academy lake which was behind the park. Behind the park there are 1 road that connects this park with the academy lake. Around this road there are large trees that can be said that this is the academy forest. We continued walking down that road and until we finally reached the end of the road. You can also see the San Fulgen Academy. This lake is so big. Many are fishing or just playing water in the lake.

"I'm not surprised if for example the students in this academy can feel at home even though they can't go home. There are a lot of good places in this academy" I said.

"You're right, Rid" said Charles.

"Let's go around, I also want to play water" said Chloe.

"If only I had a fishing rod, I would also like to fish" Noa said.

We also walked closer to the lake. However, I sensed that someone was watching me again here. Not only in the shopping complex and in the park, even in this lake I am being watched. Because I was curious about his purpose, I finally intended to find him.

"The three of you go around the lake first, I want to go back to the dorm first. I want to take something," I said.

"No, I'll be back soon" I said.

I walked back to the link between the park and the lake. It just so happened that no one else passed by. I went out of the way and entered the forest. I walked towards the person watching me. I finally got to where I was but no one was there.

After that, a woman with black hair appeared from behind a tree. The woman was not too old, it seemed to be 30 years old. And his face felt familiar.

"I didn't think you knew you were being watched. By the way, this is our first meeting. My name is Karina Stella. I am the Head of San Fulgen Akademiya Academy" the woman said.
