Chapter 21 ~ Miss Beautiful

Shanum is currently having lunch with Kevin at the company cafeteria. Since then Shanum just lowered his head while enjoying his lunch without saying anything to Kevin.

Likewise with Kevin who had been thinking about something since. Especially when entering the CEO's room to tell Nabil that the meeting will be advanced to half-hour. Kevin looked with his own eyes as Nabil's body position with Shanum was very close and the two of them stared at each other with a distance that was almost eroded. I don't know what they're gonna do when Kevin doesn't get into the CEO's room.

Kevin has often heard the scandal made by his superiors that even all employees also know. They understand, in addition to Nabil's handsome face and always attract the attention of women, Nabil is also famous playboy in the eyes of his employees.

Then Kevin also felt during Shanum's presence as Nabil's assistant, the man had rarely or almost never the arrival of beautiful women to his office. “Iya, Vin?” shanum replied looking up at Kevin who was still holding the spoon.

“Do you feel at home while working as an assistant to Mr Nabil?”

“Why did you ask me that?” Shanum asked confusedly.

Actually Shanum avoided Kevin from asking about Nabil. Moreover, Kevin had caught himself alone with Nabil in a position that is very unnatural for an assistant with his boss.

“Nothing. I'm just worried if something happens to you and Mr. Nabil. But that's not possible either, because you two are cousins right?”

Shanum nodded with a smile at Kevin so that the man did not have any thoughts. Although it is true that he is Nabil's cousin, but unbeknownst to the people they both have been involved in a scandal.

Kevin returns to his usual attitude towards Shanum after having suspected him. She was slightly relieved after remembering that Shanum and Nabil had a sibling relationship.

After lunch, the two of them returned to his room. Kevin and Shanum go hand in hand with occasional casual talking.

“Happy working again! Don't forget later home office we hang out first as usual.” Kevin said as Shanum stood in front of the door.

“Iya. thanks for the deal.” Shanum replied smiling faintly at Kevin.

“Ehm!”

The sound of darkness from behind made Shanum and Kevin shocked. It turned out to be Nabil. The man looked coldly at Shanum who had just turned his head. While Kevin went straight into his room ignoring Nabil and Shanum.

Shanum took a few steps back to let Nabil in first while bowing respectfully. He thought Nabil's dull voice had just come because he wanted to get into his room but was blocked by him still talking to Kevin.

Nabil just walked into his room feeling very upset. Again he did not like when he saw Shanum's closeness with Kevin. Moreover, it was Kevin who thwarted his intentions when he wanted to kiss Shanum's lips.

Nabil's clients happen to want meetings at the company rather than outside. And here are the four of them now.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Nabil. I can finally work with you. Hopefully our cooperation can run smoothly until our project succeeds.” Said Mr. Vincent.

“Good afternoon too Mr. Vincent. I am also very happy to be working with your company.” Nabil is friendly.

Nabil began giving Mr. Vincent some files to let him study them for a while before he explained some important things about the big project.

While Shanum and Mr. Vincent's assistant are in charge of noting the important things that will be discussed by the two big bosses later, but when Nabil conveyed some things attached to the file held by Mr. Vincent, he said, the thirty-year-old man did not focus on Nabil's explanation. Because right now his gaze was on the most beautiful woman in the room, Shanum.

“Ehm, is there anything you don't understand, Mr Vincent?” nabil asked withstanding his frustration, because he had spoken at length, but his client was focused on seeing Shanum.

“Already, Mr. Nabil. If you may know, is the beautiful Miss your assistant?” ask Mr. Vincent out of the subject.

“Clearly, Sir. If not an assistant, why do I ask him to accompany meeting.” Nabil answered with a face that held back his annoyance.

“You are indeed very good at finding assistants. Very pretty and honest I am very interested in Miss..?”.

“Shanum.” Sahut Shanum who got a look from Mr. Vincent as if he was asking his name.

“A very pretty name. As beautiful as the people.” Praise Mr. Vincent for ignoring Nabil's gaze.

Nabil felt the situation was not conducive anymore.he had also heard a little more news about his client who was eager to change partners. Nabil wouldn't let his client get Shanum's attention.

“Good. This meeting was enough. You also know what I just explained. For the next meeting, let me set the schedule later.” Nabil's decision leaves Mr Vincent disappointed.
