While still not finished Keysa's shock, he gasped when the forest cat licked his leg. Then the cat drank the river water there.
Keysa then looked back at her reflection, quickly grabbing the ends of her hair and the two eyes widened perfectly.
"What's going on!" his face began to show a look of worry and fear. How could her black hair turn blonde? Or is this forest a miracle?
"Absolutely impossible!" he nodded with a scream.
A second later the wind blew fiercely, the leaves and branches of trees around him moved in the direction of the wind, causing a sound of natural friction between the leaves that seemed to imply a message.
Keysa shuddered in horror, just now this forest looks peaceful and then why did it become this way. Is it because he said he doesn't believe in miracles? His eyes then stared at the strands of blond hair that were moving due to the wind. His hair was longer than a shoulder. If it wasn't a miracle, how could her hair change color? Yep! The miracle! Just that one word alone could explain what was happening to him now.
Suddenly the strong wind disappeared slowly. Keysa swallows saliva. Is there something strange in this forest? His chest was beating fast.
Keysa was sitting limp, now what should he do? His eyes caught several monkeys hanging from a tree nearby. Staring intensely. Then he looked at what was in the creature's hand. Ihau fruit.
Keysa swallows saliva. He realized his stomach was hungry.
Keysa stared again at some of the monkeys, then one of the monkeys moved away, quickly following him. The hunch says the monkey will point to the place hanging sweet fruit like the longan or banana or any fruit that can be eaten!
Both of his legs continued to step while his eyes could not be separated to look at the monkey who continued to jump agilely from one branch to the other. So excited he had no regard for scratches on the soles of his feet due to branches.
Keysa stopped and looked in amazement at what he saw. His eyes sparkled beautifully. The fruit hangs up there. The whole place is full of fruit.
Keysa then approached one of the trees and started climbing it. Pretty hard. If she used to be a village girl who easily climbed any tree but Keysa now like a princess who has lived in the mansion for several months. But he finally succeeded. He quickly ate the fruit, letting the gazes of some monkeys look at him with a spotlight that was somehow not understood.
After feeling satisfied and full he still perched casually on one of the branches of the tree. His eyes looked far away.
The flashback
"Key! Quick down!" a girl perched on a rambutan tree behind her house doesn't care. The scream that came from the beautiful mouth of his mother did not he gubris at all. He really likes to be on a tree if the season rambutan like this.
"Key!" the sound made Keysa look. Sure enough her brother Sari looked at her sharply. Key twisting eyeball. His eldest brother was indeed very fierce. As usual he helped their mother to tame the very mischievous Keysa.
8-year-old Keysa came down and walked past her sister. Go straight to the bunda.
"Why the bun?"
"How many times have you said Key, you're a girl. Be more graceful at least do not harm yourself by climbing and sitting relaxed like before!"
Key is still waiting for the next babble.
"Yes, buyin mother sugar first in the stall."
Key then took the money he had given the bunch and walked to the neighboring stall next to him while grumbling.
Both eyes glazed. Who would have guessed that now he was just on top of a fairly tall tree. His eyes saw the monkey. It was not the fruit he ate but the banana which was a few meters away from the tree he was in now.
Ah right! Monkey eat banana? Why did you eat the fruit?
Maybe they get tired of eating bananas all the time!
Keysa laughed to himself.
***
Keysa was sitting on a large tree branch while closing his eyes. Letting the wind blow slowly played his blonde hair. Both of his unclean feet were hanging.
Keysa then looked at the forest cat next to him. This cat, Keysa, is a type of cat. Today, the kuwuk cat is a highly protected forest cat breed due to its population on the brink of extinction. There are 3 types of kuwuk cats that are still alive in Indonesia, one of which is Prionailurus bengalensis borneoensis spread in Kalimantan.
This exotic cat breed is very good at climbing. In fact, Kuwuk cats are also great at swimming . Included in nocturnal animals, kuwuk cats will look for their prey at night. Birds, insects, rats, rabbits, and amphibians are a number of animals that fall prey to kuwuk cats.
Another interesting thing from the Kuwuk cat is its fur pattern which has a brownish yellow base color accompanied by a black strip from head to neck, similar to a tiger. But the pattern on the body is in the form of black leopards, similar to leopards.
The size of the cat kuwuk is not too big, its body has a size that is almost the same as the usual house cat maintained in general.
"Needle! I'll call you Tutul!"
Keysa smiled happily, feeling that maybe he would not be lonely living in this forest. The key next to him curled up as his round eyes stared fixedly at Keysa. Keysa returned his gaze.
"You know, you're so adorable!"
Keysa kept talking even though Tutul would not answer him. His eyes then looked towards the front. In front of him the sun sets. It began to disappear below the horizon line to the West.
The atmosphere of calmness and comfort is so felt for Keysa and Tutul when passing the twilight while waiting for the day to change the night.
The red color in the sky at sunset and the trees that line up carelessly is a wonderful combination of beautiful scenery.
Seriate.
Note :
Other names of Kuwuk cats: squat cat, Blacan cat, congok meow, leopard, root tiger, or grove tiger. Westerners usually call it Asian Leopard Cats (ALC) because of its similar pattern to leopards.
