The Strongest Sword God Reincarnation

The Strongest Sword God Reincarnation
Chapter 41. The Hull in the City

Red Leaf Town, Fountain Square.

The entire square was colored red by the setting sun. There were quite a number of Lifestyle players [1] who prepared food stalls and sold unique snacks in the God's Domain.

These snacks taste delicious, and they are much better than real-life delicacies. Also, the selling price was only 2 or 3 Copper. That's really a very cheap price.

Many players would come here to rest and taste the delicacy of the God's Domain after a fierce battle for one day. Finally, they could only obtain tens of Copper in a single day, and after deducting the cost spent, they would only be left with a little more than ten Copper. So, giving them a good treat should not be a problem.

There were several couples sitting on stone benches, chatting. They ate the food they bought while enjoying a wonderful time.

Suddenly, all the players in Red Leaf Town received a System Announcement.

System: A player has triggered a special storyline. "The "Little Fish-Man Rebellion" had been activated. An Expeditionary Mission had been activated in Red Leaf Town. Players can now receive Expeditionary Missions from Adventurers Groups. Completing the Expeditionary Mission would reward players with abundant rewards and Group Reputation.

All the players were surprised. In Red Leaf Town, a place where Missions were extremely rare, there was actually an Expeditionary Mission. Moreover, the rewards are incredible. That's really unimaginable.

"Who's the great guy who triggered the special storyline?"

The player who achieved this feat attracted the attention of every player in Red Leaf Town. Everyone was wondering what great reward this player got for activating the storyline. However, activating the storyline is a rare occurrence. So how can the rewards be a little?

Quite a few players are starting to have their own evil thoughts. They wanted to kill the player who activated the storyline Mission. Unfortunately, the System Announcement did not reveal the player's name. Compared to the other players, the various large Groups were in chaos. At this stage, other than completing a Dungeon, not a single Mission was able to increase the Group Reputation.

A Group needed a Group Reputation to level up. As long as their Group could reach Level 2 a step earlier, they would be able to obtain the corresponding Group's advantage, creating an advantage over the other Groups.

Currently, the other Cities surrounding the Scarlet River also received the same System Announcement; not just Red Leaf Town. All the big groups began to strategize for their eradication efforts against the Little Fishman.

Meanwhile, Shi Feng, who was the cause of all this uproar, was currently sitting inside the Auction House.

The auction house was a very comfortable place. The items placed for auction by players were not only limited to Red Leaf Town; they could be seen and purchased in hundreds of Towns and Small Towns under the influence of Red Leaf Town. However, the Auction House was very cunning. They charge a 5% maintenance fee for all items auctioned, so items there are usually very expensive.

However, the Auction House was undoubtedly the best place for players to sell certain items anonymously. Also, it had been quite a while since the God's Domain had begun. The players had collected quite a lot of Coins, and the large Groups should have already raised a lot of funds. If Shi Feng set up a stall in Red Leaf Town, not only would he attract attention, he might as well be targeted by people like Flaming Tiger.

More importantly, the reason Shi Feng chose the Auction House was that too few players present in Red Leaf Town could afford the items he planned to sell. However, it was a different story if there were hundreds of Cities competing for such items.

Hence, Shi Feng placed the Iron Mysterious Plate Armor in the Auction House, setting its base price at 25 Silver Coins. Then, he placed five pieces of Bronze Equipment, with the base price of the Plate Armor at 3 Silver Coins, and the others at 2 Silver Coins. As for a Level 10 Fine-Gold Sword Saint, the outcome of his placement in the auction would be too frightening to imagine. This weapon was worth at least 2 Gold Coins, which was equivalent to 200 Silver Coins. Right now, even 1 Silver Coin was extremely valuable; so who would be able to afford the weapon?

Following which, Shi Feng searched his bag through the half-transparent screen. Initially, players are given a bag that has 100 gaps. However, it was far from enough for Shi Feng. Each player can use a maximum of seven bags. So, Shi Feng immediately bought the six largest bags currently available. Each bag had 25 slits, and each sold for 40 Copper Coins. Six bags means 240 Copper Coins. Such an amount would definitely not be able to be bought by a normal player, but it was only a small amount for Shi Feng.

Shi Fengs storage space increased a lot after using the six bags. Following which, Shi Feng left the Auction House and set up a stall not far from it. He had absolutely no interest in the Storyline Mission he had triggered.

He won't fight over the prize with the others. He already had hers; so it was only appropriate for the others to have leftovers.

"Buying Magic Essence and Stones in bulk. A stack of [2] Magic Essence for 6 Copper; a stack of Stones for 10 Copper." Shi Feng shouted out loudly.

However, there was still a sea of players who did not know how to deal with these materials. They would usually sell these materials to NPCs at a low price. A stack of 20 bottles of Magic Essence sold for 5 Copper, and a stack of 100 Stones sold for 9 Copper. Shi Feng bought them at a price of 1 Copper Coin higher, so there were quite a number of players willing to sell their materials to him. An additional 1 Copper coin per stack would still be a significant income.

Magic Essence was one of the materials needed to make the Garrison Armor. In addition, a large amount of Copper Ore and Bronze Ore was also needed. These ores were barely available, and all the large Groups bought them in bulk. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get them.

Shi Feng had also originally planned to grind the ore. However, now that he had the Philosopher's Stone, the ore was no longer a problem. Philosopher's Stone can perform Elemental Purification. That means it can purify the Stone. There was a great opportunity to obtain ores, even rare ores. There was absolutely no need for Shi Feng to directly grind the ore; he could afford it at a very low price. Because of this, tens of thousands of players had effectively become Shi Fengs workers.

Very quickly, a large crowd of players gathered in front of Shi Feng.

"Sister, here I have 6 stacks of Magic Essence. Will you take it?"

"I have 3 stacks of Stones; do you want them?"

Many players began to ask Shi Feng, worried that his bag would fill up. After all, they only had too many Magic Essences and Stones. No player was willing to buy these materials. However, it was also a shame to only sell them to NPCs, so the materials only stayed inside their bags.

"I'll take everything. Exchange it," Shi Feng said.

Before this, Shi Feng had accumulated quite a fortune. Including his transaction with Gentle Snow, he had quite a number of Coins. Shi Feng could of course purchase Magic Essences and Stones in bulk.

A player sold three stacks of Magic Essence here ... A player sells five stacks of Stones there ... In a moment, Shi Feng had obtained 60 stacks of Magic Essence and 85 stacks of Stones. The money left in his pocket was less than 10 Copper now.

"Sorry, but I'm full," Shi Feng packed his stall after explaining.

Suddenly, the faces of the many remaining players who had come to sell their Magic Essences and Stones were filled with disappointment.

"Sister, are you still going to buy it in the future?" A player asked.

"Yes, I'll buy it. However, it was still one more period before I bought it. You can all keep it for now." Shi Feng firmly said. The amount of Magic Essence and Stone that Shi Feng had just purchased was far from enough for him to become an Advanced Forging Practitioner [3].

After leaving the business path, Shi Feng arrived at the Forging Association. He paid 5 Copper to rent a Basic Forging Room for one hour.

Inside the Basic Forging Room, all the equipment needed for forging was provided; players did not need to purchase their own equipment. The Intermediate Level Forging Room was much better; it could increase the Forging success rate by 3%. However, it costs 1 Silver per hour to use the room. As for the Advanced Forging Rooms, they were not available in the smaller Cities. They are only available in the city. However, their prices were very surprising.

TL Notes:

[1] Lifestyle players: Players who focus on their Additional Work are Forgers, Alchemists/Makers of Potions, etc.

[2] stack: This is a game term used to refer to a group of the same items that will only occupy one space/gap in the player's bag. The pile of such items had the maximum limit for the number of items that could be stored in a single crack, that was a stack of Magic Essences containing 20 bottles. If a player had 21 bottles of Magic Essence a second stack would be made in the player's bag.

[3] Advanced Forging Practitioner: Forging can be differentiated into several stages, namely Forging Practitioner -> Forging -> Forging Master -> Forging Grandmaster. These stages are then differentiated into three different ranks, Basic -> Intermediate -> Advanced.
