The Red Crystal Kingdom

The Red Crystal Kingdom
Stephen's Explanation

In the main room at the bottom of the palace, Rena inspects the main food section that is being carried out by the royal servants. He tidied up his white robe while observing the process of feeding the staple food containing representatives of the citizens, especially the heads of the family.

He felt that periodic earthquakes that occurred from the beginning had not occurred for two days. Moreover, until now, the palace had only felt a small earthquake. Previously, he had already consulted the witches in the circle of the palace. They also agree that the conditions he is feeling now seem odd. But none of them have a solution to solve this problem. So, the witches chose to wait for further decisions, especially the result of the tasks performed by Uzan and friends – comrades.

“Rena, you observed the work of the palace servants, huh?”

Rena stunned. I don't know since when, the palace was standing beside him.

“Iya,” Rena shook her head to get rid of her thoughts. After that, the girl said, “I also became concerned about the condition of the community that was being hit by a disaster.”

“That's great, Rena,” said Istandi. Then, he pointed towards a long bench at the end of the room. “If there is time, why don't we talk at length. Actually, I also have some things that I want to talk to you about.” Istandi sighed. “Circumstances that occur in this palace.”

Rena observed the palace for a moment. The higher-ups of the Society section looked worried, but he also had serious problems to talk about. Finally, Rena was short. “Mari!”

Then, Rena and Istandi walked down the servants and sat together on the long bench available.

“Rena,” said Istandi, while opening the conversation. “Do you think that this disaster we are experiencing is very strange.”

“It turns out you are also thinking about what I think, Istandi, ” Rena said. While putting both palms on the lap.“Why?”

“I am not a king and,” Stephen sighed. “For sure being a king is a difficult thing. However, I am also assessing the decision that King Endan.” is making

“I think this decision is quite accurate,” said Rena. “I mean, this food division has also been executed well.”

“I remember when you refuted Faraq's statement about the solution now being undertaken by Prince Uzan,” Istandi leaned against the wall. “Do you indeed oppose that decision?”

“You mean?”

“Prince Uzan is long gone,” Istandi is staring down. “more days, I also feel a little suspicious with Faraq.”

Rena said, “Before I also felt suspicious of Faraq, but—”

“Of course this is for the sake of the benefit of the palace, Rena,” said Istandi. “Sorry if I cut”

Rena nodded. He waved his palm. Permit the palace to continue the conversation.

“After traveling with King Endan for a few days, I want to explain the connection between King Endan's decision and the solution that Faraq is currently living.”

“Alright, I will listen to your explanation, Istandi,” Rena wiped her hair.

“Alright,” Istandi starts explaining. “It is undeniable that King Endan plays safe with his decision and does not want to take risks. How not, even though this periodic earthquake has faded and is very rare, he still treats the policy to secure all residents who are living in the Palace.

After that, about Faraq. Several times I followed Faraq and it turns out that he had an aide to a witch – a foreign witch wearing a green necklace. Do you recognize them, Rena?”

“To my knowledge, all groups of witches never wear necklaces though,” Rena shook her head. “So, how are your observations about Faraq.”

Stephen let out. “I'm beginning to realize how true your objections are to the solutions offered by Faraq to recover quakes that were once spelled out, periodically. The grin he did when dealing with the green-covered witches was very strange and seemed suspicious. Of course I do not comment and pura – pura do not know when I witnessed it. However, I also noticed.”

Rena observes Stephen whose way of speaking is getting serious.

“That's right,” says Rena. “I know enough about that Magical Material.”

“It is not surprising, because you are the daughter of Mr. Kamasa,” Istandi cross-crossed. “Here, I just want to comment on Faraq's decision to remove Prince Uzan from the Palace.

“I know that this is a bad idea because this possibility is just my assumption. However, I concluded that this earthquake was caused by Faraq by having his aide – aides, who were witches. My description is taken from my experience when I saw him talking to the green-covered witches.

“Secondly, the absence of Kamasa in the meeting held by King Endan yesterday also needs to be suspected. Earlier, I thought that your rebuttal was unreasonable. Likely because I think that it is the only – way. However, the longer it took, I could understand about the objection. Moreover, Kamasa is not there and should be, Faraq gave further information about the existence of Kamasa. However, even now, King Endan never spoke a word about Kamasa.

“Then, the departure of Prince Uzan is also suspect because it could be that the one who sent Uzan to leave is not Kamasa, but Faraq himself.”.

Stephen was silent for a moment. Rena remembers – remembering about the magic Faraq did when giving parchment to collect magical materials. He also had time to speak firmly to Faraq about the awkwardness and about the absence of Kamasa. For some reason, until now his father has not returned from the meeting he did in the kingdom of Oslar and…

As if reading Rena's mind, Istandi asked, “Have you found out about Mr. Kamasa's news that Faraq said he was holding a meeting in Kerajaa Oslar?”

“Not yet, Istandi,” Rena replied briefly.

“I already know.”

“Oh, yes? How?”

“When I walked with Faraq and King Endan, when the King asked about Kamasa, Faraq bilag that Kamasa switched to negotiating with the kingdom – other kingdoms.”

“That's impossible,” says Rena. “What makes sense is, Supposedly, dad came back to report the subject.”

“Have you just noticed it?”

“No, but the end of this final –, King Endan said that father has become increasingly familiar with Faraq. In addition, the father also rarely went home, so.” Rena faced down with a gloomy face. “I understand him.”

“Thank you for listening to my explanation of the state of this palace, Rena.” Stephen stood. “I say this to you because I assume you know more about this. In addition, surely you also know about Mr. Kamasa and Mr. Faraq,” Istandi snorted in annoyance. “I wish I had powers like you, but I realize that you're better able to handle this. So, maybe this could be a consideration to discuss with other witches.”

“Alright,” says Rena while standing. After this, as much as possible I will hold a discussion with the witches and clerics of the palace.”

“Thank you, Rena,” Said Istandi. “I will continue my work first.”

The witch girl nodded. After that, Istandi walked away towards the exit of the palace to continue his activities.

Rena was sculpting while thinking about the explanation that was just uttered by Stephen. About Faraq, about the earthquake, about the duties of prince Uzan, and about his relationship with his father, Kamasa. The last one is the most important. Why is it like he doesn't care about his father? Previously he thought that this was because his father was busy due to undergoing royal duties.

Rena circulated her views to all government officials who shared staple foods.

The state of this kingdom is very strange because the earthquake has stopped but there are still many suspicions that he must ensure. Later, Rena decides to start examining this by examining her relationship with her father, Kamasa.

The witch girl muttered. “I will go to father's room to ascertain what activities he is currently living up to now.”

Then, Rena immediately turned her eyes and walked quickly to where she wanted to be.
