WSTM Chapter 23 - Under the Table
"Mommy, in front of a mommy friend who came," Aurora reported, she came to the mommy who was still in the room.
Rora's shout also caught the attention of Zen and Joshua. Joshua immediately took a peek at who was coming, while Zen pretended not to care and continued watching television.
"really? Then let's meet, "take Ainsley to the child, she holds Rora and heads to the living room. I'm pretty sure that's Mr. Ford.
Heading there Joshua followed behind, he was very curious.
"Master," said Ainsley when she met the guest.
Damian greeted with a clumsy smile, not expecting so many children here. The people Ains was referring to turned out to be children.
"Ains," Damian replied more clumsy, he was better prepared to meet Ains' parents than these children, he became confused himself let alone the children were staring at him intensely, making him nervous.
"Master brought pizza?" ainsley asked when she saw the pizza box was on the table.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Then let's eat together, I'll introduce you to all these kids at the dinner table" Ainsley said, knowing that Mr. Ford was feeling awkward.
Ainsley was still not aware that mommy's call embedded for him made the man's heart a little bitter.
I don't know, cramped because of what?
They have no right to know each other's personal lives.
Ainsley even pulled and clasped tightly onto the Master's hand as he entered the living room.
Amara and Joshua, who saw the hand, looked at each other, then chuckled softly. It's not a friend, it's a boyfriend! the inner two people, they just look at each other but as if they can understand what their respective minds are.
In the living room Ainsley also pulls Zen to the dining table, where Damian finally meets Ema's aunt.
"Sir, this is Aunt Ema" said Ainsley.
"It's Zen, Amara, Joshua and it's Aurora" Ainsley said.
Damian was really confused as to what the relationship of all these people was. Auntie Ema why is called Aunt, why not mom or mommy. Why does Amara call Ains Kak, while Rora calls Mommy?
Really, Damian was very confused.
But in the end they all sat at the dinner table and ate the pizza together.
Under the table Ainsley quietly felt Mr. Ford's thigh, wanting to give a touch to keep feeling comfortable when in the middle of his family.
"Om Ford is a friend of Ains's, so why did Ains call you? Why not just call me a name?" ask Amara.
"Actually Mr. Ford is the new big brother's boss." Ainsley answered.
"If the boss why was brother Ains holding Ford's hand? Are you guys dating?" ask Joshua.
Damian nearly choked on the pizza he ate, feeling he was being interrogated.
Ainsley was about to explain, but Damian hurriedly clasped the woman's hand to shut up. Because he is the one who will answer.
"Right, I'm the boss of Ains and his girlfriend. So don't call me Om, call Sis. And Rora should call me Daddy, too" Damian explained plainly.
Ainsley was stunned when he heard that explanation, While Zen immediately stared cynically at this guest.
While Damian, he himself did not think that whatever Ains status still made him fascinated.
Damian won't ask much, this is the Ains family. What makes Damian feel relieved is that there are no adult men living here.
Although Ains was a widow, it was no problem for him.
Under the table Damian clasped tightly onto Ains' hand, even linking their fingers together.
