Arthur swerved avoiding the tornado, and at the same time he put up a position to unleash his sixth sword technique. “Sixth Technique,” whispers while jumping high into the air, “Lightning Eruption!”
The lightning-flooded Excalibur swung sharply from top to bottom, following the fall of the king's body. However, Lukhiel was not a stupid demon; he had already dodged before the blade of Excalibur was above his head. It made the sword slash hit the ground.
Unfortunately, Arthur's technique has not yet been completed. Like the name of this sixth technique, lightning erupted from the hemisphere that his sword caused. All of the lightning exploded up, right, left, and forward. The area of one hundred and eighty degrees in front of him was blown away by the eruption of lightning. And this time, Lukhiel was unable to escape.
Not wanting to waste the opportunity, Arthur's position immediately acts to form different horses again. “Seventh Technique: Lightning Fang!”
The king vanished in a flicker of lightning, and in the next second he was already where Lukhiel had been bombarded by lightning with a sword in a forward-moving state.
Primordial Devil Lukhiel was no longer in his position of being bombarded by lightning; he instantly forced himself away the moment Arthur unleashed his seventh sword technique. However, the devil's efforts did not go perfectly. The forearm of his hand was cut off by the lightning-clad Excalibur puncture. The hand that was still holding the wind sword fell down on the already cooling ground.
The blue flame immediately burned the hand to the point of no silence, and Arthur faced his body to the right, looking intensely at the demon whose one hand had been maimed.
“I have never heard that you raised a disciple,” said the king. “Man, young demon, or half demon?”
Lukhiel gave no verbal response. He glanced at his right hand that could no longer regenerate. Then his eyes landed on Arthur. Prana was out of her body in great intensity, and instantly a high-density, incandescent wind spear appeared on the right, left, and up above her. The number is not just tens or hundreds, but thousands. This spear filled the area around the demon.
Seeing that, Lukhiel immediately realized that it was impossible for him to block all the wind spears that began to spin with his sword or fire techniques. His fire and lightning will be pierced; the wind that is so close together becomes as superior as water. Moreover, Lukhiel not only close the wind, but also heat it.
Unless Arthur decides to use third stage spirit mastery, there is only one way to overcome what the opponent is trying to do. And that way is what he's going to do.
Arthur raised the already glowing golden Excalibur high, and a moment later a surge of energy shot out from the sword like an elevated pillar. The barier that Athrecia had installed instantly shattered into pieces, unable to withstand the golden energy pillar that Excalibur had released. That energy pillar continued to rise to nearly a hundred meters.
“Aegis’—”
“Excalibur—”
“—Spears!”
“—Devastation!”
Along with the wind spears, Excalibur Arthur swung vertically from top to bottom at high speed. In an instant, the energy pillar struck all of the wind spears, creating a loud noise. That energy pillar while still standing upright was indeed small, but once swung he expanded like an opened fan.
For the first second, Aegis’ Spears Lukhiel seemed to be able to withstand the blow of Excalibur Devastation.
However, in the next second it instantly changed drastically. The wind spears that glowed and whirled were crushed to nothing. And in the next second, the sound of an explosion that swiped directly filled the air as the energy hit a large area in front of Arthur, Lukhiel who was there had no room to dodge.
The golden energy disappeared for less than half a minute, but the smoke and dust created lasted for nearly three minutes before then disappearing. The very massive equilateral triangle-shaped fortifications were immediately clearly displayed. The fort varies in depth, from a few centi to a few meters in the middle. And the land became black as charcoal.
Tucked away a dozen meters in front of him was Lukhiel in far from good condition. Half of his right half was destroyed, while the rest was like burning. However, as Arthur approaches him, he appears to be alive. His left hand, despite emitting smoke like ripe meat, had moved to draw the still-slayered sword (magically).
“You really want to give that sword to your student, huh?” arthur asked after stopping two meters from Lukhiel's face.
No answer came. Arthur did not expect an answer. Lukhiel just got hit by Excalibur Devastation. He had not been lucky to die right away, but perhaps it was because the wind spears had halved the power of the Excalibur Devastation. But, obviously, he was lucky.
“But it's a pity that you won't have a chance for that,” continued Arthur as he lifted his glowing Excalibur again. “Your history ends here. The sword did not seem to be an ordinary sword. Holy swords? I'll take it after you die and put it in my collection room.”
There was no response, and he probably didn't hear it either. But Arthur doesn't care. “Death and perish forever, Excalibur Judgment!”
…At least, that's what he thinks.
But—
—freedom Excalibur Judgment is not about Lukhiel.
In fact, Arthur's Excalibur power faded and dissipated before his sword swung perfectly. He has also come out of his spirit-change form. More than that, the demon had disappeared from its place. The one now standing there was a fifteen or six dozen-year-old with his sharp expression.
“...What you just saved the devil i—”
Arthur didn't finish his words.
The attention of the king was suddenly distracted by the witch. Athrecia—, who had been spectator—, had been to the right of the teenager with a fire-clad wand that swung sharply, ready to smash the teenager's head. The witch's face actually revealed a murderous desire.
However, to the surprise of Arthur and even Athrecia, the fire-covered wand was unable to reach the teenager. The stick stopped just a moment from hitting his head. Even the fire attached to the stick was pressed backwards, as if an invisible barrier was blocking it.
“This is a warning,” said the teenager as he crouched down to pick up a sword still clad in bandages. “If Lukhiel can't be saved,” he added while standing, “something when I'll be back. At that time, this kingdom will need a new leader.”
The boy immediately turned around and stepped away – he seemed to no longer care about them.
Arthur blinked at the departure of the teenager. And so is Athrecia. They are still surprised by what happened. Arthur was confused. Not only had the boy stopped one of his Excalibur abilities, he had also kept Arthur out of Flame King Erestheral mode. How did this happen?
Athrecia came out of her shock faster than the king. He directly stuck a magic wand on the ground and fused his fingers together to form a triangle. Magic circles of various colors and in motley and size soon manifested. All the magic circles surround the teenager in the form of a triangular pyramid.
“Maximum Gravitatis!”
Arthur recognized the magic spell that Athrecia had called for. He had seen the immediate effect. It was the spell that made the gravity within the confinement of the circle increase exponentially. If the spell were cast on a hill, it would crumble to ashes. Getting out of that gravitational influence would be very difficult.
The dark blue-haired child spontaneously stopped the footsteps. And, not even a second after Athrecia used her spell, all the magic circles just disappeared. It was the same as what happened to Arthur's previous attack. The teenager described their attacks as as as easy to breathe.
Ignoring the swearing coming from Athrecia's mouth, Arthur re-entered Flame King Erestheral mode and darted in attack. He swung Excalibur strongly, slashing from left to right horizontally. Arthur intended to cut the body into two pieces.
The king expected the child to re-synchronize the Flame King Erestheral mode and then use an invisible barrier to stop it. However, the teenager instead wrapped himself in wind armor and then dodged to the left.
“Great Wind Pressure.”
Arthur was blown away by the wind pressure the teenager was flying. However, it can land well after having caltoed once to reduce momentum. Then he immediately spat out a blue flame from his mouth. The flames shot out rapidly, spreading and swaying like a tsunami.
At the same time, Arthur's left hand was raised upwards. Lightning sparks immediately enveloped the hand. He could not use lightning at such a high level as Lukhiel using the wind, but to simply make a lightning strike he could.
However, before he could get a bolt of lightning, his stomach was pierced by something. It was spontaneous to make Arthur's concentration crumble. The lightning in his left hand disappeared. At the same time, his fire wave simply vanished. And then he saw that the one who pierced through his stomach was a wind sword that extended from the two left fingers of the teenager—when their distance was more than twenty meters!
Arthur immediately fell to his knees as the wind sword faded away and disappeared. It was back out of Flame King Erestheral mode. Athrecia immediately approached him. Dozens of magic circles of various colors and sizes had circled his body. The pain in his stomach began to disappear quickly. Arthur can always count on to see—
