The Soul Substitute Trash of the Duke Family

The Soul Substitute Trash of the Duke Family
Chapter 5

"Sister Jim, what if we practice?" Leona's proposal makes Jim bow respectfully.

"But Miss, I'm just a waiter." Jim's words are polite.

"A waiter doesn't have to do the job of a waiter, you should be able to at least protect yourself. Moreover, I have no bodyguards. You could be troubled later." Leona said at length.

Jim touched. Apparently Leona was very concerned about her safety.

"Good, Miss." Jim firmly. He had not trained for a long time since he was in the academy.

Leona approached Jim and looked around him. Looks like this place is suitable for training.

"First, let's warm up first. We're running from here to the top of that waterfall." Said Leona while pointing to the top of the waterfall. Although not steep, but the terrain is very difficult to pass.

Jim gulped his saliva forcefully with cold sweat running down his temple. He was hesitant if he could cross that hurdle.

"You ready, Jim?" Leona asked as she took a swing.

"Ready, Miss."

"Start!"

They began to run towards the path located next to the waterfall. Roads that are sloping and filled with rocks do not make them dampen their steps.

Leona and Jim jumped over the rocks nimbly. They were now running quickly towards an uphill road filled with some wooden items. Leona quickly jumped up and ran leaving Jim who was left behind.

Jim was getting tired. He forced himself to follow Leona who first arrived at the second level waterfall. While Leona ran while picking up some plants found around the waterfall. It seems that there are many plants that are suitable for medicine and poison.

Leona now started running towards the waterfall which was on the top level. The road here turned out to be quite steep but still passable. There are many herbs here and Leona decided to pick all the plants considering this place is very steep and rarely passed.

Jim is now starting to catch up with Leona who is busy picking plants. His body is starting to get tired. As he arrived behind Leona and was about to precede her, the young man's leg slipped and almost fell down.

Realizing that, Leona takes out a chain of chakra and captures Jim. Leona quickly jumped up and arrived at the third waterfall.

"Thank you, Miss." Jim said as he adjusted his breath.

"You're good, Jim. You need another exercise." Leona's Comments. "As a punishment, you have to do 50 push ups and 50 sit ups. I'll be right back."

After the young man's breathing was normal and his fatigue waned, Jim immediately obeyed his nona. While Leona immediately went around looking for some food for lunch, considering that today her stomach had started to get hungry.

Leona entered the forest and was amazed by its contents. The forest is natural and awake. It seems like no one has entered this forest.

Leona saw a sun bear lying covered in wounds. There was an arrow stuck in his leg. Leona watched the bear closely.

The bear has brown fur that looks soft, the bear's eyes are blood red which makes it look adorable.

The bear growled as it saw Leona approaching towards him.

"Don't be afraid. I'll treat you." Leona flat. After making sure the man before her did no harm, the bear calmed down.

Leona began to carefully pull out the arrow and drain the green chakra. Slowly the bear's wounds began to close.

After the wound on the bear's leg healed, Leona said flatly. "I've treated the wound on your leg. Go."

Leona stood up and left the bear. His eyes saw a turkey looking for food not far from his place.

Soon Leona reached into her pants pocket and took a shuriken and threw it at the turkey until her head was removed from its place.

Leona immediately picks up the headless turkey cock and leaves, worried Jim would be confused to look for it.

Jim who had finished doing sit ups laid himself on the ground due to exhaustion. Breath hunting. After resting for a while, he realized that the day had gone by and the lady had not returned. He was worried that something might happen to his nona.

Jim was immediately alert when he heard the sound of bushes moving not far from him. Even though he was only a servant, his instincts were still sharp. Leona soon appears with a turkey and behind her is followed by a small bear.

"Miss, you're finally back." Excited Jim relieved. He was worried something might happen to his wife. "By the way you're from anywhere and why did you leave this adorable bear cub?" Jim asked in a row as he stared at the brown bear cub who followed Leona from behind with a sparkle. Leona frowned and looked back.

'Baby bear?' Leona's inner self as she looked at the bear looked at her with a pleading gaze.

"I leave it to you, Jim." Said Leona and immediately cleaned the turkey chicken catch.

"Let me, Miss."

"You'd better keep this and make a fire." Said Leona while handing over a cloth package containing various types of plants. Immediately Jim put it into his dimensional space.

The baby bear plunged into the river and caught some fish that were quite large. After cleaning the turkey, Leona cut it into pieces and stabbed it in a tree branch that Jim had prepared without orders. Leona took out some herbs and smeared the turkey meat.

Luckily Jim was always on standby. He took out some kitchen herbs from his dimension room and handed them to Leona. The girl received it and concocted the herbs and smeared the turkey.

"Jim, burn this."

Jim took it and burned the turkey.

The brown bear cub came with a large fish and handed it to Leona.

"You gave it to me?" Ask Leona. The bear nodded.

"I already have turkey meat. Just for you." Leona Sahut.

The bear looked at Jim who was grilling turkey meat and looked at the fish he caught sadly.

"alright. Give it to me." Said Leona who made the bear cub sparkle instantly.

Leona immediately cleaned up the bear catches and seasoned them.

The cub stared at the fish that Leona was now piercing with sparkling eyes. Soon the bear cub handed it to Jim.

"Oh~ Smartnya~" Praised Jim when he saw the bear carrying two skewers of raw fish and handed them to Jim. "Are you telling me to bake it?" Jim asked and looked at the bear with sparkling eyes. The bear nodded.

Jim immediately burned the fish and was followed by Leona who brought seven fish that had been cleaned and seasoned.

While waiting for the meat and fish to ripen, Jim looked at Leona with a lowered gaze.

"Sorry, Miss. This month Mr. Duke did not give you your monthly money." Jim said carefully.

"What is the personal servant who receives monthly money from each of his employers?" Leona asked as she turned the fish and meat before her.

"Yes, Miss."

"That's it. Looks like I'll be out of the Castallio residence soon." Leona's voice without burden.

"But Miss, you are the legitimate daughter of Duke Castallio. You must maintain your position." Jim said no.

"Even though I am the legitimate daughter of the Duke though, they never thought I existed. They always put their crybaby children first. After all, being a noble was troublesome. All actions are noticed by the people and become talk. If they had a daughter, they would sell her for power and position. You know, Jim. I'd rather live a day than have a family but never be considered to exist." Leona's words made Jim speechless. He did not know that this woman was living a very hard life.

"I understand, Miss. I'm sorry."

The meat and fish have matured. Leona immediately picked it up and gave it to Jim and the cub and to herself. The fragrant smell of fragrant as they made their saliva almost drip.

"Jim, eat. Here you are not at the Castallio residence. Caste is not needed here." Leona insisted.

Jim accepted it with pleasure. This is very kind and attentive. She is grateful to be Leona's personal servant and promises to look after the girl despite sacrificing her life.

They ate while enjoying a beautiful afternoon. The view of the forest with a red twilight sky makes them feel at home for a long time there.
