"Clara is not much better than Indira. Papa is really sorry to have complied with your desire to keep marrying Clara even though you were married to Indira."

"Clara–"

"Listen to me, Nathan. Didn't I tell you that I don't like the village girl? Why are you paying more attention to him than me? What are the advantages of a pregnant woman to the point that you worry so much about her and ignore me?"

"Indira's sick, Clara! Why don't you want to understand? I watched him because he was sick. After all, Indira is my wife, so it's only natural that I care about her. Didn't I pay more attention to you than Indira?
