Howard's Regret

"Lessy, me and Vinvin have been best friends for the past five years, there's no way I'm going to have to comply with your request."

"Are you not important to our relationship?" ask Lessy.

"I don't think so, why is your mind so narrow."

"Howard, I'm a girl and being your lover, of course I feel very uncomfortable because there are other women who are by your side" Lessy said.

"Him and I have been together a lot as friends when I didn't know you, so I probably ignored her when she was in trouble."

"Howard, but you have a lawyer, why not just call a lawyer to solve his problem?"

"Lessy...."

"Howard, as long as we're together I see you accompany her more often than I do, when you take her call you just go and leave me alone."

"I'm not asking for anything of value from you, I just want you to pay more attention to me, that's all" Lessy said.

"We're not together, what else do you want?" ask Howard.

"I want our relationship to be devoid of a Vinvin presence" Lessy replied.

"Do you know, Vinvin is like my own brother. I've been protecting him for so long because he's my brother. He saved me from a danger that hit me five years ago. a girl who is innocent and not afraid of death she saved me who is foreign to her" Howard said.

"You can pay him a sum of money to return the favor, should not meet often and together.what else I see you with him is very friendly.this is already out of bounds," said Lessy with emotion.

"When we were together, you knew that me and Vinvin were best friends, why are you even having this problem now."

"I just wish you could appreciate how I feel, that's all!"

"Lessy, don't bring this up again, my relationship and Vinvin are best friends other than it doesn't exist anymore."

"What about him? are you sure he has the same mind as you?"

"She was an innocent girl and didn't know the meaning of love, where maybe she had feelings for me. All this time she thought of me as her brother. that's it just that there was nothing else," Howard replied.

"A girl who has grown up cannot possibly not know the meaning of love, she just pretends to be," Lessy replied with emotion.

"Enough, Lessy! can't you often be prejudiced against others? you don't know him at all. I know you didn't like him all this time" Howard snapped, stopping his car.

"Why should you be angry when you say that? are you in love with her? then, what am I to you?" ask Lessy in annoyance.

"Have you ever seen me and him do anything out of bounds?"

"But you guys are so friendly, even hug each other in front of me, do you remember when he was almost hit by a car? you ran straight towards her and hugged her.Are you thinking about how I felt when I saw my boyfriend hugging another woman," Lessy said in a fit of annoyance and exited her car. the girl sulked and stepped up quickly.

"I can't believe you didn't persuade me" Lessy said.

Howard was upset he immediately stepped on the gas and left Lessy there. The man did not want to go down and persuade his lover. because their quarrel is not only once but has been many times during the relationship.

"Howard.you are so heartened to leave me here, I am sure you will regret." cried Lessy.

After half an hour later Howard arrived at his residence, he was not at all worried about his lover whom he had just left behind.

Howard then stepped inside and was reprimanded by someone sitting in the living room.

"Howard, you're here for a second!" greet the man in his sixties.

"Young master, you're home!" the assistant used by Howard's father was a man of his age.

"Papa, it's late. Why haven't you slept yet?" ask Howard who approached his father.

"Sit down with papa!"

"Is there anything you want to talk about?" ask Howard who's sitting on the couch.

"Do you realize what you've done?" ask papa.

"He complained to you again?"

"A girl needs attention, not only do you not budge but leave her on the street, when it's late. aren't you worried she'll be in danger?"

"Pa, he's been living spoiled in his family, there's little problem he complained to here, he doesn't have money or a cell phone.he can call his driver to pick him up" Howard replied.

"Papa does not understand your relationship, why there can be frequent quarrels, in a month papa received a complaint from Lessy a dozen times."

"As an adult woman, she wouldn't call the male family just to let us know that we were fighting, she wanted to be spoiled with you like she used to be spoiled for her family" Howard said.

"Papa and his family are planning to discuss your engagement, what do you think?"

"When we were dating how many times we had a fight, every fight he would sulk out of my car and if I didn't persuade him he would get angry. indeed she is the princess of the kingdom should I relented and persuaded her," said Howard who was upset to recall the attitude of his lover.

"Lessy's making you so depressed?"

"Yes, I also don't like his childish nature and his effective attitude."

"What about Vinvin's attitude?"

"The girl is younger than Lessy, although she is sometimes childish but she is very independent, she can do things that Lessy can't do either. she doesn't like sulking."

"What can she do and what Lessy can't do?"

"Vinvin can do anything, he lives his own way, I often want to help him but he refuses. he's more willing to work in people's boutiques and rent a place to stay.he refused all my help," answer Howard.

"While Lessy was all just her maid's orders, she wouldn't even take a drink herself. If she wanted me to serve her like a queen, then she wasn't worthy at all" Howard continued.

"If Vinvin had asked you to serve him, would you have done it?"

"I will do whatever he asks, because if he asks for help then he really needs or no other way, but this is very rare" Howard replied.

Howard's father only smiled when he heard his son answer.
