Episode 5: Love or Career?

After facing the dilemma of their hearts, Sarah and David realize that their affair has reached a tipping point. Both face a difficult decision that will change the course of their lives forever: love or career?

Sarah sat down at her desk, contemplating in silence. She feels stuck at a crossroads between forbidden love and her resounding career. If he continues this affair, he could lose everything his family, his great career, and his pride.

On the other hand, David felt heartbroken and guilty. He loves his wife, but his feelings for Sarah cannot be ignored. She knows that this affair is ruining both of their lives, but she doesn't know how to stop her feelings.

One day, Sarah and David meet in a deserted passageway. The two of them stared at each other with mixed feelings. "We have to stop this, David. This is not the right path" Sarah said in a soft voice.

David nodded, "I know. I also find it very difficult to stop this feeling, but we have to do it for the good of us and our families."

Sarah took a deep breath, "I love my husband, and I don't want to lose my family. I have to mend my relationship with her and overcome my feelings for you."

David smiled understandingly, "I must also do the same with my wife. We have to put our careers and families above our feelings."

The two of them were relieved to finally realize the importance of ending this affair. However, they also know that overcoming these complicated feelings will not be easy.

Sarah seeks support from a marriage counselor to help repair her relationship with Richard. She tries to open up and be honest about the affair that has taken place, and the two of them start talking about their feelings and expectations.

At work, Sarah and David work hard to keep their distance and live a good professional life. They focus on their work and try not to be together too often.

However, even though they try to avoid each other, but the feelings of love and attention between them cannot be eliminated easily. Every time they passed each other in the corridor or spoke in the meeting room, there was an inevitable warmth in their gazes.

This situation does not escape the attention of other colleagues. Gossip and conversation continue to grow, and both feel increasingly sandwiched between the views and expectations of others.

One day, Michael held a special meeting with Sarah and David. He wanted to discuss the issue of tension that exists in the office and how it affects their work performance.

"I want you both to know that your reputation and work performance mean a lot to this company. The tension between the two of you must be addressed wisely and professionally" Michael said seriously.

Sarah and David looked at each other, knowing that they had to overcome this problem quickly and wisely. They agree to cooperate with Michael and put their feelings behind the job interests.
