"Yes Allah... Astarghfirullah.... Achaghfirullah...."

Adam rubbed his face rough.

Adam waited outside the room.

A minute feels like an hour, and an hour feels like a day to Adam.

Ten minutes Zee in the ER room, now he's taken out to be moved to the operating room.

The doctor immediately asked Adam to sign before the surgery was finally done.

The operation had to be carried out because the bullet lodged in Zee's arm was large enough to be rusted.

After waiting outside for about two hours the doctor finally came out and told Adam that the operation was going well.

"Alhamdulillah sir, the operation went well. And the bullet in the arm of my father's wife can be removed" said the doctor

"Alhamdulillah doc, Alhamdulillah... Thank you doctor thank you...."

Now he can breathe a little relieved even though Zee has not fully recovered at least he has passed his critical period.

"Can I see my wife now, doc?"

"Can't yet sir. Soon the father's wife will be moved to the nursery, only then can the father enter to see her"

"All right, doc, thank you..."

Impatiently Adam waited for his wife to be moved.

After Zee finished moving Adam directly to him.

With tears that could no longer be contained Adam sat beside Zee watching his body from the tip of his foot to his head.

The face that was usually always carefree and full of smiles, was now deathly pale and still unconscious.

"I'm sorry sir, the patient is currently still in desperate need of rest, please do not cause a loud noise so as not to disturb him" explained the nurse

"Well, I understand"

The sisters leave Adam and Zee inside.

Adam held his wife's hand gently so as not to disturb her.

"Darling..." Call Adam softly

"I'm sorry, honey... This all happened because of me. If I had just followed you and went straight home, maybe this wouldn't have happened"

The regret, fear and worry become one.

"Why can you be this reckless, baby, why don't you just let me get shot. Seeing you like this hurts more than that shot...."

Although still under the influence of drugs and also not conscious, but Zee's listener still functioning normally.

Adam was surprised to see his wife who cried even though she was unconscious.

Adam nodded while nodding.
