23. Alena's Heart

FLASH BACK....

A luxury car passed by on the road. As in the morning, the owner of the car will usually go to his office to work.

But when passing through a park, he seemed to see someone who was very familiar with him. He decided to go back and return to the park.

When he returned to the park he saw a woman sitting alone in a garden chair while daydreaming.

And it turns out that the woman is Alena. The woman he had always loved was silent. Yes that person was Reihan the man who had only been able to admire Alena silently.

Initially Reihan only wanted to see Alena from a distance because he was aware of what Alena's status was now, but seeing Alena who continued to daydream like looking sad and in trouble finally Reihan was approaching and patted Alena on the shoulder.

Finally, Alena allowed Reihan to sit next to her.

'It is also a public chair so he can also sit here, and sitting here alone will look more sad' Alena murmured.

For a moment they were just as silent, Reihan who was still waiting for Alena told me finally impatiently and began to open his voice to break the silence between them.

"Did you go to the store today? why is it here?" Ask Reihan.

"You're not in the office here either" Instead of answering Alena actually reversed Reihan's question.

"I was going to the office, but on the way I saw a beautiful woman sitting alone in the park, so than later the woman was too late mending I just asked" replied Reihan who was actually honest but ended with a joke so that Alena could smile.

And it turned out that it was true to hear Reihan's reply sounding disdainful and mocking Alena slightly smiled.

"Emang why if I am late, rarely know there are beautiful women kesambet"

"Yes no papa anyway but just a pity aja beautiful but kesambet, mending I kidnap aja rather than kesambet"

"Who else is trying to kidnap you"

they both share the same laugh but Alena's laughter eliminates when she suddenly remembers her husband's affair.

Seeing Alena who returned moody Reihan became increasingly convinced that Alena was in trouble.

"Alena, it's not my intention to be presumptuous or anything but, if you have a problem or a burden of mind you can really share it with me. Although not necessarily I can provide the right solution to your problem, but at least your burden will be slightly reduced if you share it" said Reihan.

Alena listened carefully to what Reihan said earlier, maybe she would feel better when she shared her pain with Reihan. But what is appropriate for her to tell about her domestic relationships to others.

Seeing that Alena was silent, Reihan knew that Alena was still hesitant to share her story, and Reihan spoke again.

"I know that you might still hesitate to share your story with me, I understand but Alena whenever you need a friend for a story or even just need a shoulder to lean on, I know, I will always be there for you" Reihan said solemnly.

"Re....... I didn't know what to say or where I started to get confused" Alena said. He himself was confused what to say.

"Let's just calm down Alena's slow story"

Finally Alena told Reihan everything, starting from her critical father and matchmaking with Akbi. Until the friendly photos of her husband and her lover sent by people she does not know.

Reihan listened to Alena's story carefully, he did not interrupt Alena until Alena finished telling him.

Sometimes she stroked Alena's back to make Alena feel calmer.

Hearing Alena's story, Reihan feels very angry at Akbi for betraying the woman he loves, But he tries to control himself so as not to look emotional in front of Alena, but he tries to control himself, Reihan doesn't want Alena to feel fragile.

Reihan also blames himself because all this time he was too afraid to approach Alena, he was too afraid of Alena's rejection. Just try first she is more courageous to approach and express her feelings for Alena, maybe Alena will not be betrothed to her father and will not feel hurt because of her husband's betrayal.

Reihan waited for Alena to feel calmer than her cries. After feeling the cry Alena had begun to calm Reihan just started talking.

"Alena..... I think what you're doing is right, you really don't show your suspicions to your husband first so that he doesn't suspect and is even more careful"

"But didn't you say that Akbi always came home late every day and met the woman first before coming home?" Ask Reihan.

"Yes I'm sure Akbi must have met his girlfriend before he came home, because every day he always comes home at night"

"Then what if later in the afternoon we wait for your husband to come home from the office and we follow him, whether he really will meet his girlfriend or not, if it's true that he's been seeing his girlfriend all this time, I think you should make your choice and you should also speak kindly to your husband's parents if what you do is the worst decision. However they already think of you as their own daughter" Reihan said his thoughts.

"But I'm not good if you also follow Akbi, you must also be busy right so let me alone follow Akbi alone" Alena refused to want Reihan who wants to accompany her.

"No Alena, I won't let you alone face all this, so let me keep you company huh"

Reihan can't possibly let Alena face all of this on her own, especially if Alena sees her husband with another woman. That would make Alena even more sad and devastated.

Finally Alena agreed to Reihan's request to accompany her following Akbi this afternoon as Reihan continued to insist on accompanying her.

"Then it's better that you come with me first" Reihan asked.

"Where are you?" ask Alena.

"We walk first, we calm your heart first so that later you can be calmer when you know everything"

Alena thought for a moment and nodded her head in agreement.
