The Tears of Shafira
Chapter 20

“Honey! Why would you take him home, anyway?” said Wulan, while pouring into Erick's arms.

“She is sick and needs treatment, I have to take responsibility for her according to the agreement. So, I have to take care of her!” that was Erick's reason but actually he couldn't refuse his heart.

“But we will still sleep together right?”

“Yes, Shafira let me sleep in her own room!”

“Oh, alright then no problem!” Wulan ketus.

The woman glanced cynically at Shafira and released the hand of the husband from her. He hated the circumstances that were beyond his expectations.  

He had no idea what was going on inside the villa, but he was astonished how Erick would change his mind in an instant. She thought that Ardan might threaten her husband so easily that he would give in.

“Sana, sleep there to your room!” she said, then grabbed Erick's hand and invited him to dinner.  

Miran had already prepared the food she ordered from the restaurant, after returning from shopping. He was relieved that Sapphira had not eaten with them because he had only bought enough food for the three.

Shafira complies with Wulan's wish, to sleep in the room he had occupied before. Moreover, his body also still needs rest, it just so happens that he was not hungry because he had eaten quite a lot in Ardan's house.

“Erick!” call Miran to her son when they are sitting next to her at the dinner table.  

The woman glanced at Shafira's tightly closed room, believing that her daughter-in-law would not hear what she was going to talk about.

“What, Ma!” suhut Erick lazily he took a lot of rice, he was hungry because the fight at Ardan's house drained a lot of energy.

“How are you doing? Why not just divorce her?”

“Who does that mean, Mama? Shafira ... she's my wife Ma, I'm afraid of quality!” erick said as he bribed food into his mouth. He did not care what his mother or Wulan commented on his decision today.

“Reason alone! Kualat what? Mama thought you were going to divorce your wife, you didn't love her, did you?” mirna asked with great emphasis on her son.  

Wulan simply nodded listening to the mother-in-law's congratulations.

“Ma, about love and not love is my business and if I'm afraid of quality, that's no excuse!” sahut Erick's.

“But, Honey! Hasn't he cheated? You already found him in the man's house, right?” Wulan chimed in on Mirna's words.

Erik kept his spoon and stopped chewing. He looked at his wife full of question marks.

“Where do you know? Do you want to spy on me?” tanyanya looks not like, because she feels Wulan meddling in her privacy affairs.

“Not so .. I just guessed!” said Wulan was all wrong and clumsy, “soalnya here she has no brothers and parents ..but she can be fine for these few days! So, where else if not in her affair place!”

“Close your mouth!” erick said, making Wulan grow furious.

Wulan clenched her fists under the table, annoyed at Shafira who had made her husband change. He considers the honey has taken Erik's love and affection from him.

Mirna and Erivk finished their meal, except for Wulan. Suddenly the woman had no appetite, her mind floated up making plans to destroy Sapphira until she was left with nothing. If possible, do not let the woman again in the house of her husband.

At night, Wulan could not sleep because he thought of his brilliant plan in his brain. He hugged Erik while grinning because he had found the right way to get rid of Sapphira.

Just as the woman was about to close her eyes she heard unusual noises in the kitchen. She slowly came out of the room so that her husband would not wake up. As soon as he saw Shafira there, he nodded his head.

Shafira felt hungry and thirsty, probably due to the influence of her pregnancy. He exited the room after making sure everyone was asleep. In his heart he was still afraid if only Wulan or Mirna cheated. Now he must protect himself even better, considering the fetus in his body.  

Shafira finds out that she is pregnant, while at Ardan's house. After hearing the explanation from the doctor Riyan and her nurse. They had checked him thoroughly until they knew he was two-bodied.

Wulan went down, to take a drink as well and her presence shocked Safira.

“You thirsty?” the question is friendly to Shafira, he should not be rude if he does not want to be blamed by Erick.

Shafira nodded after managing to master her shock. Then, he spent the rest of the water in his glass.

“Eh yes, please bring a drink also for Erick, earlier he told me to bring a drink to the top, but I was dizzy, nih!” wulan said, massaging her head, while her hands carried a glass of water that she hid behind her body.

“Oh, yes, I'll bring you!” sahut Shafira was still nervous, because he did not expect Wulan to be friendly to him.

Wulan walked first, leaving Shafira who took a glass of water for Erick.  

Not to forget Wulan poured the water he brought on some stairs. After that he entered the room with a smile, implying a cunning look on his face. She returned to her husband's side.

Shortly after, a loud voice came from the stairs. The sound came from Shafira's shout, along with the rupture of the drinking glass she was carrying.

“Aaahk! Ibuuu!” shafira shouted while holding her stomach and head. While the other part of his body, seen to bleed exposed to broken glass.

Wulan had made Shafira slip from the stairs, to make the woman's body slip and her head hit hard.  

Shafira briefly looked towards the bleeding palm, after holding her head. Then, he saw everything go dark and he could not feel anything.

Erick and Mirna wake up sleepy. They were shocked to hear the sound of screams and a very loud impact.

“What's that sound Dear?” yelled Wulan while shaking her blanket.

Erick stared at his wife while shaking his head.

“I don't know! What is Shafira?” he said leaving the room at a fast pace.

He was shocked when he saw Shafira lying near the stairs. There was a lot of blood pouring out of his head, as well as some other parts of his body.

“Shafira!” erick shouted in panic. He immediately raised Shafira's body onto her lap and stroked her bleeding head.

Mirna was already there she saw the situation was no less panicked.

“Mama, Wulan, you guys are home! I'll take Shafira to the hospital right now!” Erick said while carrying his wife's body.

“Mama! Please get the car keys and please open the door as well!” erick said and he got out quickly from the house to his car quickly too, helped by his mother.

Shafira was immediately rushed to the hospital, at that time her condition was unconscious.  

While Wulan looks disappointed to see her husband's reaction to Shafira. He was surprised since when Erick began to look concerned for his wife, but before Erick did not hesitate to torture. However, for now she cannot show her hatred because it can make her husband or anyone suspicious.

“How do you think Shafira can fall?” ask Mirna after her son's departure to the hospital.
