CHAPTER 11

Since Keanu had not gone to work for a long time, today he returned to his original purpose. Seeking the truth about the death of his parents.

When he reached the restaurant where he had worked before, the owner was angry with him.

"Hey Ken! Where have you been all this time?" that's what the owner called Keanu.

"Sorry boss, I have some business to do some time ago. Can I still work for you?' keanu asked trying to look normal.

"Harggs! A few days ago, my restaurant was busy. But you didn't show up and didn't give me the slightest word. Know it? It drives me crazy."

"Sorry boss."

After breathing out in annoyance, the restaurant owner allowed Keanu to return to work for him.

"alright. You can go back to work. Get everything in order and get ready for the upcoming customers" the owner said.

"Ready."

Keanu started washing the seafood supplies in the cooler box. It cleans clams, fish and lobsters quickly.

At noon, someone came and asked the owner to come along with him. Keanu peeked out of the window and saw Gun waiting in the car. The man spoke briefly to the restaurant owner.

"Isn't that Gun? What are they talking about?"

Keanu felt it was really serious. Judging from the expression of his boss, it seemed like the man was getting a sudden call from the mayor.

After Gun's car leaves, the owner meets Keanu and tells him that he wants to go somewhere for a while.

"Ohya Ken, I'll go for a minute. You and the others keep opening up and serving the buyers as usual. Maybe I'll be home in the afternoon."

"Good, boss."

As soon as the boss turned around and left, Keanu glanced at him with a curious look. Unbeknownst to his boss, Keanu secretly follows where his boss is going suspiciously.

In a house in an urban location, his boss met someone and entered the house. Keanu follows silently and sees Gun and the mayor inside. From their movements, his boss seemed to be being scolded.

Just as Keanu was about to take a closer peek, two men who had come to the restaurant and also burned the fish came along. So Keanu waits for his next chance to switch hiding places.

The mayor asked the boss and his two friends to bribe his townspeople to facilitate the mayoral election march next month. Apparently, Mr. Jordan wanted the position to remain his. Now and for the time to come.

Because Keanu already knew the meaning of their meeting, he just left. Along the way, he grumbles and berates Gun's family.

When he reached the gate of his village, he sat daydreaming on the weeds. He imagined what his father had been shot by a man named Jordan. For the sake of power as yet, the man got rid of his rival in a cunning manner.

"Now I understand. What's your cunning like. Justjust look. I'll come to your family and make a mess" Keanu murmured.

Keanu's eyes were truly frightening. He was no longer as soft-hearted as when Rula was around. Now he is completely possessed by a demon that drags him into a dark world. And now, the demon within him could no longer be controlled.

With determination, Keanu targets all the members of the mayor's family and the families of the two men who help him.

That night.

Keanu sat in the corner of his neat room. Although it looks neat and clean, but the lack of lighting makes the room stuffy.

With a pen in his hand, Keanu recorded the deaths of several of his victims. In the past two months, he has killed seven people. And all of them, have not been investigated by the police because there is no evidence that leads to the perpetrator.

As he thought, he remembered Daisy. He also remembered that since three days ago he had not fed the girl. So, Keanu tidied up his notebook and pocketed it into the back pants pocket. Then he went to the kitchen to get food.

Coming home from the restaurant, he brought a lot of leftovers. There were some cuts of meat, potatoes and boiled eggs. With the rest of the food, he feeds himself and Daisy.

GRASPED!

The secret door was opened and closed again. Daisy who had been limp from yesterday opened her eyes slowly.

He saw the figure of Keanu who to him was so terrible it entered and brought a chest.

"Are you sleeping?" greet Keanu while crouching down and putting down the crate he was carrying.

Daisy just winks slowly. He was unable to move freely as both his hands were still tied backwards.

"Eat," Keanu placed the boiled potatoes and eggs in front of Daisy.

Then Keanu stood back up and grabbed something from inside the chest. There was the sound of objects clinging to each other as Keanu searched for something inside.

TLANGS! TLANGS! TLANGS!

Keanu hit hard until the peg was half embedded in the floor. When he finished, he turned his head and looked at Daisy with his trademark smile. He approached and slowly untied the girl's hand. Will he release her??

Of course not.

He intends to ensnare Daisy with a chain shackle that he will attach to his left foot. Uh! The poor girl. He could not escape the misfortune that had befallen him.

The chain bracelet was finally attached tightly to Daisy's feet. It was true, his hands were no longer tied. But what's the point if the bond moves to the foot and it gets tighter.

"Take your food if you don't want me to fall over again" Keanu said casually.

If the speech is normal for Keanu, different from Daisy. That actually sounded horrible to her. Daisy quickly grabbed the boiled potato that was in front of her and devoured it with fear.

"We went to the meeting place as usual" Penela said.

Keanu nodded without looking. Slowly, Penela's car started to come out of her yard. Keanu planned to take the old woman to the cliffs.

"Where are we going, Mr Dawn? Come to think of it, you're a little weird today?" said Penela started to fidget while continuing to watch her driver from the back bench.

Feeling that the driver was not the driver, Penela opened the car door forcefully and intended to jump. But Keanu immediately locked the car door and pulled the woman's hair rough.

Penela shouted and tried to stop the car by tapping on the window glass. I hope someone sees and helps her. But because the old woman was too noisy, Keanu hit Penela's head firmly using his hammer.

Without wasting any time, Keanu stuffed the hammer into his bag and left the old woman and her car in the middle of the road.
