Chapter 20 Twisting the Past?

"TELL ME YOU'RE PRETENDING TO BE DEAD, RIGHT? TELL ME CLEARLY KAYLA,"

"PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES AND THIS TIME I WILL LET YOU GO LEAVE THIS MANSION I PROMISE YOU," Felix cried with a trembling tone while hugging the girl's body

Felix did not expect that all he found was a girl with a cold and lifeless body without the smile or regret of the world. Not long after a lifeless body of heavy rain fell around the duke's mansion as if hinting that the world was mourning the loss of the girl's life.

Seira who still lives in the duke mansion, but the different building immediately pulled the neck collar belonging to the duke and shouted with flowing tears about the unfair death experienced by this girl who had just become his friend.

Marques Lucretia, who had gotten the dream of the younger brother leaving him quickly before the information was spread came to the duke's mansion, although it was raining heavily and when the marques asked where his sister was with a cold and frantic look was just a coffin with the body of a cold girl who was sleeping quietly inside.

Felix gives Kayla a letter to the marques, the last letter before she kills herself, before the marques take her sister's mortician to bury her in Lucretia's family cemetery.

A few days later after the funeral was over and everything was taken care of, Felix sat in his chair with a cold look and guilt for Kayla who just wanted to be treated well like a girl in general. A letter that became the last message for him is now on the table written for him and yet dare he is not at all.

"Felix, now you believe not in my words? About you who will get regrets at the end?"

"So now what are you going to do? If you just sit like that and make my job double as much then I won't want to," said Albern who looked with a serious look at the man sitting just looking at a letter in front of him

"Albern, I know I have many faults with you, but can I ask you,"

"Is it possible to turn a time or go back in time? I hope you want to answer honestly,"

"Because I want to make amends for all the mistakes and selfishness that I did to Kayla" said Felix, who suddenly turned the conversation away with a serious look

Albern who listened to Felix's words suddenly widened his eyes towards the man. Kayla was quite surprised by the question asked by the male figure in front of her.

"What does it mean that you will do this even to the extent that it is a treaty that violates the laws set by the gods?"

"Are you not sane? I know you're currently regretting an act that indirectly hurt her, but this has gone too far," albern said by hitting the table to the person in front of her and staring with a frown that had wrinkled

Felix pleads with Albern for a few days, even months, only to be told how to turn back time or change a fate that Kayla should not have. Seeing Felix's desire so high and so in love with a girl, but not being able to reveal his right made his heart twitched to make Albern a scroll that told of the gods.

"In this scroll is mentioned a god who is said to change a person's destiny, this is a valuable inheritance from my family for generations because the god always protects us,"

"You can use that thing if you have great holy power and you don't have it which means you have to beg the Saint miss who has been in the temple," obviously Albern handed me a scroll

"Thank you, you still want to help me in this situation" Felix said with a thin and bitter smile to his old friend who had never heard his words himself

"If it wasn't like that you wouldn't learn, but maybe this is the last one to use well" said Albern, who smiled and patted his friend's shoulder, who had been with him since childhood

Without a second thought Felix went straight to the holy temple to ask for help from a Saint who had the holy power of the immense gods.

"I didn't expect a tyrant Duke to be as shameless as you still dare to appear before me and set foot in front of the sacred temple,"

"Do you want to atone for your sins after Kayla's death?" said Seira who immediately walked with a look of hate and pulled the collar belonging to the figure of a taller man in front of her

All the priests there immediately panicked when they saw the holy maiden messenger of the god doing such a daring thing, to a tyrant who had killed thousands of lives or even countless more.

"I beg you to help me,"

"Help me to call a god who rules time and dreams, because this is all for Kayla's sake" said Felix, who bit his lip and was desperate for what he had done

He knelt before the holy girl in front of all the priests in the room who witnessed it, Seira who looked silent and then slapped hard Felix's cheek.

"How dare you carry Kayla's name in this conversation,"

"You could even lock him up in a room like that makes him desperate and depressed because of the magic you have,"

"You don't know how much she wants to live in this world, she's afraid that her fiance will at times bring a girl in her place,"

"Your cold attitude scares her that you're leaving her why don't you understand that" Seira said with a resentful look at Felix and once again slapped him hard

The priests who saw the angry saint and hit people quickly pulled him away from the duke so that he could calm himself from the emotions.

"Miss Saint, please calm yourself and listen to the explanation first,"

"Maybe he really wants to change and listen to the words of the god that will make him feel calm,'

"Alright, because the chief priest said it and this is all I did for Kayla's sake,"

"I hope you really don't make him suffer if you can make him go home,"
