Julian stared at the old paper bag. He hesitated to take it out of Bryan's hands.

"This I bought at a discount. So, you don't get mad at me and think it's expensive" said Bryan, who understood what Julian's eyes meant to him.

Julian still didn't budge. He still had not taken the paper bag out of Bryan's hands.

"If you don't believe what I'm saying, you can see in it there's still a bill I bought it" Bryan assured Julian that he did buy the dress for a low price.

Bryan issued his own receipt for the dress he bought. He handed the receipt to Julian. Julian saw and read it, it was true, Bryan bought the clothes at a cheap price, according to what he said.

"Is this really the price?" ask Julian.

"Yes that's it. But I told you what percentage the discount was. It was a shirt a few years ago. Not a new design" Bryan replied at length explaining to Julian. Bryan did not want Julian to become very suspicious of him and find out the true price of the shirt.

"You sure?" ask Julian back.

"Have you started doubting me?" bryan asked while looking at Julian with a dislike of his suspected gaze.

"I'm sorry again. I didn't mean it that way" Julian said. He really did not expect that it would have a bad impact from what he said earlier.

"Don't think about it. There change his clothes. I'll take a shower first"
