Dinners

The dining table is filled with all kinds of food . The family of 5 seemed to sit around the dining table and start enjoying their meal.

Opa David looks happy. After so long, Alexander was finally willing to sit down with them enjoying their dinner without any quarrels.

"Vi, let's try this." Said Aunt Jessy while putting food on Selvi's plate.

"Thank you Auntie." Reply Selvi." It's so good." Selvi continued, putting the food in her mouth and smiling. "Tante, Aunty's cooking is always the best." Selvi said again by giving her thumbs up to Aunt Jessy.

Then Selvi switched to talking to the others.

"Opa, Om, you two should try this too. This cuisine is so good." Selvi looked happy.

"Your aunt was so happy to hear that you two were going home for dinner. So he cooked all this food himself." Speak to James.

"Thank you very much Auntie." Selvi said with her eyes starting to water.

When she heard Om James, Selvi felt so touched because Aunt Jessy had always loved her, just like Om James and Opa David.

Looking at her reddened eyes, Opa David said, "foolish girl. Why are you crying? Eat up fast."

Selvi wiped her tears and then smiled.

"All right Opa."

Meanwhile Alexander just sat there without saying anything. He was just focused on their chatter. She felt the warmth she had longed for all this time.

Aunt Jessy looked at Alex and said, "you eat too. This is your favorite food. If you like it, I'll cook it for you if you come back later." Aunt Jessy's words pointed towards the food that was Alex's favorite food.

Alex didn't say anything, he just took the food that Aunt Jessy had appointed and tasted it. Aunt Jessy felt so touched and happy because for the first time. Alex never wanted to eat his cooking, but today he wanted to eat it.

James looked towards his wife and rubbed her back. Aunt Jessy smiled as well. Meanwhile, Selvi looked towards Alex and thought.

'He wasn't too bad today.' Selvi said in her heart.

After dinner, Opa David asks Selvi to accompany him for a walk in the park. While James and Alexander go to the study room to talk about work, Aunt Jessi returns to her room.

In the study room....

"Alex How's your job?" Ask James.

Although James is retired, he is still the owner of the company's shares. James holds a 25% stake in Opa David has the largest share holding 35% and Alex himself holds 20% and the rest is the owner of the other shares.

Alex then gave his father a report about his work at the office. James looked at his son and said,

"You're almost 31 years old. When are you getting married? Your Opa always asks about it. Don't let him worry. Her health hasn't been very good lately." James said

"I understand." Said Alex.

"At that time Opa wanted you to marry Selvi. But you refuse that. You said you wanted to be with that model. We let you do what you want. But until now.... Are you sure you really want to be with that woman? We all know you don't like to be controlled. But please at least appreciate your Opa. Your opa is always worried about you two. Although Selvi is not her grandson, she is still worried about Selvi's life. Ever since you turned her down, we've been thinking of her as our daughter. I hope you can be a big brother to him and pay attention to him. He lives outside alone." Papa Alex said to him at such length.

"I know what I'm doing." Said Alex.

After the two had a long chat, they walked up to the top floor and saw Opa David and Selvi who had returned from their streets. Opa David looked towards James and Alex. After that he looked back at Selvi.

"Don't forget Wednesday." Opa David.

"Hmm." Reply. Selvid.

Opa David then went to his room assisted by a servant and after that James went to his room. Meanwhile, Selvi walks out followed by Alex.

Alex walked up to his car and opened the back door. However Selvi walked past him and headed towards the direction of the gate.

"Where are you going?" Ask Alex.

Selvi looked back and said, "of course go home."

Alex points towards the door and orders Selvi.

"Come in." Decide Alex.

Selvi looked towards him and asked, "me? No. no need. I can take a taxi myself." Reply Selvi.

He won't get in Alex's car. Alex tries to hold back his emotions. She was already annoyed to see Selvi ignoring herself again.

Alex said, "it's late. There's no taxi here."

Selvi looked towards her phone and saw the clock there. What Alex said was true. But he still refused Alex. He did not want to experience the same situation again as back then when he was left on a deserted street.

"It's okay, I can call Alena or Dani."

After saying that, Selvi turned back and walked towards the gate.

Alex's face looked angry and he walked closer to Selvi.

Selvi was so shocked and almost fell down when Alex suddenly carried her.

"What are you doing?" Shouted Selvi.

Selvi quickly put her arm around Alex's neck. Their position makes Selvi look blushing. While Alex did not answer anything he then put Selvi's body in the car and closed the car door immediately.

He went to the car door on the other side and entered . After that he asked the driver to drive his car away from his family's residence.
