chap 73 - The Demon Gate

However, when Ryuji examined every corpse there, there was no sign of physical attack or attack from any weapon. Ryuji is even more confused by what hit thousands of bodies. For hours walking there, Ryuji continued to pass through the bodies he had marked. As if despite taking a different path, ryuji will still find the bodies - the same bodies.
