Chapter 42: The Shadow of a Man

The next day in the canteen of Woolem Entertainment

While Hyeri and Seohyun were having lunch together, Sungyeol and Sungjong came to check on them. Sungyeol then sat down next to Hyeri. Meanwhile, Sungjong sat next to Seohyun.

Sungyeol : “I heard you wanted to be released from here?”

Seohyun : “You know where, Sungyeol?”

Sungyeol : “L told me.”

Hyeri : “L? How did he know?”

Sungjong : “Entahlah. We were talking about you and I suddenly said that. It really is?”

Hyeri : “Ya..”

“But Hyeri did not get expelled because she finished her work on time.” cut Seohyun. Hyeri confirmed Seohyun's words.

Sungjong stroking his own chest, “Thank God..”.

Sungyeol : Huft, we were very worried earlier.”.

Sungjong : “Later in the afternoon you have no show, Hyeri?”

Hyeri: “What's wrong?”

Sungyeol : “Kalo you have no event, come to our dorm.”

Seohyun looked at Sungyeol and Sungjong in wonder, “Dorm?”

Hyeri: “For what?”

Sungjong spoke slowly, “There was a surprise party for Sungkyu for his solo album released today.” Sungyeol.

Seohyun : “Album solo?”

Hyeri : “Party? Okay, I'll be there. But.. I don't know dorm infinity.”

“Quiet, I will take you.” said Seohyun as she pointed to herself.

Hyeri: “Kok you know, Seohyun?”

Before Seohyun replied, Sungjong interjected, “Only true inspiration knows dorm infinity where.”

Sungyeol : “True!”

Hyeri then looked at Seohyun understand. Meanwhile, Seohyun just smiled shyly.

Sungyeol continued, “Alright, since you are a true inspiration, you can join party.”

Seohyun widened her eyes in excitement, “Really?! Asi!!! Woah, I'm so lucky to be partying with idols!”

Sungjong : “Anggep aja like fanmeeting.”

The four of them laughed.

Hyeri : “So, who did you invite?”

Sungjong : “To invite manager too. But later ribet ah. Tau himself he's a troublemaker hahaha.”

“She or you guys??” hyeri Goda. Sungyeol and Sungjong remained clean and rebuked him. Seohyun just laughed at their behavior.

At night, Hyeri and Seohyun went to dorm infinity by bus.

‘Hey, we'll have them come there in the afternoon. But even the clock is just leaving..” said Seohyun while looking at the clock worn.

Hyeri : “Nothing. It starts at eight. It's still seven.”

Arriving in front of the infinity dorm door,

Hyeri : “Hey, are you sure this is the dorm? The dark gini place. Even the headlights are not on.”.

Seohyun : “Yakin. I've been here a lot, seeing them from far away. Maybe they haven't come home or are they hiding? This is a surprise party, this could be the plan they made for Sungkyu.”

Then Hyeri looked around and there was no one there. Hyeri also tried knocking on the door but there was no response from inside the dorm. He then grabbed the door and opened it.

Cklek! The door is apparently not locked. “The door is unlocked. Come on, just log in.” take Hyeri.

Seohyun muttered, “I didn't expect to get into this dorm really.”

Hyeri was about to go inside however, Seohyun prevented her by pulling Hyeri's hand. “You sure? Gelep. I got scared..” worried Seohyun.

Hyeri calms him down, “Nothing. There's me.”

Then Seohyun slowly walked in with Hyeri to the dorm while still holding Hyeri's hand.

Suddenly a man's voice sounded, “Who is it?”

Hyeri and Seohyun's steps suddenly stopped along with the thunder that boomed in the night sky. The lightning flash also flashed like a flash that showed the shadow of a man standing in the middle of the darkness.

The frightened Seohyun closed her eyes and hid behind Hyeri. Meanwhile, Hyeri narrowed her eyes trying to see who the man was but the man's face remained invisible because it was too dark. “That's one more time, who are you?” ask the man again.

“I Wang Hye Ri.” Hyeri replied.

“Aa..aku Seohyun.” replied Seohyun trembling.

“Hyeri? A seohyun? I don't know that name. What do you want here?” ask the man again.

Seohyun whispered, “Hyeri, she doesn't recognize us. Has the infinity dorm moved that fast?”

“Ssttt! Maybe he's working on us. I know this voice.” Hyeri whispered.

“We were invited here. This is true dorm infinity right?” ask Hyeri.

Instantly all the lights were on showing a man standing by the window turning his back to them. Seohyun opened her eyes, “You must be pranking us. Show yourself!” challenge Seohyun. The man turned around and it turned out that he was…
