The Unforgivable Wounds

The Unforgivable Wounds
Chapter 5 - The Fate That Is Inlaid

Now Sunday Seira has washed and cleaned the house, and cooked for all the residents of the house. Actually both of his aunt's children have graduated from college should they go looking for a job or something, but they are too lazy for that.

Do they feel bored every day? Oh yeah, they're out when Seira's monthly money comes in. They will have fun until they forget time. At least Seira could rest in peace if they left.

The food is ready all spelled. Then her aunt and children came out yawning and sat down to eat. But her aunt suddenly frowned when she opened the refrigerator.

"Why is there cake leftover?" Said his aunt looking towards the refrigerator that still left some cake.

"Haha you think special huh? Until you have to celebrate your birthday." Ledek Jelena remembered today was Seira's birthday.

"Haha are you celebrating your birthday alone? How sad!" Jefery laughed mockingly.

Seira only responded in silence. He forgot last night that he should eat it all and not leave the cake.

"Well, even you shouldn't be in the world anymore!" Jelena continued with a mocking laugh.

"Why not go with your parents anyway, you're a hassle!" Replace his grieving aunt.

"I'm sure even your parents wouldn't want to have kids like you, see they chose to leave you!" Jefery said not caring about Seira's look that held back her crying.

Stopit!

Seira could not take it anymore. Don't bring her parents, they're happy there. Seira came out while holding back her stuffing. Before it was really far away Seira still heard her aunt's loud scream.

"Based on a dumb kid, where are you going!"

But Seira did not care about it, and chose to speed up her pace. Seira ran towards her parents' camp. Indeed, since long ago when he felt sad or missed his parents he will always be there.

Spill out all his complaints. Telling him everything he holds. I don't know why Seira always feels so much better when she's done everything there. Indeed no one will respond of course, but Seira always felt the burden borne a little disappear.

"Thank you mother for giving birth to me in this world. I know you saw me from up there, but don't be sad for me. I promise to find my own happiness." Said Seira while resting in front of her mother's grave.

"Happy Birthday Seira Christy—"

—wush!

Seira blew out the candle on the small cake she brought in front of the graves of her parents, then smiled and walked away.

...*****...

Seira walked alone on a dark night. He hasn't come home yet. He'll be home late when his aunt and two cousins are asleep. Seira headed for safety and sat there alone.

The night the air gets colder and Seira only wears a thin T-shirt. Actually Seira had come home from the home to confide with Serumi, she was even told to stay the night but she refused because she felt bad, also tomorrow she had to go to school.

Seira shivered more and more then suddenly she felt something slung over her shoulder and it was a jacket. Seira looked back, there was a young man smiling at her.

"Hey what are you doing here, it's night. And just wear those clothes." His words reprimanded Seira. That young man who was hit by Seira at school yesterday.

"Just take a walk for a while." Seira replied rather awkwardly.

Seira grimaced and instead asked her, "Then what are you doing here?"

"It's a habit to get some fresh air." Said the young man while glaring at the star-studded night sky.

"Lit's the middle of the night?" Seira turned the question around, and then the two of them chuckled.

They then sat on the lawn and occasionally had a light chat. It turned out that the young man was also engrossed in Seira's mind. The young man felt the same.

"Oh yeah, I've spoken at length but I don't know your name yet." Said the young man.

Seira fell silent and stretched out her hand. "My name is Seira Christy you can call me Seira."

Seira's soft-sounding words coupled with her sweet smile, made the young man stare at Seira stunned.

"Dandy Atmajaya, you can call me Dandy." Said Dandy after he finished roaring Seira. The night was getting late and Seira said goodbye to go home soon.

"Let me drive you Seira." Dandy volunteered, he couldn't have let a girl wander around alone in the middle of the night.

Seira refused the offer because her house was not far away. "No need for Dandy, my house is close to here anyway."

"Eh it's not good to let a girl walk on her own. At midnight anyway, let me drop you off." Dandy forced him, because he was not happy with Dandy's invitation, Seira finally agreed.

Actually, Dandy had a car with him, but Seira said that his house was close to here. Only three alleyways from here, so Dandy decided to follow him on foot.

They have arrived, the lights of Seira's house have been extinguished because it is now 11 pm. Then Seira stood awkwardly in front of her house staring at Dandy who was still smiling waiting for her to enter the house.

"Eum thank you for driving me to Dandy's house." Said Seira while returning the Dandy jacket she was wearing.

"Okay together." Dandy received a jacket extended by Seira and immediately put it on.

Seira enters the house after saying a word of caution she walks to Dandy. Seira opens the glass curtain to see Dandy's departure.

Dandy was actually visiting his aunt there. Because it gets a call if his niece Beny misses him. Lucky today Sunday Dandy went to his aunt's house and played with Beny.

His aunt's house was very far from the city, when going home, Dandy accidentally saw someone sitting in the park not far from him. Feeling like he'd seen her he pulled over his car and got off to get to her.

"What's he doing alone in the middle of the night."

Dandy saw her shivering, quickly draping his jacket for her. The woman also looked at him. And ended up taking him to his house. When Dandy got home he smiled to himself.

"He's very sweet." He said as he continued to imagine Seira's smile until he fell asleep.

In other places Seira was the same, in his room continues to be imagined Dandy's handsome face. Dandy is really good. Even the fragrance of Dandy's perfume is still clinging to his dial.

"She stopped thinking about it. Let's go to sleep!"
