Chapter 12 Sleeping Together
After a long debate, Emperor Maximilian headed to the back palace with Leonardo still in tears to meet Elizabeth.
" Hix..ma..ma....hi...." Isak Leonardo weeping in the arms of Emperor Maximilian.
Emperor Maximilian just patted Leonardo's back slowly, for the lifetime of Emperor Maximilian had never taken care of a baby usually the child of a member of the royal family after birth will be taken care of by one caregiver.
When he reached the back palace of Emperor Maximilian was a little astonished because the palace situation was very quiet and there were no guards at all, Emperor Maximilian thought about what would happen if there was an attack, Emperor Maximilian shook his head after this he was going to tell Oliver to put some guards here, as he walked down the aisle accidentally when Emperor Maximilian met Everlyn who was wanting to return to his room.
Everlyn, knowing that Emperor Maximilian had come with Leonardo in his arms, bowed respectfully.
" Greetings Your Majesty" Everlyn said formally.
Emperor Maximilian only saw Everlyn at a glance and continued his journey without replying to Everlyn's words at all, whereas Everlyn just lowered her head sadly her father did not want to see her at all and Everlyn directly entered her room.
When he reached Elizabeth's room, Emperor Maximilian knocked on Elizabeth's door a little hard.

As Elizabeth was falling asleep, disturbed by the sound of knocking on the door, Elizabeth got out of her bed and opened the door.
" Who the hell is knocking on the door at this hour it feels like I want to hit him on the head" Elizabeth said, holding back her annoyance, as she opened the door.

" Rei.." said Elizabeth was cut off when she saw the person who came not Reina but Emperor Maximilian with Leonardo in his sling, Elizabeth saw Leonardo who was crying softly, so she could not help herself, The panicked Elizabeth immediately took Leonardo from Emperor Maximilian's arms and took him to his room.
Leonardo who opened his eyes and saw that now he was in his mother's arms immediately cried back.
" Hiks...mama..." Issue Leonardo quietly while putting his head in the recess of Elizabeth's neck
" Shut.mama is here" Elizabeth said as she gently stroked Leonardo's hair.
Emperor Maximilian looked only at Elizabeth who was very patient in taking care of Leonardo to fall asleep, in his heart there was a slight feeling of jealousy towards his children who could get the full affection of their mother, whereas since childhood he was always told to learn by his mother to prepare to ascend the throne when he grew up even Emperor Maximilian himself never get the love of his mother and father even just dinner the atmosphere like a stranger.

The song sung by Elizabeth managed to make Leonardo fall asleep, Elizabeth took Leonardo to sleep in his bed and enveloped while carrying a sentence that made Emperor Maximilian a little tenacious.
" Good sleep my son" Elizabeth said, kissing Leonardo's forehead gently.
Elizabeth turned her back and saw Emperor Maximilian silent with a blank look.
" His Majesty" said Elizabeth calling Emperor Maximilian but there was no response at all.
" YOUR MAJESTY." cried Elizabeth to call Emperor Maximilian.
Elizabeth's cry instantly awakened Emperor Maximilian from his daydream, and looked at Elizabeth before walking towards Elizabeth's bed, after which Emperor Maximilian poked himself beside Leonardo.
" I will sleep here very lazy if I return to the palace again" Emperor Maximilian said casually as he closed his eyes.
Elizabeth only sighed before re-enveloping herself on the left side of the bed, so the current Emperor Maximilian slept on the right, Elizabeth on the left, and Leonardo was in the middle of the two of them, after making sure Emperor Maximilian was asleep Elizabeth gently touched Emperor Maximilian's hair.
" Sleep Max." - Elizabeth said before closing her eyes.
Unbeknownst to Elizabeth, the Emperor Maximilian had not fallen asleep, and she wanted to do what Elizabeth would do while she slept in bed with Elizabeth.
