24. Acknowledging Ancestors

Raquel's older brother's face showed a slight change in expression after he asked a question, he looked angry and displeased at what Raquel had already done.

Raquel who yearns for freedom and does not like to report about his activities on others is a little unhappy with this question but because of his slightly different condition he has to do it this time. Raquel took a deep breath and exhaled it from his nose.

In order for others not to see his strangeness he was forced to use the original body owner's excuse which he had always used as an excuse.

"I don't like going to school, what benefits can I get there? Other than making pr and practice there was nothing else to do," Raquel replied quickly casually and guiltlessly.

His elder brother exhaled a rough breath, he looked at Raquel fixedly with various thoughts raging in his brain. He looked at Raquel's appearance and felt slightly comforted by the look on his face.

Quite a long period of silence and no conversation was made until Raquel's older brother took out a bottle of medicine he found in Raquel's room. Seeing the drug Raquel was shocked and uncomfortable, he forgot to keep the drug until it was discovered.

Though he had seen the drug yesterday, yes, it was an antidepressant drug that was consumed by the original body owner because of the pressure he received.

"It's yours, right? I found this in your room earlier, it's been reduced and it means it's been used. Why don't you tell me about this and just endure it alone?" Richard asked in a slightly different tone of voice.

A look of pity was imprinted on his face with such pity, Richard seemed to be pitying the current state of Raquel.

"Say! Why are you keeping quiet? What am I going through that you have to take these pills? Are there a lot of problems at school or are there friends who hurt you? Tell me and I'll finish it for," Richard softened his voice.

He began to be soft on Raquel and did not show the look of the face like that again.

"I'm just faking it," Raquel replied quickly with a sweet heartfelt smile.

His hand twitched in front with a frantic expression trying to explain about the existence of the medicine.

"You don't have to be afraid just tell me! I'll handle that guy without him knowing what happened to him? Just tell me a story and I'll listen to it!" Richard tried to entertain and get answers.

Richard thought Raquel was afraid he would worry about his circumstances so Raquel lied about his current body and mental state.

"Really I'm fine, Big Brother don't have to worry! I am fine and have not encountered any obstacles, if there were any I could still handle all of that well. Don't mind me!" Raquel tried to smile sweetly and explain what happened to him in a hurry.

Raquel wanted to avenge the grudge he had in his heart with his own hands without the help of others, he felt his own satisfaction at seeing his opponent helpless and begging for mercy.

Richard threw the medicine he was holding into the trash, "change your clothes! Today I will take you to recognize our family ancestors" he said after cleaning his hands with a tissue.

The change in Raquel's face was so obvious, Raquel looked unhappy with what Richard had said just now.

"Can I not go? Suddenly I felt unwell, my head was dizzy and I wanted to vomit." Raquel tries to find an excuse to keep himself from going to the mansion.

He recalled the diary he had read last night several times he had received an attempted murder from his family.

The first time when he was about to get hit by a car, the car followed him from behind but he ignored it all because he thought the person in the car was heading to the same place as him.

Who knew when he was about to cross the car was about to graze himself, lucky he had good body reflexes so as to avoid a fatal accident that could take his life on the spot.

The second incident when he went to climb the mountain with his schoolmates, he got lost in the forest and could hardly go home because the instructions he received had been changed by someone else.

Even recently his drink was mixed with something lucky he had not had time to touch the drink, if He drank the drink then it was certain that he was not in this world anymore. And Raquel believes the problems that happened that night there was also interference from his family so that many people ignored him and pretended not to know what he was experiencing that night.

"You should go with me tonight too, grandma is sick and maybe her life is not long she will read the will left for all of us. That's why you have to be there to listen to what he's written," Richard persuaded with a sweet and kind smile.

He knew about what Raquel was going through and made Raquel not want to go back to the mansion, he even helped Raquel to avoid being harmed by people who hated Raquel and wanted him not to exist in this world.

Raquel walks into his room leaving his older brother to call someone, but in his room Raquel changes his clothes with the one chosen by Richard.
