The Revenge of the President

The Revenge of the President
Chapter 67. This is your son, our son!

Sparks of rain, hitting glass windows, due to heavy rain. Blackened clouds, make the view dark, but the time is eight in the morning.

The atmosphere was cold, making many people curl up under the covers. There are also those who have been awakened, accompanied by a cup of tea to warm the body.

Different from, Arshila. The rain made her feel more sensitive. He stood facing the window, his appearance ruffled from tired crying. Tomorrow is the last day, she is with the fetus in her womb. He was frustrated because he had not found a way out. The mother-in-law, who is the protective goddess, has not activated her phone, because it is still on the road, which takes a long time.

Inside the room was Grace's manager, who was helping Lin's mother. Although, he did not need the two of them, to take care of himself. He was able to get up, without feeling dizzy, like a hammer hitting his head.

Arshila stroked her flat belly, telling her baby, everything will be fine, mother will protect you. It will survive, however.

"Miss, is the doctor here?"

Arshila looked over, smiling at a glance. Ride on a gurney, without being asked. Let the doctor do his job, as usual.

"How's my baby? He's fine, right?"

"Yes, Miss. You don't worry. Now, I need another blood sample, for a lab check."

Arshila nodded, giving up her hand to draw her blood.

"It's over." The lab worker gave the hansaplast to Arshila's hand. Then, retreat first.

"After the results come out, I'll go back to tell you, miss." The young doctor lowered his head, bidding away.

"Doctor," called Arshila, to which the doctor replied 'yes. "Can it help me? I want to go home today."

"But, Miss. Your condition hasn't improved." Actually, the doctor is trying to hold Arshila, in order to stay longer. Making Arshila, looking very sick, can delay the president's crazy request.

"Then help me get out of here!"

Yeah, the only way is to get out of here. He could not just sit back and sit down. Moreover, he did not have the strength to fight the husband. Running is the best option right now.

"I'll help, Miss. But, wait for instructions from me."

"Thank you." Arshila grabbed her hand, a clear fluid seemed to pool in her eyes.

Grace walked out of the room, watching the many bodyguards guarding their doorstep. Meanwhile, Lin's mother returned to tidy up the young lady's personal belongings.

While waiting, Arshila finished the pieces of fruit on the plate. Think of the direction to go, after getting out of here.

He planned to go alone, without two women who always look after him. He did not want to involve them in his escape.

But, where??

Well, where's he going? Now, he not only thinks of himself, but there are children who are his responsibility. She was willing to live a hard life, but the question was, was she able to raise her baby alone?

Arshila dispelled his thoughts, it doesn't matter now. He needs to be free, first. The place to go, just thinking, the hometown of his parents. Maybe Dave will never find it there. Might as well.

The doctor came back, with a paper in his hand.

"Laboratory results have come out and your hemoglobin is normal, but you still have to watch out. You should see your doctor more often to check up."

Arshila simply said thank you, for not understanding about the medical term. Hearing the normal words, he was already breathing a sigh of relief.

"Are you ready?" The doctor asked doubtfully. "If I have, I'll drop off for USG. Doctor sofia will help you out."

Arshila is driven in a wheelchair by Grace. Meanwhile, Lin's mother carried Arshila's sling bag.

The guards, walking to watch them. Follow a step that is not careless, at least.

"Take the room, Miss. There's important stuff inside. We're going to another room for USG" Lin's mother ordered.

It turned out that only two bodyguards, were staying in front of the door. Four others, still following them.

Arshila looked anxious, was she going to leave so easily? Or he will lose again, before starting.

The elevator that brought them arrived on the first floor. Passed through several examination rooms. There were many patients sitting waiting, lined with chairs that had been provided. They queue up according to the call number.

They had arrived, when the door opened, Dave sat in front of the doctor. As if he knew, the wife would come.

They gasped, staring at the figure who was returning their gazes.

"Miss, please. We'll check the state of the fetus."

Doctor Sofia broke the silence, she realized the situation was now beyond prediction. Because, he was also in a fog, when Dave suddenly came in the room, without any notice.

Arshila resigned, maybe luck is not on her side. She lay, staring at the screen and listening to the doctor's explanation, about the condition of her baby who was still in the form of a clot.

The man sitting there, busy himself with his cell phone. He did not care about the state of the fetus in his wife's womb. It's not his and soon, he'll eliminate it.

"How's it?" dave's still in a sitting position.

"The baby, se ...."

"Not that!" He cut quickly, because the boy was none of his business. "My wife's condition, how?"

"Miss's condition has improved, the results of the lab examination, are also good. It's just, it still needs to be watered."

"Then, la ...."

"I want to go home." Arshila.

Dave got up, staring dislike at his wife.

"You guys out!!" he said in a low tone but sounded scary.

The door was closed and they were both in the room.

"You're not going home until this kid's out."

"The cave. Don't you ever think this kid belongs to you?"

Arshila rose up, compassionate to be pitied.

"He's not mine!"

"What if, yes? Please, think about it. You touched me once, the night of Clarissa's birthday."

Dave immediately shut up, he took a step back. His brain was working fast, given the events of that night.

Nothing, that happened!! No matter how hard he tried to remember it. He cried out in frustration, fearing that Arshila's words were a fact.

"Dave, I beg you. This is your son, our son. You can test the DNA, after she's born."

Arshila sat at the feet of her husband. He will beg and prostrate for the sake of the baby in his womb.

That guy, still tight. He still thinks and digests the words of his wife.

What if it's my son? I've lost my baby and I don't want to lose it again. But why do I not remember ever touching it.?

Don't listen to him. What if it's someone else's child? Your wife must be laughing at you. You want to raise someone else's child?

Dave's heart and mind are at war. Mind raging.

"What is true you say?" Dave grabbed his wife's body to get up.

Arshila nodded with tears. How could he forget that night?
