The Vampire's Wife

The Vampire's Wife
35

Lucas just set his foot. Elena's voice greeted him to the point of making Lucas stop.

"Your father is waiting."

"I'm going to see him." Lucas continued walking.

Elena had quickly walked in parallel with Lucas to circulate Lucas' body scent that might give him proof.

"You feel at home in the city?" Elena asked with a faint smile.

"Hm yes."

"That's the answer."

"Then how? Didn't I tell you not to get too mixed up with my life." Elena nodded and continued to follow.

"I have a future wife for you." Lucas halted his steps and stared intently at Elena.

"Who? Your brother?" Lucas asked with a mocking smile.

"No. She's another woman. I accidentally met him while walking." Lucas chuckled at the thin smile Elena showed.

"That means your man's man Mama." Elena's smile faded with the reality Lucas had guessed." Shouldn't you get pregnant yourself in order to get a son. After that, you can instigate your own son and use him so that he can make your wish come true." Elena turned her face away while snorting.

"I no longer have a womb."

"That's your creed. Why are you pressuring me to realize your rotten goal!!!"

"It's not polite to you, Lucas! A mother should have found a soul mate for her child." Elena replied in denial.

"I'm not going to fall in love!!! You carved it in your brain Mama!!" Lucas continued his steps.

"Is it because of a human you rejected this matchmaking Lucas!!" Shouted Elena growled. Lucas stopped and turned back his body.

"It's none of your business! You have no right to rule me." Lucas smiled faintly and entered Stephen's room.

Damn that kid!!! The longer I can't respect me as her mother. I better get him here quickly. I'm sure this time Lucas will be interested in the woman of my choice.

Elena left as fast as lightning. Lucas is seen sitting in front of Stephen, who is waiting for him.

"Dad thought you forgot your way home."

"Don't I tell you that I'm going home less often, Dad."

"Dad wants to know the real reason Lucas. Why did you decide to live in that city." Lucas smiled faintly as he took a deep breath.

"Before I answer that question. I can tell you about my real mother." Stephen looked at Lucas with a worried face.

"Your mother is gone. Didn't you say that."

"That's not what I meant, Dad. Is my mother a human?" The words made Stephen's face more agitated. The truth was deliberately covered up because he did not want to confess his selfishness.

"Where might it be. That rule has been around since our ancestors..."

"And it stopped when Dad married Mom. Then I went back to this because I felt hurt by the betrayal." Stephen stood up and walked over to Lucas, who was also standing.

"What is this incitement from Alexander! Did you meet that damned man!!"

"I'm just asking for answers. Why did you ask that. Is it because only Uncle knows about this truth?"

"So you called your father lying Lucas!!!" Shouted Stephen furiously.

"If you don't do that. Why are you angry?" Stephen snorted as he turned his body and sat back in his great chair.

"Is Elena's guess right? You are now in contact with a human!!" Lucas did not flinch. He walked towards the window and sat at its edge." Dad applied it because he did not want our nation back to be hurt by humans. They're not loyal Lucas. They don't know thank you for the sacrifice we've made!" Finally, Stephen revealed the truth that had been sealed from Lucas.

"So my mother was human?" Ask Lucas again.

"Name Ana Maria."

"Where is the vortex."

"Dad doesn't know. I don't want to hear from that traitor. He abandoned you just because of another human being. I'm applying this rule because I don't want you to feel the same way."

"Our nation is. Not all humans are like that, Dad."

"Why did you say it was Lucas? Did you break that rule?" Stephen asked with widened eyes looking at Lucas who was still unmoved." Tell Lucas!!" Stephen shouted for answers.

"Dad broke it first." Lucas is ready to leave.

"Don't go without clarity. Tell me! Do you like a human being?" Lucas looked up and smiled thinly.

"If that happens. Nature wants to show the truth that the rules are wrong. God has arranged everything, Dad. Set our hearts to anchor to whom. Em I'm leaving. I try to visit every day." Lucas walked fast. Stephen blocked his steps because Lucas' answer felt floating.

"Are you already..."

"This is Daniella." Elena interrupted the conversation.

Stephen and Lucas looked. They saw a very beautiful Vampire girl standing next to Elena.

"Who is he?" Ask Lucas lirih.

"This is Mama's choice of wife." Lucas smiled mockingly.

"I'm not interested."

"The introduction just said that." Stephen hoped Lucas would do it.

"I like someone from one look. If I don't like it, I still don't like it. You'd better not be too lazy to choose a chaperone for me." Lucas continued his steps.

"It's because you already like a human being." Elena asked half a yell." You saw for yourself how your son behaved, Your Majesty." Elena pointed rudely at Lucas who just kept walking. Stephen was impatient to get an answer. Back to Lucas's steps.

"Tell Dad the truth is Lucas." Ask Stephen to sue.

"I think I'm following in your footsteps, Dad." Stephen rounded his eyes while Elena chuckled inwardly.

"You know it's a ban in our nation Lucas!!!" Shouted Stephen furiously. Anger at the glare of his eyes peppered. Her fear had really happened to her life.

His proud son who tried to keep him finally fell to the ban imposed by him.

Alex's swearing now happened. Stephen was charged with hunting his own son. If the hunt failed, Stephen would have exiled Lucas and would not have recognized him as a child.

"Only he can make me fall in love."

"Stop that right now or Dad won't acknowledge you as a child!!!" Lucas simply smiled wryly as he returned Stephen's beady gaze.

"I'm married. She's My Wife. Our blood has even been mixed into one. You know what that means?" Stephen swallowed his saliva rough." Lucas won't let go as long as the blood flow is still in our respective bodies like the loyalty that our nation applies." Stephen raised his hand and slapped Lucas in the face.

Aaaaaaaakkkkkk!!!

"He'll betray you!! You will regret loving humans!!!"

"I'm sorry it was me who felt so Dad didn't have to bother thinking about it." Lucas walked past Stephen. He was sure that Noa would be loyal to him.

"You're not my son if you keep moving your legs!!!" Shouted Stephen hoping Lucas stopped his move to leave.

"Give the throne to your son-in-law Father. From today I'm not your son." Lucas turned into smoke and left unconcerned with the threat Stephen posed.

"Lucaaaaaas!!!!" Stephen's cries were deafening.

The sky turned cloudy. Accompanied by the roar of lightning that is mutually unpretentious.

Stephen stared incessantly at Lucas' disappearance and twisted his body and left without caring for Elena who was smiling triumphantly.

Haha... Soon those humans will be soft food. Stephen will repeal that rule and I can hunt human blood freely..

Ana is in a secret room. He raised his head to stare at the lightning shaft that was right above the kingdom.

He looked down with a sad look. Given the same atmosphere when Stephen was fighting for his love to have to fight his own father.

I never betrayed you, baby. I had to do it for our son. Don't spread hate on people just because you hate me.

Ana came back sobbing without tears. Staring at the ceiling of the room with false hopes that have been hundreds of years ago in the long run.
