8. School

Raquel glanced at his phone then put the phone back on, Raquel seemed reluctant to pick up the call.

"Yes hello!" In the end Raquel raised the call with a lazy voice, his eyes drooping down with a weak but long puff of breath.

"You're okay, right? Did something happen to you, Serena says you've been so extravagant lately." It turned out that the one who had been calling since was Raquel's brother.

From her tone she seemed anxious but seeing the way they left Raquel alone made it difficult for Kimberly to tell which one really cared and which one did not.

"Nothing happened, I'm home now." That was the only answer Raquel gave.

Perhaps because this was not the real Raquel or perhaps because there was no feeling that could support Kimberly to answer enthusiastically. Looking at the environment and the treatment of everyone around him it is clear that Raquel is indeed as unwanted as his family.

'This poor girl must have been very tortured, she was abandoned by her parents and left to live in a dormitory just like that when their house was big and spacious. She also lived with such a cruel woman, it was just that she was frightened and easily oppressed. Surely he felt that he had no support for self-defense.' A rough gust of breath was heard entering the ears as Raquel let out air from his nose quickly.

Raquel glanced at the entire room again after putting his phone on the table, he undressed and went into the bathroom to clean his wound once more before administering the medicine on his injured body.

After finishing the bath and taking medicine Raquel looked around the room again, his eyes fixed on the diary that was located between the textbooks. The book so caught Kimberly's attention that she picked it up, Kimberly took Raquel's diary to bed to fully understand what Raquel's suffering had been like.

Before opening the diary Kimberly leaned against the head of the bed, Kimberly opened page by page in the book. All of Raquel's stories are neatly arranged along with the important events he goes through, everything that happens and what his feelings are like is clearly written.

The door opened from the outside, Serena entered the room intending to wake Raquel up.

"It's morning, you're not going to school?" serena asked without looking at the bed, and she walked straight to the window to open the curtains to let the light of my morning eyes into the room.

When the light came in and she turned around how surprised Serena was to see that the usually messy room was clean and tidy, whereas the room was usually very messy and unkempt. Serena looked around the room to see if she was dreaming or not.

As Serena looked towards the bathroom, she found a few strands of hair strewn across the top and bottom of the trash can that was there. Serena was confused as to why there was hair there, she turned around to go to meet Raquel but she was shocked and jumped due to Raquel's sudden appearance from behind.

Raquel was drying her wet hair, she looked very beautiful yet cold and unfriendly. Unlike the bad girl he saw and met last night.

Earlier at five o'clock Raquel had woken up and cleaned his room, after which he ran off in the morning to strengthen his body. This body must be trained and taught in order to be used like its former body.

"In that trash can is your hair huh?" asked Serena kindly no longer with a loud shout like last night.

Serena quickly nodded, knowing that what Raquel said was not a mere threat. Raquel was satisfied with Serena's response to what she said, Raquel took her school bag and left home.

Yuhuan is a school dominated by smart and accomplished children, Raquel attended there. The school was located quite far from his residence, that was why there was a special dormitory for children to stay in the school.

Raquel reached the school after a half-hour drive from his residence, he waltzed leisurely into the school gate under everyone's gaze.

Outside of the classroom people were talking about the matter last night, the news that was circulating was extremely nauseating. Too exaggerated and obviously the news was a lot of untrue, Raquel looked confused and frowned.

'Why are they so easily instigated and believe in the untrue news, if only he drowned they would have told me something else that made this girl bear the shame of a lifetime.' Kimberly.

He continued to step up ignoring all the gazes that were fixed on him, causing confusion. If it was Raquel who used to be maybe he had run with his head down, unfortunately the present is no longer Raquel but Kimberly who is experienced in mentally dropping others.

"Basic was shameless, he really could not reflect. She's so ugly, she can't even dress up at all." Raquel's friends gather in front of his class to talk about him.

They did not realize that the person they were talking about was standing behind them with their hands folded over their chest.

Tired of standing Raquel leaned against the wall with one foot stepping on the floor one foot again bent to the wall, his hand still like it had folded beautifully on his chest.

"I don't think he dared to come to school today, he just didn't stay at the dorm last night. I'm sure he must have cried miserably by hiding his face to the pillow" another sneered with a crisp laugh.

"Hem you're right, he definitely didn't dare to come to school. He was completely unconscious, ugly face, unattractive appearance and also he didn't deserve to be here." Others laughed at the misfortune that Raquel had suffered.

"The value alone is no longer suitable to be here, I hear his parents don't even want him." Eriska's friend who was assigned to spread the gossip laughed mockingly with her hands closed her mouth.

"Hem, I heard he wrote a love confession to Alexander. He really can't measure his abilities, Alexander is so handsome and popular here, does he think he can be worth it to Alexander?" Again, he tried to make Raquel worse in front of everyone.

"Yes, I heard last night his head hit and he's not moving anymore. Why didn't he just die? Even if he's useless in this world, he's just society's trash." They laugh at Raquel's misfortune.

It seems that what happened to Raquel was not a big deal to them.
