Chapters 27. Engagement

Returning from the company William immediately visited the hotel, where the engagement will be held between him and Deborah. He was getting ready in the room, changing into a suit with a tuxedo.

William stared at the reflection of his fierce face inside the large glass that had the size of his height. There was no smile, for there was not the slightest happiness in his heart. Because all he did was just follow what his parents said.

When he was fully dressed, suddenly the door of the room opened followed by Deborah's steps that approached him. The woman looked more beautiful in a gold dress, let alone a bright smile always embedded in her plump lips.

"You ready, Will?" deborah asked, touching William's shoulder. The man immediately raised his gaze, and saw the two reflections on their faces. It really implies a very different reaction.

"Do you see? We are very compatible" said Deborah praising the image of the two of them. Because in his eyes, William remained handsome under any circumstances.

"What did you come here for? Isn't the show about to start?"

Not responding to Deborah's remarks, William instead shifted the conversation while moving the shoulder so that the woman's hand was released.

Successfully, Deborah immediately pulled her hand, but she changed position, standing right in front of William, to fix the bow tie worn by the man.

While William was only silent, because in his view, he instead saw Bella who served him every day. Until he realized when Deborah said. "I just want to make sure that you don't run away and derail our engagement, Will."

Deborah slightly rubbed the chest of William's field as a sign that his work was done. While the man turned his face away, he could have remembered Bella, even though they had not spoken to each other for a few days.

"Oh yes, I want to remind you once again. Even though we're engaged, you can't manage me. Because then we'll keep going by ourselves" said William, because he doesn't want to rely on a commitment. All he needed was status, that was enough.

"You take it easy, Will, I'll follow what you say. Should not a wife obey her husband's orders?" deborah replied with a mysterious smile, then she walked away leaving William in the room.

He will be re-joining his family who are already waiting in the hotel ballroom.

Meanwhile, Bella, who was in need of a lot of book references, finally asked William for permission to go to the largest library in the capital. It just so happened that the location was not so far from William's apartment.

"He's just reading from me, which means he gave me permission, right?" muttered Bella while staring at the flat object she had in her hand. The next few seconds he could only be dumbstruck, until he finally chose to hurry away.

He did not want to waste time, for fear that the library would soon close, Bella went back down to the basement and met the driver who had been driving her everywhere.

During the journey Bella continues to daydream, stringing all the stories that have happened in her life. He really did not have a hunch, if it turns out William is engaged to another woman, namely with the chairman of the foundation that houses the campus.

All eyes were on the owner of the show, William and Deborah. Both are like stars, as they are seen to emit light. Yes, even though it can be seen clearly, if only Deborah smiled brightly.

"Honey, lift your lips a little dong," Eliana's nudge on her son who always put on a flat face.

"Can't, Mom, it's Daddy's face" replied William who made Eliana swallow. However, what William said was indeed true, her two sons were indeed very similar to her husband, Caka.

"Yes, the important thing is that everything goes smoothly" said Eliana, finally did not want to bother.

He returned to his seat, as the MC had already started opening the show that night. Until the time came William and Deborah were asked to move forward, namely to do a procession of exchange rings.

William took a small circle inlaid with diamonds which certainly has a fantastic price. He pinned the ring on Deborah's ring finger, but somehow afterwards William's feelings suddenly confused.

Unlike Deborah who always mengawum smile, especially when she changed to pair the ring on William's finger.

William's face turned furious, especially as he looked towards Jo. The man seemed confused, between wanting to give information to William or just go alone.

Because he got word that the driver who drove Bella, didn't go back to the apartment. The man intends to take Bella somewhere.

"Sir, where are we going? Shouldn't we turn in front of there?" bella asked with a face that was beginning to get scared.
