JTD Chapter 12

"Siera!"

"Well what else are you still here?" Siera was shocked when she saw Nuga suddenly appear behind her.

The reflex he pulled his hand trying to escape from the snare of Nuga's grip.

"Siera, I want to talk to you. Please," said Nuga.

As if not care about the rain that continues to fall increasingly heavy until his entire body is wet. Nuga continued to plead, asking to speak to Siera face-to-face.

"Nuga please let me go! There's nothing we need to talk about. If you're here because of my family's demands, please tell me I'm fine. I just want to be independent and not continue to depend on my family" Siera said half-screaming.

"That's not what I want to say, Siera! Please listen to me! I love you Siera, not Siena!"

The girl's body suddenly felt frozen, Siera lowered her head while biting her lower lip to contain her feelings.

"I don't want this ridiculous match! I love you!"

The grip of Nuga's hand was getting tighter, the man stared fixedly at Siera and continued to reveal what he had been craving for years.

"You're crazy, Nuga. You're out of your right mind" Siera said in a trembling tone of voice. Siera continued to look down as if she did not want to look at Nuga's face.

"For God's sake, I love you Siera. How do I make you believe?"

Siera fell silent without saying a word, drowning herself in the words that Nuga had just said to her. But the declaration of love has no meaning anymore, in fact the figure of Nuga is just a man who is betrothed to his own twin sister.

Now there was only the sound of rain and a few vehicles passing by, as if breaking the silence that now struck the two of them.

"Siera, look at me!" exclaiming Nuga trying to take the attention of Siera who just kept quiet while lowering her head.

The girl's body trembled, with great difficulty Siera held back so that her tears would not fall again for her unfulfilled love.

"Since when?" lirih Siera's.

"Since we graduated High School, I just realized that I don't just love you as a friend. I love you Siera, so I'm trying to get a scholarship so I can at least deserve to be with you."

Ha! Ha! Ha!

Siera suddenly laughed, although his face continued to look down and look grim. As if the girl was laughing at the situation that was happening to her, or rather laughing at the fate of her love that from the beginning must have run aground even though it has not started.

"It's funny Nuga. No matter how we feel, this doesn't close the reality if you accept the match! If you love Me, why do you accept it? Wh why? In the end I am only a shadow of Siena! Ha-ha-ha, indeed I should never have been born in this world! Because I am the fault itself," Siera said in a tone of voice that sounded so desperate. There was not the slightest place for her, in the end she had to give up everything for her twin sister.

"Siera, I will break that match! Forgive me for being such a coward and for never straightening out a misunderstanding."

"You want to make Siena die? and made me the only one to blame, and hate. I'm so tired, Nuga, from the beginning our feelings were a mistake. I've let you go, let's just say that my declaration of love never existed."

Siera turned her body back, intending to continue her delayed steps. But it is not that easy for Nuga to release Siera, the man again grabbed Siera's arm to make it go nowhere.

"Get your hand off!" A voice that now felt familiar to Siera suddenly sounded. The girl turned her head and saw that Nikolai was already between herself and Nuga.

Nikolai's beautiful greenish eyes stared intently at Nuga, as if intimidating and emphasizing that Siera was his.

"Let go! Are you deaf?" cerca Nikolais.

Nuga released his hand grip from Siera with a face that implied confusion. Nikolai quickly took over the girl's hand, leading Siera into his car.

Seeing the girl's reddened face, Siera just kept quiet without speaking a word.

"Siera," greeted Nikolai with his distinctive and soft-sounding tone.

But Siera was still unmoved, while continuing to look at Nuga who was still standing on the sidewalk without flinching at all through the car window.

Slowly tears began to fall from a pair of black beads of the girl who had been glazed earlier.

Huh!

Nikolai sighed, then grabbed a box of tissues and picked them up a few strands. Although his meeting with Siera was short and without intention, but it cannot be denied if he was captivated by the charm that Siera has. Just looking at the girl's face, her heart felt as though a needle was piercing her. The feeling of wanting to protect grew on the girl.

Slowly Nikolai wiped away the tears that began to flow on Siera's cheeks gently, it managed to retract Siera's consciousness and make the girl turn towards him.

Their eyes met each other, clashing with each other with the sound of the increasingly disturbing rain.

"Are you okay?" ask Nikolai back.

Siera immediately rubbed her face with her back and nodded her head and said, "Yes, sorry!"

"Sorry, why should I apologize? You don't have anything wrong with me."

"But I ...." Siera's words were interrupted when Nikolai placed the index finger of her hand right in front of Siera's lips. The man smiled and then rubbed the remains of tears that were still on Siera's face.

"Later on, we better get out of here."

Nikolai fitted a seatbelt for Siera, before finally starting to drive his car through the rain-soaked streets of the capital.

While Nuga immediately got into his car, trying to follow Nikolai's car that took Siera somewhere.

"Siera, come here! Don't be afraid, take my hand!" An eleven-year-old boy is seen descending into the rice field that has just been harvested. His hands stretched out, waiting for the hand of the little girl who was his new friend.

With doubt Siera began to go into the fields full of mud to drown his knees. The girl smiled as she did something new.

"This tea is called tutut, we will give umi to masakin!" said Nuga while showing a rice paddy snail that has a small size.

Siera frowned then asked, "It's edible? What about poisoning?"

Ha-ha-ha

"No, I'm eating this never why. Just calm down, because I'm sure you'll like it!" Nuga laughed until his voice filled the scorching rice fields that afternoon.

He deliberately touched Siera's nose with his finger full of mud, making the girl's nose dirty.

"Also!" siera's screams are upset.

"Ha-ha-ha, let's go! After this I'll get you a series of fruit. Anyway I'll tell you interesting things."

"Promise yes!" Siera stretched out her little finger, with a sweet smile that revealed her missing teeth one. Slowly also linking their little fingers and returning Siera's smile.

"Yes, I promise. We are friends!"

"Woi! If the real drive, bosen live lo!"

The sound of car horns and snapping from someone made Nuga jerk and wake up from his daydream.

He quickly corrected the speed of his vehicle, then clenched his hands together to apologize to the man who had just berated him.

From a distance, a car driven by Nikolai enters a luxury apartment building, making Nuga increasingly speed up the pace of his vehicle to get closer, and make sure if his vision is not wrong.

"What are they here for? And who's that guy?" he asked monologue in his heart. His forehead looks wrinkled, indicating that he is playing with his own speculations without definite clarity.
