"Lord duke and Miss Lucretia, congratulations on your engagement,"

Felix just kept silent without comment whereas all the guests who saw Kayla were very scary decided to shut up, but there was someone who suddenly opened his mouth to defend the girl who had just fallen.

Some of the guests present stared at Kayla's disrespectful demeanor making them all quite furious, some of the guests again felt blushed and supported the love between the Duke and his daring fiancee.

'But I didn't understand the reason for causing trouble, so I always scolded him for being naughty, ' Felix said in his heart with a slightly blushed face

"And a man like yourself is not worthy of criticizing himself if he doesn't know the truth that he really doesn't push anyone, he doesn't push anyone, for I saw clearly the girl in front of him walking backwards and losing her footing and then falling over," said Felix who pulled out his sword and pointed towards the neck belonging to the man in front of him with a cold gaze and a strong killing aura

Without a second thought and with a cold gaze Felix slashed at the neck of the man quickly until finally the head of the man was separated from his body and the floor in the middle of the hall began to be drenched in blood, all the guests present were creeped out and frightened to see the tyrant and brutal behavior displayed by the duke in front of the many people all of a sudden.

Kayla who saw the incident before her eyes made her widen her eyes, due to such a cruel and sudden incident, but she tried to remain calm and act brave.

"Do any of you want to talk nonsense and ruin the atmosphere of this engagement party?"

"I will not hesitate to send you to meet the god sooner," said the duke who gave off an aura so sinister that it made everyone in the room speechless not dare to speak

Kayla just sat down not talking on the stairs, because it seemed not her situation to interfere in the conversation.
