THE SUN GOD SWORD

THE SUN GOD SWORD
Geni Sungsang

A young man said with a boasting in front of the destroyed college, He looked at each opponent who had fallen one by one, then spat on the ground, then he said. “I think the golden stick college is very strong as told, but it turns out to be just nonsense.

Now I realize no one can beat me.”

He waited for a while, hoping that there were warriors who were not happy with his words and then faced resistance, but apparently none of the warriors there dared to challenge him.

Many people watched the fight from afar, hid from behind trees or gathered behind houses, some of them warriors, but no one dared to come forward against the young man, even to see his eyes was reluctant.

The young man looked at the overcast sky with his sad eyes, the rain seemed to be coming down with a rush to clean up the blood stains that were splattered on the ground as a result of his fight with 30 warriors from the golden staff college.

After that he walked towards the burning rubble of the building, then he sat on a black stone facing his partially unconscious opponents.

He began to count, this was the 20th college he had destroyed by himself, and on average left buildings destroyed in flames.

The young man could only take a deep breath, then take it out slowly, “This life is just an irony once.”

His name was Sungsang Geni. He was the son picked up by a widow named Selasih 15 years ago, he was found in the wilderness while Selasih was looking for firewood.

No one ever knew how the little baby could be in the middle of a dense forest, and how it could be protected from the wild beasts that roamed about.

Selasih who had long craved a very grateful son was given the opportunity to have a child, although not born from his womb.

Selasih was aware that the little baby she picked up had the blessing of the sun fire in her right arm, therefore every day she always prayed for the sun god because it had given her a strong child.

Sometimes Selasih says ‘jaga your son’in every prayer shown to the sun god, or keep ‘son kita’.

The blessing of the sun fire that Sungsang Geni possessed could give rise to a very hot fire, with that power he could have burned any object with just a flick of his index finger.

But despite having advantages, Selasih never taught her son to be arrogant and must always be grateful despite living in infirmity, therefore many people like her.

Since little Sungsang Geni has been accustomed to fasting, hunger restraint has been very common for him because Selasih is very poor.

A rotten and fragile hut, Sungsang Geni spent a lot of time helping his mother split wood to sell to the city, only to buy food and sisahnya buy used books.

Sungsang Geni loved to read, so he had little knowledge of the world.

But one time when he was only 14 years old he had nightmares many times, making Selasih very worried.

“Mother I saw a black fog approaching me.” said Sungsang Geni every waking from his nightmare, “The fog that tried to extinguish the fire in my hands.”

Selasih just hugged her son every waking from a dream, as a mother who knew nothing, Selasih could not do much for her son.

But one night, Sungsang Geni dreamed of a black fog enveloping his body and strangling his neck until it felt narrow, blocked by his heart he accidentally released a large fire throughout his body to expel the fog.

When he realized, it was too late that nothing was separated but the fire that blazed from his body.

The death of his mother made a very deep wound in his heart, Sungsang Geni cried for 2 days making his eyes swollen and black.

He blamed himself for the death of his mother. Because of that sadness, a part of the forest was burning as an uncontrollable fire came out from his palm.

After his mother's death, Sungsang Geni's habits changed, he became very grumpy and like to say rude, he started to like the fight and test the blessings of the sun fire he had.

He began to go to the small colleges around him, challenging them to fight, although most of them were not killed, but they suffered severe burns and a crushing defeat.

“Only because of the power of fire in your hands, make you a big head. You are too arrogant young man,” an old beggar who covered his face with a straw hat walked down behind Sungsang Geni fearlessly.

The one who saw it tried to tell the beggar not to deal with Sungsang Geni, but the beggar ignored their warning.

“Peach that old beggar.”

“Why did he not immediately go away from the young man?” some people were talking about the beggar.

“What do you mean beggar? Are you challenging me? If anyone is able to bleed from my body, I will make him my teacher,” Sungsang Geni then laugh out loud, because for him there is no way anyone can defeat him. “I swear on my mother's name.”

“Then go to the rock hill, you will meet a man nicknamed Ki Alam Sakti.” After saying so the beggar immediately went to a small forest near the golden scepter college and disappeared.

Hearing the beggar's words, Sungsang Geni approached an old man who was not far from his place, “Pak Tua told me where is Bukit Batu?”

“Show shorts..” The old man pointed at a small hill on the west side with his hands shaking with fear.

“Thank you Old man,” said Sungsang Geni, then walked away from the village.

For days he walked without a sure clue, into the forest out of the forest, down the deep valley up the high hill, stopping some villages to ask how long he had arrived at Batu hill.

One month at last Sungsang Geni arrived at the foot of the rock, but he was again upset because there was no sign of the college standing in that place.

There are only green moss plants, and dwarf trees adorn the expanse of steep black stone.

He began to look for other clues, surrounding the hill like a madman until Sungsang Geni finally found a ladder from the stone structure that climbed towards the top of the rock hill.

“Definitely up there, a person named Ki Alam Sakti is.” he said with full confidence.

Without thinking long Sungsang Geni immediately passed the stairs, but it turned out that the stairs were very long and winding, Sungsang Geni has 9 times rest but the journey has not been half.

“Crazy, I didn't expect climbing stairs to be so tiring.” Sungsang Geni set his breath severed, his face looks red and sweat wetted his whole body “If I had the science of lightening the body, it certainly would not be this difficult.”
