Chapter 33: The warmth

Feronica was pensively pensive on her own bed, for some reason she had a dream that felt so real, as if she was indeed in a dark and very empty room.

There are times when people we know appear in our dreams, but what about dreaming of unknown people? A dream can be about anything and no one can limit it. But once again Feronica could not assume this was a common thing.

Feronica suddenly felt warm from her face, in contrast to the sunlight that had been shining earlier, the warmth she felt at this time was more pervasive.

"Well, is the weather this hot now?" Feronica flicked her clothes because she felt the warmth that penetrated it instead of disappearing even now as it spread throughout her body.

Because it was felt quite disturbing finally Feronica moved from the side of her bed to her wardrobe to change clothes and try to ignore the warmth that penetrated it. Incidentally in his closet there was a large enough mirror that could see the entire appearance of the person standing in front of him.

"What?" Feronica was glued to see her reflection in the mirror. His entire body had the red mark of a fiery fire pit, a sight completely different from usual.

"YAHOO!" Feronica couldn't control herself seeing her condition like that. Fear and worry instantly appeared.

"Mom-Mom..What happened to me?" feronica asked as she pointed to herself. He was so shocked to see a different appearance of himself than usual. Now his mother saw him and was ready or unprepared he had to control himself.

"Huh? What do you mean? You're having a nightmare?" Elisabeth saw her daughter's messy appearance in a tangled nightgown and long hair all over the place.

Feronica did not expect her mother to see anything different from her. Is his mother not able to see him or is he pretending?

"Mother, why is there such a strange sign all over me?" Feronica tries to fish for her mother's true opinion. Clearly he saw a red mark burning like fire all over his body, his mother did not see it?

Elisabeth silently shook her head and approached her daughter, tidying up her clothes and her disheveled hair. "Come clean up, I've prepared breakfast in the living room." Elisabeth turned around and left Feronica in confusion there.

Feronica knew that her mother was not pretending, but it was true that she did not see this strange sign. Feronica looked back at the mirror and what she saw was not the same anymore.

"Kok missing?" Feronica no longer saw the image of herself full of red and flaming marks but herself as usual but more presentable because her mother helped her tidy up herself.

"So I didn't see anything before...." Feronica was pensive and thought so quickly that the mark she had seen had disappeared again.

What exactly did that sign appear? Why did it appear and then disappear again? Though from the time lag between Feronica who screamed and her mother who always came not long, so there should be a possibility that this mother saw what she saw earlier.

But in the end it did not happen so, his mother did not have time to see the sign that was on him because it was so fast the sign was gone. Now Feronica can only speculate on what really happened.

Is the sign that appears and then disappears a sign for him? Or is the sign related to something that has happened before? Could it be that the sign that appeared earlier was related to magic?

The possibilities that can happen are diverse and Feronica is not sure which of all the possibilities, everything can happen and not at all.

Feronica was sure she did see the mark all over her body, she was in a conscious state after waking up and the possibility of hallucinations was indeed small.

Regardless of how he judged it Feronica was trying to remain calm now. Indeed, when he saw himself in the mirror felt so real, but in the end his strong arguments can be resisted in various ways.

What if it was just a hallucination? No one could really prove there was anyone other than him who did see the same sign. If there was one, for example, his mother, it would seem strong enough to argue that what he saw was reality.

Besides, it could also be just his mind that was still tired from having to rest after failing the Magic Ability Test, his mind drifted unnoticed and eventually ended up at the previous point. It was just a hallucination.
