In Mathius and Tobi's magic school also run a selection test of students who are eligible to participate in the national magic tournament, Mathius and Tobias also follow the selection, selection is done by complaining about the talent of students, namely by duel 1 on 1, in the elimination session Mathius and Tobias won easily when the actual match Mathius met with a very talented noble, they both pitted magic very fiercely, in all honesty, Mathius refrained from causing any casualties in the selection and only used small-scale magic, he didn't even use black fire magic that was supposedly fire magic that the fire god used, but he was able to win the selection and get into the quarter-finals, and with Tobias, he went into the quarter-finals.

In the quarter-finals, Mathius's enemies become stronger, as well as Tobias's enemies, who become his own cousin's older brother who enters the same school of magic as himself, however, Mathius begins to get used to using high-level magic and can finally defeat his enemies easily, but fate is bad for Tobias who was defeated by his own cousin's brother and in the final round of Mathius against Tobias' older cousin Solid, he is very good at launching lightning magic attacks, and by the time Mathius fought Solid, he was a little overwhelmed and finally decided not to hold back and fought the lightning magic from Solid with Mathius' own lightning magic, which was the same as his own,

Victory was won by Mathius, the participants who will be taken to the tournament are the winners of positions 1, 2, and 3, Mathius won first position, Solid won second position, and so on, the third is Tobias, even though he lost in the quarter-finals he scored higher than the participants who suffered another defeat and the three of them were decided to follow the national tournament of the Holy Kingdom.

The morning passed, and the time came to go home from school, when Mathius arrived at the house he told his mother and father

"welcome back my little Mathius" his mother said.

"dad, my mother will be at the national tournament tomorrow" Mathius said.

his father hugged him and said

"that you're so great even though you're not even 2 this year Mathius I don't think I'm so lucky to be your father" while feeling moved.

"Thank you, mom, I love you both so much, I don't want to lose you."
