The Princess Of 100 Talents

The Princess Of 100 Talents
Chapter #17

After picking up Madame Liu from her room, young master Xiao walked to the gate of the Liu family residence, and helped madam Liu get on the horse carriage she was carrying.

Everyone who was crowding in front of the prime minister's house Liu whispered to each other and wondered what had happened to Madame Liu and her daughter.

"Lin'er. We've gotta go." Said young master Xiao to Lin Yao.

Lin Yao nodded "Yes."

Carefully Lin Yao climbed onto the carriage and sat together with his mother inside the horse carriage belonging to young master Xiao.

Just as they were about to leave, they met the Xu family who were about to visit the prime minister Liu's residence.

"Young master Xiao, long time we did not meet. What are you doing in front of the gate of prime minister Liu's residence, do you want to meet the prime minister?" Asked Master Xu to young master Xiao.

"No Mr. Xu, I'm here to pick up his rightful mistress and daughter to stay in the pavilion."

"Ma... You mean young master Xiao?"

"From today, Ms. Liu and her daughter will be living separately from the Liu family, as some of the women in Liu's residence do not want them to be there, she said, so they would stay in the pavilion outside of Liu's residence, and they would also be within the Xiao family's protection." Said young master Xiao a little loudly.

Premier Xu, and everyone in front of Liu's residence were shocked, hearing what one of the sons of the nobleman in front of them said.

Some people began to whisper about the woman inside Liu's residence that the young master Xiao was referring to.

"Alright mister Xu, I should immediately escort aunt Wei and sister Lin'er to the pavilion they are going to live in."

"Ah. Fine, fine. Please young master Xiao."

Prime Minister Xu stared at the several horse carriages that walked past him.

"S*alan! If only I had known that madam Liu and prime minister Liu's first daughter had a good relationship with young master Xiao, I would definitely not have asked my son to cancel the marriage agreement with her."

Both hands of prime minister Xu clenched for holding back resentment and anger, for the stupidity he had done.

The horse carriage that Lin Yao and his mother rode on walked towards the pavilion belonging to mistress Liu whom he had once left to the Xiao family.

"Mother, one day we will never again deal with concubine Qian and her daughter." Said Lin Yao.

"Yes, we'll live a quieter life."

"After we stay outside of Liu's residence, Lin Yao will take care of mother until mother is completely healed."

"Yes Lin'er."

Lin Yao nodded.

Before long the horse carriage that Lin Yao and his mother rode stopped, young master Xiao opened the curtain that covered the door of the horse carriage.

"Aunt Wei, Lin'er. We've arrived in front of the pavilion." Said young master Xiao.

Assisted by young master Xiao, Lin Yao and his mother got off the horse carriage they were riding.

Right now they had been standing in front of a gate, and behind that gate was a pavilion that would be their next residence.

Kraaaaac

One of the guards of young master Xiao opened the gate.

"Aunt Wei, Lin'er. Let's go in and look at the pavilion together." Said young master Xiao.

"Yes." Yeah." Madame Liu.

Lin'er helped his mother walk through the pavilion gate that was in front of them.

"Mother, this pavilion is enormous, and it seems to be bigger than Liu's residence." Said Lin Yao.

"Yes, the mother deliberately made this pavilion with a large enough land. So that your children may live in this pavilion happily."

Lin Yao smiled.

Right now right in front of them stood a large pavilion with a vast pond and garden beside and behind the pavilion.

"Aunt Wei, let's take a look at the main hall and the other rooms inside this pavilion." Said young master Xiao.

"Yes, thank you."

Young master Xiao nodded and smiled.

They then looked at the pavilion they were going to occupy.

Now they had been inside the main hall of the pavilion.

"You have helped me take very good care of this pavilion, Ming Yu. Aunty doesn't know what to do to thank you." Madame Liu.

"Auntie wei, auntie doesn't need to do anything to Ming Yu. Seeing aunt and Lin'er living just fine, already made Ming Yu very happy."

Madam Liu smiled, since long ago the young master of the Xiao family was indeed very kind and wise. That's why he's liked a lot by people.
