The President's Contract Wife

The President's Contract Wife
Chapter 49: The Right to be Loved

Devan's car stopped in front of the orphanage. Ella was a little surprised, but Devan brought her back to the home. Guessing if Devan is still in doubt to choose his decision. Devan saw his watch starting at 18:30 p.m. It's time for Devan to prepare a surprise for Ella.

Devan got out of the car and circled the car towards the other car door. Devan opened the car door and reached out to Ella.

"Come here, Ella," said Devan, smiling. Ella looked up and grabbed Devan's hand and smiled slightly. But, before entering the parlor, Devan closed Ella's eyes with a cloth.

"Eh, what's the matter, sir?" Ella touched the blindfold.

"You shut up, I have a surprise for you" said Devan, grabbing Ella's hand and starting to lead her into the orphanage.

"Eh, what surprise, sir?" ask Ella start dag-dig-dug.

"If I tell you, it's not a surprise. So, you just shut up and follow me." Ella nodded while blushing. Start thinking strangely.

Now step by step Ella felt, if she was being carried further and further. The surrounding sounds were silent, plus the weather tonight was cold. Ella was worried, if she was being framed.

"Gentlemen, where are we going?" Ella was so scared.

"Sstt, you know that later." Whisper Devan in Ella's ear.

Ella nodded while strengthening her grasp. Ella was astonished, there should be the sound of the orphanage children she could hear right now, but there was not the slightest sound other than her footsteps following Devan.

"Is it far away, sir?" ella asked, getting worried.

"It's over" replied Devan standing behind Ella.

"Tu-sir, where are you?" asked Ella in fear her hand was suddenly taken off.

"I'm behind you, Ella. Don't be afraid, now open your eyes." Devan sounds happy.

"Open eyes? Or take the cloth off first, sir?" asked Ella starting again innocently.

"Jeez, open the cloth first, ELLA!" devan said with a head shake. Ella scratched the skin of her cheek feeling stupid. Devan smiles a little and opens Ella's blindfold. Slowly both of Ella's eyes opened, some faint light began to be seen in her vision. Ella was stunned to see the candles lined up neatly in front of her forming a path for her. Even his two eyes were fixed on the children of the parlors who were wearing neat and nice clothes were lining up while smiling at him.

One long table on top was filled with good food tonight. Ella touched her chest feeling this night was unexpected for her.

"This, what does this mean, sir?" ella asked stammering as she turned to look at him.

"This is a special event for you. I want to celebrate your cheerful return with the children of the orphanage, Ella. I am so grateful to them, thanks to them you can still stand in front of me. If not, I will no longer see you. So, I had the chef at the restaurant bring my order here so we could have dinner together. I hope you'll accept this surprise" Devan said, looking down and seeing Ella feeling guilty.

"Sir, I'm glad to see it" Ella said with a happy smile.

"Then" Ella grabbed Devan's right hand.

"We're having dinner now, sir." Ella pulls Devan through the candlelight to the children's home. Ella's step was so carefree to see the orphanage ma'am smile at her. Devan smiled feeling this surprise slightly comforted Ella back.

"Son, Ella. You're finally better," said the home mom. Ella nodded smilingly and hugged the orphanage.

"I'm the one who should be sorry, it's because I made it that way. Thank you for looking after Ella, Mom," said Devan, seeing Ella and touching the head of his innocent wife.

Ella lets go of the orphanage and sees the children smiling at her. The atmosphere tonight made him feel overwhelmed. Now, the orphanage children congratulate each other because Ella is no longer sad. Moreover, they were happy to see Devan being nice to them.

As the dinner begins, Ella sits down with Devan at the same table. Only the two of them nodded at each other. Embarrassed as the children laughed at the nervous Devan in front of Ella. After finishing dinner, Devan immediately stood up first and pulled Ella up.

"Sir, what's wrong?" ask Ella to stand up. Devan did not answer him but pulled Ella along with him to a place a little far from the parlour. A small run led Ella to an empty field, with only a small grass and the sound of crickets accompanying the two of them.

"Sir, why are we here?" ella asked confusedly. Now he thinks Devan is going to do weird things to him.

"Let's look up at the sky, Ella," said Devan. Ella turned her back to Devan and looked up at the sky. Immediately, an explosion was heard above the sky. Ella was surprised to see fireworks on it. Ella's smile began to widen to look at him. This was the first time with such close proximity seeing fireworks, moreover this was extremely rare for him. Only once a year see a moment like this.

"Aah!" Ella was surprised, and suddenly Devan hugged her stomach from behind. Ella went upstairs to see Devan smiling at her. Plus, Devan is putting on a robe and syall for him tonight. Both of Ella's teary eyes received a gentle treatment from Devan. This made him confused, whether this was sincere for him or not.

"Do you like it, Ella?" tanya Devan looked up. Ella looked down and nodded her head smiling in embarrassment. At once his right hand was grabbed by Devan and then gave him fireworks. Ella's eyes widened to see Devan turn it on.

"Sir, this is dangerous. I don't want to hold it," Ella was terrified, clearly her hand was shaking.

"Not to be afraid, it's so much fun, you just hold it, I'll hold it too." Devan was holding the firecracker. Ella blushed, her hand that Devan was holding. Moreover, Devan's only hand was embracing him. Asik saw Devan's hand made Ella unconscious firecracker erupted upwards.

"Well!" ella's scream of fear immediately hugged Devan along with the firecrackers successfully detonated upwards. Devan chuckled to see Ella hugging him tightly. It's too close for Ella to light her own firecracker. Ella kept screaming as the firecrackers blew up again. Ella's screams made the orphanage children from a distance laugh at her.

"Master, that's enough. I don't want to hear it anymore. It's like I set off a bomb" Ella said in fear. Devan chuckled, what an innocent little wife this is.

"Well, you're obviously happy today" said Devan, grabbing Ella's hands.

"Ella" said Devan, looking at her seriously is like trying to express her feelings tonight.

"Yes, Sir?" Ella started to dig.

"What ... do you love me?" devan asked as he gulped, wanting to confirm Ella's feelings for him again. There was a fear that Ella would no longer love him after hurting him yesterday. I wanted to say that she was happy to hear Ella loved her, but now Devan wants to be more serious about it.

"Can I love you, sir?" asked Ella back with a plain look. Devan laughed, Ella asked back. It was funny to ask permission to love her.

"Sure, may. You have a right to love me, Ella." Devan hugged Ella. This hug sent Ella so warm. Ella blushed and smiled.

"If so, I love you, sir," said Ella shyly cat. Devan saw her and quickly and gently kissed Ella on the edge of her lips.

"I love you too, Aradella." Reveal Devan saw it and smiled as sweetly as possible. Ella started to tear up wanting to cry after hearing that. Feeling her feelings are now avenged tonight. Devan's words sounded serious in both ears.

"Now, will you come home with me?" devan's question made Ella speechless. Shut up confused to decide. Afraid that his return will make him sick again.
