The Woman You Ignore
Episode 2

Aina waited for her husband's return but it was already 10pm that Adam still did not show his nose. Aina started to get nervous thinking about her husband.

"Aina why haven't you slept?" ask Ms. Mariam.

"Aina is not sleepy yet Mom, Aina wants to wait for the return of Adam's mas."

Mariam looked at Aina with pity, she was sad to see Aina who was still faithful waiting for her husband's return when it was late at night. "Aina you better get some sleep, it's night. I'll let you know when Adam comes home." Aina nodded her head at the answer, she was already very sleepy but as a wife she had to welcome her husband.

"Then Aina goes to bed first Mom, later if Adam comes home please tell Aina."

"Yes Aina, go to sleep." Aina returned to her room, she was very grateful to have such a kind and understanding in-law. Aina started yawning and felt drowsiness then she closed her eyes. Lately Adam's been coming home late. At exactly 12 p.m., Adam just got home.

"Adam!" call Ms. Mariam in a firm tone greeting Adam who just came home. Adam was surprised to see his mother still waiting for his return. "Mother? why isn't mom sleeping? it's already night."

"Mom is waiting for your return." - Adam walked over to his mother and kissed her hand gently. "Why do you wait for Adam, you should be sleeping at this hour. Mother do not sleep too late because the health of the mother is not good" he said by gently rubbing the mother's hand.

"If you love mom, you should be home by noon. Poor wife, she's waiting for your return."

"I'm sorry Adam Ma'am, because Adam's work is just finished." Mariam looked at Adam suspiciously.

"Mom can't believe it! I know about the state of your company, please don't lie to me!" he said with a high tone. Adam tried to convince his mother. "Adam didn't lie Mom, lately Adam's work has been a lot. So Adam had to go home at night, next time Adam would come home by day Mom."

Then Adam pushed his mother's wheelchair into the room, and she put her mother to sleep slowly.

"Mother is asleep, it's night." Mariam nodded with her answer.

"Adam excuse me, ma'am, you want to see Aina." Mariam smiled, not expecting Adam to lie to her. He knew Adam had met someone. Previously, Ms. Mariam had asked the man to report his son's activities in the office.

At first Ms. Mariam did not believe that Adam had met a woman, but after her man gave evidence of a photograph she believed.

Adam entered his room with a feeling of annoyance to see his wife who had fallen asleep.

'You should have welcomed me Aina, why did you ask my mother to welcome my return. The more the day you make me angry.' his regret in the heart.

Adam threw his jass in any direction, causing Aina to wake up from her sleep.

"engh, are you home yet?" he said it by blinking his still sleepy eyes. Adam looked at his wife sharply.

"This is how a wife welcomes her husband!" he said with a firm and high tone.

"Sorry Mas, my mother told me to sleep and I obeyed her because my eyes were sleepy Mas."

"Stupid! you shouldn't be sleeping. Even though my mother told you to sleep, you should have refused. Didn't you see my mom was sick?"

Aina looked down lamenting her mistake, for some reason every day there were always problems with her. She had tried to be a good wife but still her husband often scolded her.

"I'm sorry Mas, next time I won't be like this anymore. I'm sorry." he said with regret.

"You always make me dizzy Aina, until when you're like this continues" he said in a high tone.

Though it was not Aina's fault, but her fault for always coming home late at night. But Adam did not realize all that, he always considered himself right.

"Please prepare my warm water, my body is already very sticky. You just shut up." he said, Aina quickly went to the bathroom to prepare warm water, in there she cursed her stupid self. He was tired of himself always being wrong.

'Until when do I have to be like this God, ' he murmured.

"I've prepared the hot water" and Adam passed his wife without saying thank you. Aina was saddened by the change in her husband's attitude, when Adam was not like this. But for some reason lately there has been a lot of change in Adam.

Every night Adam always turned his back on his wife, he did not even want to be touched by his wife. Aina could only cry under her thick blanket without a sound, she was very hurt by her husband's attitude.

Adam had gone into his dreamland soundly while Aina still could not close her eyes. She was too late in her thoughts, thinking about how she would not make any more mistakes with her husband.

Adam spilled a glass of water on his wife's face so that Aina was shocked by Adam's treatment which suddenly woke her up.

"Mas!" Aina looked around her room room and she was very surprised to see the clock on the wall that already showed at 8 am.

"I'm bad luck Mas, I'm sorry" he said, just last night he was thinking about how not to make a mistake, but now he's doing it again.

"Yes, your sleep is very good. What kind of wife are you." she said with a sharp look at Aina.

"I'm sorry, Mommy,"

"Sorry you said! until when are you going to say that. You cannot learn from your mistakes. I don't know why you're like this Aina, what's really wrong with you." he asked in a stern tone, Adam asked his wife without her asking himself.

Aina could not answer her husband's words, she could only shed tears for his answer. All this time she was never weak or crying in front of her husband but this time she could not stand the tears.

Adam left Aina still standing, he hated to see her tears. So he better go downstairs without caring about his wife anymore.

"Mom's Eve" she said to the mother sitting at the dinner table, then she kissed her forehead.

"Where's Aina? why hasn't she come here yet." she asked curiously because Aina doesn't usually wake up late.

"Aina just woke up Mom, she'll be here soon too." Mariam was confused by her son's words, because as far as she knew Aina never woke up bad luck even Aina was a diligent wife. Shortly after Aina came down the stairs to the dining table, Ms. Mariam noticed the change in Aina. He saw Aina's puffy and flushed eyes. Ms. Mariam was convinced that her son and daughter-in-law were having problems.

"For Mom, sorry Aina's bad luck" he said with smiling lips but his eyes could not lie, he kept a lot of sadness there.

"What's wrong Aina, her name is also human so it's natural that you wake up late. I know you must be very tired because you work in this house too often. From now on I won't allow you to do homework." Aina quickly shook her head, he did not want if he was not allowed to work anymore because he was already very much indebted to his mother-in-law. "No Ma'am, Aina will keep working. Last night Aina just couldn't sleep so Aina had bad luck. I'm sorry Aina ya Bu" she said, staring at her husband.

Ms. Mariam was very sad with Aina's attitude like this, she felt sorry to have married Aina with her son who never appreciated his wife.
