The Time Limit (16)

"I want to explain everything to you" replied the man.

" Explain what, Yud?", asked Sakha to her best friend. " Explain the charade you're doing by pretending to help me find Lisa? Or your betrayal of me?", asked Sakha cynically.

Sakha and Yudi sat facing each other. Sakha will listen to Yudi's version of the story. However what he believed all along was in his view only. It came from the pieces of events he saw.

Yudi breathed as much as possible. Anyhow he knows he's in the wrong position. He will find no reason to justify his behavior. However, he also hopes his relationship with Sakha can be improved even though it feels difficult. It is foolish to do what he desires at the expense of friendship. He also wants to agree with Lisa's words, where Sakha will not know if she is silent. But the reality is like a proverb, as clever as storing carcasses, someday the smell will be smelled too.

" Why just shut up?" asked Sakha.

Yudi breathed his breath. "I'd like to apologize before. I know, I was wrong." Yudi started with an apology. Then he recounts the beginning of the meeting he and Lisa who ended up making them partners r*nj*ng. Also how the fetus was finally present.

" So, you mean, you're not the first for Lisa? and he did not because he was forced but consciously and only for money?", asked Sakha quite surprised by this fact. He thought they were living a love story behind him, but it turned out to be only a client and a service seller.

" Yes", Yudi replied confirming.

" Why then did Lisa come to me and say she was pregnant with a p3rk0saan child?", wondered Sakha.

" It's just Lisa's way of getting you to come back to her" Yudi replied. " She was going to abort the fetus at first, but when Lisa knew the danger, she didn't do it. He was afraid that he would have to feel pain especially until he died. Finally, he asked me to take his son so that he could return to his profession" Yudi explained.

Sakha was silent. It turns out he has been blinded by love to the point that it is unconsciously being utilized.

" However, after I told her that you would stop looking for her and start focusing on your marriage, Lisa did not accept. He doesn't want to lose you".

Sakha remembers, she did tell Yudi, that she would stop looking for Lisa. So Yudi doesn't call her to give her any more information about Lisa. It happened the day he promised Adel to make Lisa his past.

"Then how are you related to him? Don't you want to marry her?", asked Sakha. However, everything that happened was not entirely the fault of his best friend. Lisa herself was already in that world.

" Lisa doesn't want to. He does not want to be tied to a marriage relationship. He wants to be free", he answered honestly.

Akh, Sakha should be grateful because of the coercion of her parents, she married Adel. Lisa was not as good as she thought.

Sakha did not want to ask too many more questions. The point is he knows what Lisa looks like, and what really happened.

" Please tell him I don't want to be in touch with him anymore. Tell me that our relationship is over ".

I don't know if Lisa will accept it or not. Sakha will not want to see Lisa again for any problems. He was really disappointed. Even how Lisa's condition now does not want him to know.

" I told you a long time ago, leave your bad habits behind. If so, the child is the victim. Being born outside of marriage is not that easy. Not to mention, his mother who did not want to accept it. You know for yourself the view of the public is still there who consider illegitimate children. Though it is clear, the illegitimate was the actions of his parents. The child is born holy to be born out of wedlock though", advises Sakha.

Sakha only pityes the fate of the child even though Yudi is not materially lacking.

"You're right. I feel so guilty now. Moreover, Lisa's rejection he showed blatantly. From starting not to want to touch even breastfeed him. He was just busy to find a way to get his body shape back to how it was", Yudi said.

" Related people always come too late. I wish I wouldn't change what happened" said Sakha

As Syifa promised, the weekend he actually visited Adel. Syifa is not alone, she is now with Tia. Now they are sitting in the living room chatting at a snack brought by the two. However, it is dominated by fruits.

" How have you been to the obstetrician, not yet?", asked Syifa who already knew that Adel was pregnant.

Adel did immediately notify her pregnancy shortly after the results of the testpack were seen.

" hasn't. It will be time to go home" replied Adel.

Syifa and Tia looked at each other. Adel did not say anything related to his residence later after he no longer stayed at Syifa's house.

" Where are you going?", asked Tia at last.

" I intend to stay in the Shop only. The room above I can use for a room" explained Adel.

Adel's shop has two floors. The room on the top floor is usually used to store the stock of materials for cakes. " I did ask Fitri and the others to clean the room" Adel added.

" Are you sure you'll live alone there?", Syifa was worried.

" Yes" answered Adel. " When I stay at my parents' house, I'm bored because I don't have any activities. While it's impossible to also stay with my uncle.

Syifa and Tia allow. Adel's uncle was his father's younger brother. He also lives in City J with his wife and two children. However, his uncle's wife did not like Adel too much even so, Adel responded to him as usual. Both cousins were pretty good, though not too close.

"Yes, maybe it's better. The important thing is that you are comfortable wherever you live. Moreover, you are pregnant", Tia nodded her head.

"What is your business with Sakha?", asked Tia.

" I'll make an appointment to get everything done. Anyway I don't want my status hanging." Obviously Adel while eating apples that have just been finished in the peel.

"On the boy?", asked Tia again.

" Without me telling you, it looks like Sakha already knows",

" Why can?", Syifa and Tia asked simultaneously.

" Before I left I had a pregnancy test, but I haven't had time to see the results and the testpack is still in the bathroom" Adel explained. " It's impossible not to see. The bathroom is in the room and no one can enter the room even to clean up. Sakha doesn't like her room to be in other people" Adel explained at length.

" Are you going to ask for a reference for your son?", asked Syifa.

" I'm not asking for anything. I'll just accept whatever decision Sakha makes. I've fought enough to maintain this relationship."

"If she asks for a referral for the sake of the child?", Tia joined the kepo

" I will consider everything ", Adel replied firmly. " Children need complete parents. However, not only his physique but also his heart. Free we have Sakha but her heart is not with us. This isn't the family I want ".

Adel does have to make sure everything if he decides to refer. Children are a consideration, but not the main thing. Especially if Sakha's heart is still for Lisa.
