The Substitute Sister-in-law

The Substitute Sister-in-law
There's a fear

The night had come, all the family members were already in the room room. Only Gane and Nanney haven't been out of the room. Mother Sere who did not see the two, immediately called out to her.

"David," call Mother Sere.

"Yes Ma, what's wrong?" answer and ask.

"Mom asked to call your sister Gane, invite her to dinner together. Tell him, everyone's waiting in the dining room." Mother's orders.

"Good, Ma." David answered, then he immediately rushed to the room belonging to his cousin.

Likewise with Mother Sere, she also went to the room of her nephew.

The sound of the door being knocked by David was quite surprising Gane who was busy with his cellphone. Lazily, Gane finally opened the door of her room.

"What's wrong?" ask Gane who doesn't like stale bases.

"Everybody's been waiting for Brother for dinner." David replied, Gane was breathing roughly in any direction.

"I'm still full, tell the waiter to take his dinner to my room." Gane said at once giving orders to David.

"But Brother, you shouldn't have dinner together." David tries to persuade Gane.

"I'm not having a taste for food, just bring dinner to my room." Gane answered uncontested for what he had said.

David, who did not want to provoke his emotions, immediately left in front of his cousin.

"Well if that's what you are. Gane wants to, I'll tell the waiter to deliver the food." David said and immediately came out of Gane's room, while Gane himself suddenly got an idea that out of nowhere came.

"Wait," stop Gane from leaving David's room. At that moment, David immediately turned his body.

"Yes, what's wrong?" ask David.

"Tell the housekeeper. After he finished eating, get his wife to get her dinner to my room." Gane replied, giving David a message.

Instantly, David seemed to not believe listening to what the brother ordered.

"Sir Nanney means that? why not just waitresses, brother?" david asked in astonishment.

"You don't have to ask too many questions, just tell me this message is the same waiter." Gane replied that he did not like to be denied, David himself could only agree with what was ordered by his cousin.

"Good, Brother." David answered with a nod.

"Yes, come out of my room." Send Gane to his cousin's sister.

"Yes, brother, yes." David said and immediately left in front of his brother.

'How weird is Gane, why must it be Nanney who has to deliver the night? does Gane like Nanney's sister? it seems impossible. Brother Gane has never been interested in women, really make curious.' Inner David while descending the stairs.

After arriving at the dining room, he saw Nanney sitting next to Mother Sere.

"David, where's Gane?" ask Mr. Pras.

"Sister Gane is still full, he said. Oh yeah, I almost forgot." David replied, remembering a message from his cousin.

"Sister Gane asked Brother Nanney to deliver his dinner to Kak Gane's room, so the message." David replied, everyone in the dining room turned to Nanney.

"Nanney?" they all mentioned Nanney's name together.

"Yes, Brother Nanney." David repeated his sentence.

Nanney himself recalled the threat from Gane. Threats of torture and revenge for her husband's death.

'Is Brother Gane really going to avenge me? and tonight will begin soon.' Inner Nanney was full of fear, and certainly made her appetite instantly disappear.

"Don't be so prejudiced, there might be something Gane wants to tell Nanney. Never mind, let's go get dinner. But earlier you called the waiter to leave his dinner for Gane." Said Mr. Pras and appointed his son to call the servant.

"Good, Pa." David replied, while the others just nodded.

"Nanney, you don't be afraid. Gane's a good guy, maybe there's something to tell you. Don't think no-no, let's continue the dinner. You must take care of your health, do not be too late in grief." Mother Sere's words calmed Nanney's agitated heart.

"Yes Aunt, thanks for being nice to Nanney." Nanney replied a little awkwardly and also embarrassed.

"Yes, brother, don't be afraid of Gane." Said Vandu chiming in, Nanney himself nodded and smiled faintly at Vandu.

After one waiter brought Gane dinner, the others began to take their own portions.

With his mind quite unfazed, Nanney felt bland to enjoy his dinner. Even to remember her own husband had passed, which was in Nanney's mind now there was only Gane and Gane.

Which is always ringing at the threat that is very scary, Nanney thought full of worry.

Long enough to enjoy dinner with the husband's family, it does not feel that everyone has finished enjoying dinner. Now there is Mother Sere and Nanney who are still in the dining room.

"Nanney, you're okay, right?" asked Mother Sere to throw her daydream.

"Yes,Tante. Sorry, I'm daydreaming." Nanney replied with embarrassment, Mother Sere smiled looking at her.

"It's okay, Aunt can understand it. Oh yeah, if you don't mind, you can deliver Gane's dinner right now. If you're afraid, let the waiter deliver it."

"Nanney doesn't mind, Auntie." Nanney said reassuringly, because he was still reminded of the words of a house assistant named Msbak Lina. Nanney can't just forget, she's afraid that Gane will get angry with her.

"You sure? if you're afraid, let the waiter deliver it."

"No, Auntie. Nanney did not mind. Maybe it's true what Uncle, Auntie said." Nanney said she was trying to stay calm, despite the fact that she was very afraid that she would be treated badly by her sister-in-law.

"Yes if you don't mind, if there's anything you call Auntie, or something else." Mommy Sere.

"Yes, Aunt. Then Nanney's taking dinner to Gane's room." Nanney said quite tense and also afraid, of course. Mother Sere nodded and smiled at Nanney.

With a very careful heart, Nanney walked carrying a tray containing dinner for Gane. And now at Gane's doorstep, Nanney's heart beat.

'Tap, no, tap, no.' Inner Nanney with a million prejudices over what to do from her sister-in-law.

Not wanting to linger in front of the door, Nanney finally ventured to knock on the door. Although it was actually afraid, as much as possible Nanney threw away the fear.
