Wang Yin narrowed her eyes, trying to see clearly towards the body floating in the waterfall pond. With a pounding heart, he descended from his Guinea Mynah bird and stepped slowly towards the body.
However, before Wang Yin could reach the body, an unexpected attack came toward him. A disc was hurtling at high speed, threatening his life. Wang Yin immediately jumped dodging, holding her breath in suspense. He felt a gust of wind from the disc as it passed through his body.
He closely observed the movements of the discs that flashed nearby.
"The attack was so sudden. Is he targeting me?"
Wang Yin's heart was pounding as incessant disc attacks came. Each disc shot through the air at incredible speed, threatening to pierce through anything in its path. He could feel the tension of the situation increasing as the sharp eyes of the disc glittered.
The air was filled with tension as the discs sliced through the air, leaving a dangerous trail. Wang Yin nimbly jumped, rolled, and slid away dodging attacks after attacks that came. Each time the disc approached, he felt a gust of wind piercing his skin, revealing just how sharp and incredible the speed of the discs were.
In that precarious state, Wang Yin was desperate. One sharp disc floated rapidly towards him, not giving him enough time to dodge.
With a shocking speed, the disc sliced through Wang Yin's skin, leaving deep wounds on her body. A stabbing pain hit him, reminding him of the real danger. Fresh blood flowed from his wound, splashing on the ground.
Wang Yin felt a throbbing heat on her skin, and tension and worry filled her mind. He understood how powerful this weapon was, at an unimaginable speed.
His face stiffened, his eyes radiating sharpness, reflecting his profound firmness and vigilance. Although his body was injured, Wang Yin did not let the pain overwhelm him.
Wang Yin's hand clasped the wounds on her body fiercely, trying to control the blood flowing. He sighed deeply, trying to calm down for a moment. As Wang Yin tried to make sense of the situation that was going on, she saw the body that was previously floating in the waterfall pond had disappeared instantly.
Wang Yin was surprised, “No way! That body... Just a trap!”
Wang Yin closed her eyes for a moment, letting her mind work quickly. He tried to connect the information points he had in mind, looking for patterns and weaknesses in the disc attack. Wang Yin recalled how quickly the discs moved, how they shrewdly avoided every attempt of his protection.
He thought about the speed and accuracy of the attack, and tried to understand the strategy behind the attack. As Wang Yin connected the information points, a theory of thought began to form in his mind. He realized that such disc attacks were unlikely to move randomly. There was a certain ingenuity behind the attack.
"By creating a trap by displaying a body that appears injured. It was just a trick to let me off guard and exploit the opportunity."
Wang Yin pondered for a moment, racking her brain to find the right way to lure the person who was behind the attack of the disc. He wanted to uncover the identity and true purpose of this attack. Quickly, a plan formed in Wang Yin's mind.
He realized that he had to show himself as a weak and easily conquered target.
That way, he hoped that the person would show up and deal with it head-on. Wang Yin took a few steps back, letting the disc pass thinly in front of her.
He showed a visibly hurt and confused expression. Wang Yin deliberately made an impressive gesture of helplessness. He tightened the fake wounds on his skin, revealing signs of weakness that seemed unavoidable.
All of that was done with the intention of luring the person into appearing and showing himself.
Not long after, there were sounds of footsteps approaching. Wang Yin pretended not to be aware of the person's presence, but she remained vigilant and ready to act. His heart was pounding, waiting for the right moment to reveal the presence of his enemy.
Wang Yin managed to lure the person who attacked her, who had apparently been hiding on top of a tree with her powers that could fuse with nature. The person was an Assassin, a type of hitman who was famous for his skill in killing efficiently and without leaving a trace.
Assassins are known for being skilled and deadly destroyers, working in the shadows and moving agilely in the midst of darkness.
“You sent the disc attack. Who are you exactly?”
The woman who attacked Wang Yin was a terrifying female Assasins. His eyes were a sharp brown color, reflecting the sharpness of his killer instincts. His black shoulder-length hair seemed regular, but did not attract attention, in keeping with the characteristics of the Assasins who were always trying to disappear in the crowd.
To disguise his identity, he used a face mask that covered most of his face, leaving only the extent of his eyes and forehead visible.
“There's nothing you need to know, Wang Yin. Just know that your life ended in my hands.”
