chap 2 S2 - Emergency Meeting
The old monk hurried to go to meet the leader of the northern continent. When he arrived in front of the northern continent leader's residence, the old monk was apparently intercepted by the guards.
"What do you need to come here, old monk?" Ask one of the guards.
"I want to give a letter to the leader of the northern continent, please allow me to enter because this is very important!" The old monk insisted he wanted to enter
"Letter? What letter is that? Can we check first?" Ask the other guard.
"This letter cannot be opened, so please let me give it to the leader of the northern continent!" Said the old monk still wanting to enter to give the letter.
Still not allowing anyone else to enter, the two guards agreed to have the old monk hand over the letter to the two of them so that they would both deliver it to the leader of the northern continent.
"Sir, what if it was us who delivered it to the leader of the northern continent and the monk could wait here for a while! How, what does the monk want?" Ask one of the guards.
"Okay, here's the letter. Please convey it immediately to the leader of the northern continent huh!" Said the old monk while handing over the letter.
After receiving the letter from the old monk's hand, the two guards went inside to deliver the letter to the leader of the northern continent. During the journey to the northern continent leader's room, the two guards discussed the contents of the letter the old monk had brought.
"Hey, what do you think this letter is about? It's written but I can't read it. Can you read it?" Ask one of the guards to the other.
"I don't know, I'm not very good at reading because I didn't graduate when I was studying in college" replied the other guard.
"But this seems like an important letter" replied the other guard.
"I think so, too," said the other guard, agreeing with the other guard's words.
Still guessing the contents of the letter, they decided to quickly deliver the letter to the leader of the northern continent.
Not long after, they arrived at the northern continent leader's room.
"Excuse me sir, there's a letter for you" said one of the guards, knocking on the door.
The two guards finally entered and handed the letter to the leader of the northern continent. After opening and reading the contents of the letter, suddenly the leader of the northern continent told the two guards who delivered the letter to call the old monk who brought the letter as soon as possible. Due to the orders from the leader of the northern continent, the two guards immediately rushed to pick up the old monk waiting outside the residence of the northern continent leader.
As the two guards went to pick up the old monk who was carrying the letter, on the other hand, the leader of the northern continent immediately told the other guards to immediately go to the other five continents to invite them to come to the northern continent.
"Hurry up to the other five continents and say there's an emergency meeting!!" The leader of the northern continent looked panicked.
Having heard the orders from the leader of the northern continent, all of them immediately rushed away. On the other hand, the two guards who had gone to pick up the old monk had already reached the northern continent leader's room with the old monk.
After seeing the old monk, the leader of the northern continent immediately approached the old monk and asked him a few things about the letter the old monk had brought.
"Sir, where did you get this letter? And who gave it to you?" Asked the leader of the northern continent while grasping the contents of the letter.
"I got the letter while I was cleaning up at the temple. At that moment came three people wearing black robes and straw capes. They asked me for a drink. After they drank, all of a sudden they gave me the letter and then immediately left, "the old monk replied according to what he had experienced.
"So they just told the monk to deliver this letter to me?" Ask the leader of the northern continent.
"They just told me to deliver it. And at first I didn't know who the three of them were, but when I saw that there was a "organization of darkness" in the letter, I rushed to deliver the letter because I had heard that the dark organization was a malicious organization" said the old monk.
After all the explanations from the old monk, the leader of the northern continent sent a message to the entire northern continent to discuss the organization of darkness. And as his affairs were finished, the old monk left the northern continental leader's residence and returned to his temple at the edge of the forest.
But on the way back to the temple, the old monk meets again the drunken man he had previously run into. The man was seen lying in front of the capital's gate. The man actually looked extremely chaotic with a body filled with the smell from the liquor and extremely unruly hair. Out of pity, the old monk walked up to him and tried to reprimand him.
"Sir, what's your name?" Ask the old monk.
Despite being questioned many times by the old monk, the drunken man only replied in an obscure muttering manner. Dazed by how to talk to the drunken man, the old monk finally gave him a book on the teachings of the Buddha. The old monk placed the book near the drunken man lying down. After that, the monk left the drunken man along with a book about the teachings of the Buddha.
