The Woman You Ignore

Aina Nuraini is a village girl who is betrothed to a man named Adam Leonardo. Previously, Aina worked as a domestic assistant at Adam's residence. In fact, he helped prepare all of Adam's needs so that they would already know each other.

Adam is forced to marry Aina by her mother because she likes Aina very much as her daughter-in-law. Adam's mother believed that Aina could change Adam's life. While Aina has long kept a taste for Adam since she worked as a domestic assistant. Aina could not refuse the request of Mariam Leonardo, Adam's mother.

In the end, the two of them agree to marry for the sake of Mariam who is impatient to have grandchildren from Adam and Aina. However, unfortunately until now their marriage of 5 years has not been given offspring, so Mariam felt sad.

"Mother, I told you that I don't love Aina. Why do you insist on setting me up with him? Now I know that Aina still can't conceive my son." said Adam, rubbing his face rough.

Adam became nervous. "Why didn't you tell me to get married again so you could give me a grandchild soon?" tanyakanya.

"Why are you doing this Aina? Look, the food is so much. Who's gonna spend all this? You don't get too wasteful. You should be able to save my money" said Adam in a sharp tone.

Deg, Aina's heart was like a thorn in hearing her husband's words. In fact, she intended to make her husband happy but she even got a stabbing speech from her husband's mouth.

"Other times before you do something, you have to think about Aina first" Adam said.

In fact, Adam was so rich that he would not be poor even though Aina asked for a luxurious house. Perhaps, Adam was annoyed at his pregnant wife so much that he vented his frustration on Aina.

Adam stood up from his seat with a bag in his hand. "Mas, where are you going? Why not breakfast?" ask Aina.

Adam breathed in violently. "I don't want breakfast. You eat it yourself. If it does not run out, just give it to the workers in this house. I'll have breakfast outside."

Then, Adam left Aina who was still standing staring at his disappearance. Adam doesn't care about his wife anymore.

Aina stared at her husband's departure with a sad feeling. She felt guilty for doing so without telling her husband.

"Aina!" call Ms. Mariam who just came along with Bi Asti who pushed her wheelchair.

"Yes ma'am, what's wrong?" ask Aina.

"Did Adam leave? Why isn't he having breakfast?" ask Ms. Mariam.

Aina looked down sad because Adam did not want to have breakfast together.

"Say Adam wanted breakfast outside Ma'am. Then let's have breakfast together, ma'am, Aina has prepared it for mom."

"You cooked all this Aina?" ask Ms. Mariam.

Aina nodded in response.

Aina smiled happily at her mother-in-law's praise. Ms. Mariam appreciates the hard work of her son-in-law, in contrast to Adam who often blames his wife and makes Aina hurt.

"Then, please call the waiter. We have breakfast together" said Ms. Mariam.

Aina immediately called the waiters for breakfast together. Everyone present enjoyed Aina's delicious and perfect cuisine.

"It really favors Aina. I really like your cooking," praised Ms. Mariam.

"Let's eat all this food" Ms. Mariam told everyone present.

Ms. Mariam knew about the problem of her son and daughter-in-law, so she took the initiative to restore Aina's joy by inviting everyone to enjoy Aina's cooking. He also felt sad at the attitude of his son who could not be gentle when talking to his wife.

Adam leaned his head on his seat while thinking about how to immediately have offspring. Despite several times taking Aina to the doctor to follow the baby tube program, they have not managed to have it. This made Adam feel frustrated.

Adam took his cell phone at the desk and checked the message from his wife.

"Mas, don't forget to have breakfast, yes" Aina wrote in the message.

However, Adam did not care about it and put back his phone without replying to a message from Aina.

"Good morning, sir. This is the file you asked for" said a woman who worked as a secretary.

"Thank you, you can go" Adam replied, accepting the file.

Suddenly, Jack came and greeted Adam.

"For bosses!"

"Hmm" Adam answered briefly.

"Not answered," replied Jack.

"Yes, what's wrong Jack?" ask Adam.

"I want to tell you about the woman we investigated yesterday. Didn't Boss order me to investigate?" said Jack.

Adam who was focused on checking his files became a bit surprised but still seriously listened to him.

"Then?"

"The woman was from a simple family, and she received an arranged marriage with an old grandfather. I saw it very sorry because the woman was young and beautiful" Jack said.

"Why is he being betrothed?" asked Adam curiously.

"His parents were in debt, so they were forced to give up their daughter to an old man" Jack explained.

Adam paused for a moment, then thought of a plan.

"How do you think? I want to have a child soon, do I marry that woman instead of her marrying an old man?" ask Jack.

"You mean you want polygamy? What about Aina? Poor him" asked Jack.

Adam took a rough breath and looked at Jack seriously.

"I'll ask permission to marry again. Even though I have a head of three, but I still have no descendants. While you've only been married for a year, you've had children, Jack. I envy you so much" said Adam firmly.

Jack understands and agrees with his boss.

As a company leader, Adam felt the need to have a successor for the future of the company.
